There’s just something about this place that makes it great! Although I never had there famous chicken nuggets special, I have had and absolutely love the hotsy breakfast sandwich. Its bacon, egg and cheese on roll with chili and either potato cones or home fries. Go with the cones. They’re amazing. They also have a great selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. You see where I am going with this. Its so good.

Had take out from here and ordered chicken nuggets and chili cheese fries. The verdict: amazing Fries were crispy, beef was seasoned nicely, and chicken nuggets are all white meat. Definitely satisfied a craving!

This place is a MUST try. Their chicken nuggets are the best i’ve ever had, hands down. The«special» is good on its own with some seasoning, but adding chili and cheese takes it up to a whole other level of good. The only downfall is that the food is extremely greasy, so be careful of the aftermath.

The best fries chicken! The salty spice is kicking! Good stuff!!! I enjoy getting the chicken to go on a summer day to bring out on the boat. Everyone always has a smile.

When I was young, i went to school… dirty, dirty, dirty MFs thats what I heard a crack head mutter outside Garden Catering one day. Well, it was funny, but I was hungry, and ate my 3 peice fried chicken platter in full. Then, while walking back home up Leonard St. I was confronted by some folks from Weber drive… «Heyo, Chicken Maiiiinnn, Lemme COP sommmuhdat YARDbirD» Hell no– Its MINE! Anyway, I used to stroll down here when it was the TRUest ghetto chicken spot, I think it was referred to as Hollywood chicken or some other PRE– Kennedy fried chicken derivate. But since garden took it over, my main man is working there and taking care of business serving the best non-Halal chicken this side of Gun Hill Road,.

I have been going here for years. The chicken nuggets and Fried zucchini is soooo good. Plus the seasoning is great. They have a few tables outside to eat at in the Spring/Summer time. Just watch out for the bees. They have a huge menu to select from. Cold cut wedges, stuffed clams, steak and cheese… You name it and they have it!!!

I have only gone to this location once and it was on a trip back North recently. Of course I’ve frequented the various Greenwich and Stamford locations a bazillion times growing up. But as we had to head over into Port Chester for some quick shopping, there was no way I couldn’t stop when I drove past and smelled that beautiful frying smell mixing with seasoning salt. The cones here were better than I imagined. So crispy, so warm, so salty, and then so mushy and smooth inside. Oh My God. Anyway, the rest of our meals were amazing as usual. 5 stars are for food, easy parking, low prices, and lots of options(including many vegetarian ones).

The junior chicken in a bag with cones is my favorite, what could be more rewarding. Make sure to get extra seasoning. Also if you are in the mood for a cheeseburger wedge, they make a good one. Top it off with a side of cones and you are in enjoying one of my guilty pleasures.

Still as popular as ever. My friends and I started going in high school, and now we’ve graduated from college… When we’re all back in the olé stompin’ grounds we hit up Garden. I went with the Home Run(0.5 lb of chicken nuggets, fries, chili, and cheese) while my buddies went with a High School with cheese, a Bad Boy(0.75 lb of chicken nuggets with fries) and a Godfather Home Run Mix(1 lb of chicken nuggets, fries, cones, chili, and cheese). We are beasts. Prices have gone up a bit($ 7 for my Home Run and a can of soda which is included in the special!?! The audacity!), but are still reasonable, as you can see from my parenthetic comments(I so enjoy making parenthetic comments. I believe they add a certain je né sais quoi to anything, like chili and cheese to any food. Parenthetic statements are also helpful in weeding out the believers from the posers, those who truly seek out information rather than skim weakly over this review. You missed out on a price of a Home Run by skipping earlier, silly! If you are a poser you are not paying attention to this statement because it is in parenthesis and you deem this unworthy of your time — for shame, for shame). So yeah, it’s still really good?
