This place remains one of our favorites. It’s become our own little Italian place though we come over from one town away, Greenwich. We have introduced all our friends now too. Best Veal Parm, Scarpiello, Seafood Salad, Ravioli nights, mussels and clams, great deserts and pizza but if you are only about pizza you are missing out on great food. The service staff is outstanding too with Cindi and Checko that have our favorite drinks on the table the minute we sit down. Prices are very fair and portions huge. This place is a must.

I ordered the chicken scarpiello the other nite and it tasted nothing nor looked like the dish. It was more like lemon chicken! I guess the kitchen did not know how to make it and ruined my appetite. Don’t order this dish as you will be very disappointed. Stick to pizza here.

Hands Down Best Pizza in Port Chester !! Straight up hot when delivered. All the toppings still in place. I have lived in PC for over 20 years and F & L never disappoints. Eat In — Take Out — Delivery. Delivery Staff always friendly. Thank you Frankie & Louie’s for the yummy food & consistent service !!

Port Chester is teeming with Italian restaurants, from pizzerias to the elegant Tarry Lodge. Frankie and Louie is among those pizzerias that expanded to provide a dining room to the side. Among such places in Port Chester, F and L is my No. 1 favorite. My companion and I have eaten there dozens of times, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a disappointing meal there. Worthy of special mention is the lasagna, which I have used as a taste-test at most of the village’s Italian restaurants. F and L’s beats all other contenders, in my opinion – including those that target a more demanding and refined clientele. Overall, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. Although we don’t often order them, the pizzas are excellent too. My only complaint is that the service can be frustratingly slow at times.

Had dinner there last night… arrived at 5:45pm on a Sunday(called ahead for a reservation for a party of 7). Upon arrival there were only 2 other tables. Immediately sat down, drinks and hot crusty bread served promptly. Then… people started to arrive and our service stopped. There were two waitstaff… one that seem to take orders, and the other served bread and bussed tables. But, there were approximately 10 – 12 tables… all full. The servers were great, but were very slow. The management really needs to add additional waitstaff. Now the food… was WONDERFUL! We ate family style…3 entrees for 7 people was plenty. Penne Vodka, Chicken Scarpiello and Stuffed Rigatoni. Unfortunately, we REALLY wanted the Veal & Peppers over Bowtie Pasta… but they were out of Veal!!! We will definitely be back to this fabulous neighborhood restaurant !

Family dinner on Christmas Eve. New waitress, we missed Cindy. The new girl smiled and was friendly but our meals came out 1:45 after we ordered. Kids meals came out last(which is a pet peeve) and it was wrong. Side dishes came out 20 minutes after entrees and one was left out entirely. Very disappointed.

The penne vodka with chicken parmigiana and the lobster ravioli are me and my boyfriend’s favorites. Always a good experience.

Really tasty pizza but… Took an hour and fifteen minutes to deliver, so knocking off a star because of that and because the establishment seemed utterly indifferent to the fact that they were delivering an hour-old pie to me. Good thing I like reheated pizza(crispier crust). Ordered online and paid with PayPal. However, completing the transaction required another two phone calls — one from the delivery guy and one to the restaurant — to establish that I had, in fact, already paid for the pie and, apparently, WAY over-tipped!

Love it from start to finish. I had great mozzarella and tomato app(I am picky about my mozzarella), and a tasty Lobster Ravioli. My wife had spaghetti, it was so big that she had for lunch today! Loved it. We finished with a Titamasu that Louie made and it was awesome!

Wish I could give minus stars. I must have missed something the other diners got. Pizza was salty. Black angus Philly cheese steak wedge had the wrong cheese that tasted like processed cheese food out of a package not the mozzarella I ordered. The steak wasn’t real meat but Steakums. The chicken Francese was so-so but the sauce on the pasta tasted straight out of a can and was awful! Very bad first order for delivery. Won’t try that again.

This has been a neighborhood favorite for some time now. My Dad enjoys going there and the menu is pretty straight forward Italian. They do have daily specials and the portions are good. Its busy at Dinner time so book reservations or come early. They can seat large parties and is family friendly.

my dad discovered this place first and has made it a point to take a detour for dinner on the way through westchester county for years. it’s a tiny little joint that includes both a takeout pizza operation at the front and a pretty dining room off to one side. come early, or expect it to be packed by dinner. people want their carbo-loads. dinner starts with crusty bread hot from the oven and some good olive oil. last weekend, my boyfriend and i got a complimentary tomato bruschetta as well. i don’t feel qualified to comment on the menu as a whole, delicious as it looks, because i’ve never strayed from the veal or eggplant parm. but i have little desire to try anything else. the sauce is bright, fresh and tomatoey; the cutlets impossibly thin and fried crisp, and the whole deal is smothered in creamy, virginal mozzarella. it’s perfect. comes with a house salad or choice of pasta(with more sauce!) which is more than enough. one plate can easily feed two people, but it’s so good that you may not notice yourself just as easily scarfing the whole thing. try to share. if you can handle it, there’s also a dessert case showing off a variety of sweet thangs. all this will run you under $ 20 a plate, and lull you into a full tranquility that is probably dangerous when you’re getting back on the highway. who cares? it’s worth the risk. it’s also worth mentioning that there is a mini turtle pond by the front door, and that i like to imagine them eating pizza and pasta and practicing the ancient art of ninjitsu when everyone leaves the restaurant.
