It’s a dive.
However, if that’s your thing (as it is mine) it’s a GREAT dive. This is a working class shots and beer bar. They have music on a tiki deck in the summer and kareoke inside nightly.
Beer is cold, folks are friendly, food is good and cheap.
I had a hand made mushroom Swiss burger with hand cut fries and it was messy and delicious.
I simply felt I was doing a disservice not writing a positive review on this place.

I have stopped in here from time to time, usually for one or two beers. They have a nice outdoors deck, perfect for just-​about-​all-​year enjoyment.
Inside, the bar is older looking, but fits right in with the river district, or with any river district setting. They have a band stand area, although I have never been in there during the evening hours.
On a side note: The owners are knowledgeable car buffs, for anyone who might want to have a lively conversation along those lines.
Close to I-​94 exit 274, they have plenty of parking.
