I emailed for a consultation for a tattoo i wanted to get. Unfortunately, Phil does not want to tattoo my idea.
Initially I was very upset. Angie kept a dialogue with me; I can understand why an artist doesn’t want to tattoo something he doesn’t like. However, it’s still disappointing. I don’t want another artist; I’ve seen Phil’s work and really love it. Not to mention I already have a piece done by him on my body. I don’t want to look for someone else to complete my tattoo vision.

I got my tattoo from Phil Garcia just before Thanksgiving 2013. The piece is amazing. It is an honor to have his artwork on my skin. Phil is a professional, knowledgeable and talented artist who will give 100% of himself to insure a spectacular outcome every time. The way that Phil tied his piece in with my existing work is nothing short of brilliant. I get lots of compliments on the tattoo from complete strangers, family and co-​workers everyday… but it is the compliments that I get from other well-​known and respected tattoo artists about Phil’s piece that really stand-​out. Phil’s reputation for awesome work is both earned and well deserved.

I just got my tattoos done by Jimmy. Great job! He was a man of his word and got the job done when he said he would. I’ve seen some of their artwork on other people and was greatly impressed. I’m definitely going to come back to these guys for my next tattoo.

Ask for Jimmy Bell! Come here for the best tattoo experience, hands down! I got my first tattoo at a different shop near this one and it was a horrible experience. The artist never got back to me to finish his work nor did he inform me of the proper way to care for my new tattoo. Through numerous reccommendations, i ended up here at Inkphiller Studios. I was originally looking to get work done by Phil Garcia as he is a legend in the game and owner of the shop, but he was booked up because he is so well known. He was extremely nice when i talked to him though and said that if i could wait, he would definitely work on me. Problem was, i wanted to get my work done by summer and there was lots to be done. So Phil graciously hooked me up with one of his parters in the shop, Jimmy Bell. I was a little hesitant at first because he hasnt been tattooing as long as Phil has, but he seemed so professional and passionate about his hob that i gave him a shot. I am so glad i did! I am getting both of my arms covered in full Japanese-​themed sleeves and Jimmy has done top shelf work while being extremely professional. I am an absolute perfectionist. If one thing is out of place, i will notice and i will think about it constantly. Jimmy’s work is absolutely jaw dropping. Literally everyday, i receive at least 10 compliments on my arms even from people who hate tattoos. My friend’s tell me that the work he has done on my arms literally look like paintings and they call me a «walking art museum» now. Jimmy has only been in the game for a short while so he is still getting known, but he has been working under a legend and it is not long before he becomes a full on legend in his own right. Trust me, i have handed out many of his cards. He will start getting very busy and as a result, his prices will of course go up. This is the time to get work done by him. His prices are extremely reasonable and honestly a steal considering the absolute beauty of his work. Jimmy Bell is the model tattoo artist and it is an honor to have him working on me. Not to mention, tattoo sessions are long and painful, so it helps to have someone who is easy to talk to, funny, and relaxed around for the 4 or 5 hours you are in the chair.
