I was the first appointment today at 8 am, in fact I was there before the mechanics and had to wait in my car until someone un locked the door. Just needed an oil change. My boyfriend had also purchased the bulb for my rear blinker which was out and I asked the man if they could throw it in for me, his only response was no problem, no mention of what the cost would be. An hour and a half later, when not one other person came in to have any service done, they come back with my bill of $ 87.00 for an oil change, an air filter, and a blinker installed. When the girl at the front desk broke my bill down for me they charged me $ 30 dollars for labor for putting in the bulb. I paid and left, telling the very nice girl at the counter I was unhappy. Knowing how nice she was i knew she would not pass along the message of my unhappiness the way she should so I felt it necessary to call. When I asked the man why he did not tell me the cost when he said«no problem» his response was that most people expect to pay when they have a service done, and I was charged for the time it took, 3 tenths of an hour. Which I believe is about 15 minutes. I did pay their over priced bill so his answer for me on the phone, certainly did not satisfy me. Also, why is this man too dumb to change my light while the oil was draining, essentially taking no time? Not to mention he kept trying to talk over me when I was telling him how unhappy I was. He was not able to justify my wait of an hour and a half when my car was the only one being serviced, either. I will certainly never be going back to Phils Ford. Just awful.
