I was looking for a nearby stay-​cation for my first anniversary and found this hotel. I was definitely satisfied with our one-​night stay. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The location was great — right on the water front next to the river walk. We took advantage of many of the hotel’s amenities — we enjoyed the pool, and while we didn’t use the fitness center, it was well-​stocked and clean. The adjoining restaurant/​bar, Freighters, has a great happy hour specials until 10:00 pm. Can’t beat $ 2 beers and half-​off appetizers. This hotel definitely fit the bill for a quick getaway.
