Called them to inquire about haircuts. Rather curt on the phone. $ 28 for a mens cut which seems high to me. What turned me off was that I was told it’s $ 28 on saturdays. I asked what about other days and was told that it’s $ 25 or $ 26 and depends. I was turned off and will not be going to a barber shop that charges variable pricing. I come from Long Island where it’s easy to get a hair cut for $ 12-$ 15. I understand that things are more in westchester but $ 28 for a barbershop, come on, what’s going on here? How do places that charge you different prices on a given day stay in business? There must not be enough competition I suppose. Well, I will not be patronizing this place.

For the best old fashioned men’s haircut you will ever receive, head on over to see Ritchie at the Rye Ridge Barber shop. I’ve been going to Ritchie since I was about two years old. While in college, I wasn’t able to go for a haircut by Ritchie and instead went to joints such as Supercuts, Great Clips, etc. There’s nothing on this earth like one of these mom and pop barber shops. Down to earth, clean, and quality. Ritchie is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet, sociable and honest. He’s had years of experience at cutting hair and it shows in his final product. A clean cut, attractive and very professional looking haircut. He’ll never botch a cut. Each time that mirror’s pulled out and he shows you the back neck line, it’s perfect. Since Ritchie works solo and this place is more than popular in the area, you may have a good hour wait on weekends at peak times. Just give him call beforehand and ask if there’s a wait. He’ll be honest and upfront with you. Cuts are reasonably priced, $ 22 on weekdays and $ 25 on weekends. If you haven’t yet discovered the Rye Ridge Barber shop, you’re overdue.
