I love this place. The only downside is a long wait and every once in a while they miss a taco. The tacos are wonderful tho definitely recommend the fish taco and porkbelly. DELICIOUS!

Absolutely love. My favorite restaurant. Food is phenomenal and service is good. Drinks are great too. Only complaint is the wait time, but that’s only because they are so good. Need another location in westchester.

Who doesn’t LOVE bartaco? The location is great, the prices are reasonable, and the vibe is always fun. Plus, the unique tacos are always DELICIOUS. I love their ordering system(you fill out a menu card and put it in a holder for your server — minimizes mistakes). Be prepared to wait though, especially on nice evenings. You can call thirty minutes before to reduce wait time, but you can honestly wait up to two hours for an outside table sometimes. Their texting system is nice though — once you check in with the host, you can click a link to see how many tables are ahead of you(which is helpful when you want to make a quick Costco trip to kill time)! Having been here well over a dozen times, I have had some issues with very inconsistent service, as well as inconsistency with how spicy certain items are. For example, sometimes the guacamole is perfect, other times it’s been so spicy it was almost inedible for someone like me who doesn’t tolerate spices well. I’ve also had certain tacos that are sometimes spicy, sometimes not. I’ve had items that were not supposed to be spicy come out very hot. That being said, I still frequently bring out of town guests here and very often will travel to this location even though the Stamford location is closer. The tacos are always so good. My favorites are the portobello, the fried oyster, and the pork belly. The chicken and spicy chorizo are a little too spicy for me. I also love the sesame ribeye and the baja fish taco. I love the duck as well but usually ask them to make it mild as it’s pretty spicy. I usually skip rice bowls — they’re so filling and the tacos are more fun. Guac is always pretty good, and I usually order the corn, which is covered in some kind of delicious crumbly cheese that pairs perfectly with the sweet corn and a dusting of spices. I love the spicy cucumber side — crisp and refreshing with just a mild spicy kick. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the churros or a sampling of ice cream cones. A fun, laid back place for a group — great for socializing and sharing food.

I love this place. Be prepared to wait, it can be a long one. No booking, but you can call 30 minutes before, otherwise the early bird catches the soft taco surrounded by alternatives and extras like guacamole. Two people can usually get a seat at the bar. The trick there is finding the couple at the bar already that look like they are on the last legs of their dinner. Who is going to pay the check first. Be careful, you will probably not be the only one looking for seats, this is positively Darwinian. I love the Tacos, a wide variety of soft small tacos. I usually eat four; but that is after eating a large guacamole, and two margaritas before eating. And of course having established yourself and your dining companion belly up to the bar on a comfortable stool. You are the winners of two seats to have dinner for two. It’s just the seat, and just because the food, margaritas, waterfront atmosphere are wonderful. I have waited almost an hour for a bar seat, and got a table first. I’ve also lucked out and walked onto one. The bar can be a bit of a squeeze. The tables are tight to. The tacos come in a mass of flavors, there’s a huge selection for the carnivores, I think a fish taco, a portobello mushroom, hmm, well their menu is all on here. I love everything a pesky pescetarian would like. Everyone that I, or my carnivore friends, have tried has been delicious. Incredible service. Swift. Efficient. Speaking of those margaritas. I like mine on the rocks, with salt. I know that doesn’t help my blood pressure but it just doesn’t seem a margarita to me without salt. Like cookies and cream! Bartaco make the gold standard margarita. I’ve been feverishly practicing, watch out guys I think I am getting the hang of this, that’s a lot of fresh limes I’m squeezing! I will find perfection, it just going to take ongoing practice. take a lot more practice. Arrive real early to get that table, preferably having called 30 minutes before. Otherwise other people who do will be ahead of you when you walk in the door. Enjoy yourself. I love this place.

Grabbed Sunday brunch here with some friends and their kids. I’ve heard good things about their food, which was good, and the place did have coloring books for the kids. While I enjoyed their food, tacos were all good, the acoustics makes this place very loud, especially if you sit in the back or near the bar. Suggest coming here with friends on a nice day and sit outside.

Excellent. We wanted get a bite near the water in Port Chester. Bartaco fit the bill. There is a nice deck with seating & a lively, date I say, hip, younger crowd. The taco selection was upscale gourmet and perfectly sized so you can try plenty of flavors. I tried Fried Oyster, Chorizo, Shrimp Bahn Mi & Mahi Mahi. All were simply great. The margaritas were nicely mixed. The place was crazy busy and a bit of a wait to get in on a Wednesday around 7:30pm. There is free parking nearby but it was packed as well. On street parking was reasonably priced and nearby as well and much easier to come by.

Bartaco is so solid. Another simple concept done right. The décor is awesome and the place is usually packed so it gives off a Hampton’s or waterfront vibe even though you’re only on the Byram River in PC. The tacos are great, I suggest the fish and duck.

Great restaurant by the water there is indoor and outdoor seating. For outdoors they have blankets available in case you get cold. They do not take reservations but if you call 30 minutes before you come in that will cut down on your wait time which I think is neat! For a Thursday night it was definitely busy but I got there after 8 pm so It was a bit calmer as time went by. I got a table right away which is awesome! The waiter was friendly he was very attentive and always checking in. The ordering system is different because you have to write down what your order is and the waiter will clarify the order and take it. The idea is great especially for big groups so there is no confusion or missed orders. For an appetizer I ordered the guacamole which is a must! Their guacamole is delicious creamy, a bit chunky and sometimes spicy!(I’m super sensitive to spice so it’s probably just me). Love! Then I ordered their fried oyster taco which is to die for! They put some form of tarter sauce I believe with cilantro and the fried oyster on a soft shell and it’s cooked to perfection! I went there just to have the oyster taco! My friend ordered the grilled corn and it came with cheese on top and she said it’s a bit spicy as well but she loves it! The drinks are amazing as well. I always get wine but my friends LOVE the coconut mojitos! We sat there for a while chatting ordering another round of drinks and they did not make us feel rushed which is great and they brought the check when they saw we were done. Very polite staff! It’s also find the price range to be good and fair! I recommend this restaurant it’s great for large groups!

Bar Taco is amazing. Everything about it is great. The food, the price, and the service. I have been here dozens of times throughout the years and the customer service/food quality is always up to par. My go to menu: Small tray– 6 fish tacos or duck tacos Sides– plantains, spicy slaw, corn (Skip the tamales) And their margaritas are amazing. My go to drink.

At first glance the place is trendy and cool even just to hang out kind of place. They have great customer service(just put a blue card up on table) where they come and help you with anything, including menu or deciding on what to eat… OMG! The 4 different tacos i ordered were all amazing the flavors exploded in my mouth. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft inside, the duck taco was shredded with a semi sweat taste all soft, the pork belly was crispy soft, the ribeye was lots of small delicious pieces. The corn was just right. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Last Saturday afternoon I was transported from Westchester to what felt like a California open lay out restaurant in come small cove off which people come to watch people surf. ok the surfing was largely inspired by the large almost life size photographs everywhere. which were refreshing to look at and some even fun. I was with a group of 10 people and for the size our ordering went semi smoothly, but in the end in good company all is well. The ordering system, filling out a card of what you want per side of the table or per person depending on the size of your party, was fun on the first round after that it could get a little on the tedious size, but again when you are in a great mood in nice and happy environment, and having delicious food, not much can turn you off. These stood out for me: Mahi-Mahi Ceviche(show me a place where you can buy ANY ceviche for $ 7 and I will be there in a jiffy) Pork Belly Taco Key Lime pie in a cup Mexican corn Mahi Mahi taco Expect a loud crowd at brunch and a wait, but the food will make it up to you!

Upscale fusion taco place and a solid 3.5 stars. Located a few miles from Greenwich, this place was happening during lunch with the local crowd. The menu has a good amount of choices in terms of meats that you can make platters of tacos with(Asian inspired beef, spicy chicken, fried fish etc.). The best value was the large platter, which gave us the choice of 10 tacos along with 2 tamales and 3 sides. Habanero sauce was also pretty great. Service was good and the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Thumbs up.

Love this place! Took my parents(who are picky when it comes to eating out) and they loved it. For hours they praised the food and talked about returning. The ambiance is amazing, the food(especially the tacos) are outstanding. I have not had a bad experience here. Will def return again soon.

I wish I could give a half star! 4.5 would be my rate! I’m taking off a star because of minuscule mishaps. Like 1. our order was missing food and at times the drink orders were taking quite a while to get to our table. But overall it’s a great place to hangout, unwind, eat & drink, talk loud and enjoy friends company. Our experience here included Delicious tacos; the Duck taco and Baja Fish taco are my Absolute favorite! Juicy and flavorful! Adding any of the many sauces or not the delicacy keeps you wanting more! The guacamole was also very tasty. It contained a perfect hint of spicy and a good portion size for 3 people depending on your love for guac. The drinks were thoughtfully made. I asked to have a coconut mojito instead of the original advertised one. They gracefully gave it a coconut twist and kaboom made myself and friends very happy. We did have lots of different food runners ask if they cud grab us anything but every other would forget our order and we would double order until we eventually received it. I like this place you can’t go wrong unless you wait too long for a table which is definitely a possibility. But if you land a table your as good as gold!

Fun place with good eats! Definitely a really popular place Friday nights! Been here a few times with co-workers and it has always been a great experience! So far I have tried the following: — Baja Fish Taco — Pork Belly Taco — Duck Taco — Shrimp Taco — Mahi Mahi Taco — Bartaco chopped salad — guacamole — mahi mahi ceviche — plantains — grilled corn — churros — spiced chocolate pudding all the tacos were great! Although I have to say that I like the baja fish one over the mahi mahi one, maybe cause it’s deep fried? :p The bartaco chopped salad is delicious! If you order that for yourself, you probably only need 2 – 3 tacos to go with it, especially if you start off with starters, which is a must! The guacamole, plantains and grilled corn is definitely a must order! end the meal off with some fresh made churros with chocolate dipping sauce!

This place NEVERFAILS! It was Sunday and beautiful(but a lil chilly). We walked and and it was crowded but we were seated right away! Our waiter was awesome, I think the kitchen got a little crazy because we got tacos we didn’t order but the waiter told us it was a mistake and to enjoy them! The customer service here never fails and I love that. Also I got a Pacifico… reminds me of my California days on my porch lol. The food is always on point — elote, tacos, churros! OMNOM! Lol We even got little taco tokens for next time– love this place and can’t wait to come back when the weather gets warmer.

This restaurant gets a strong 4 stars!!! First of all, I was greeted & seated by a super cool girl who was welcoming without being pushy or stuffy. It was like showing up at a friend’s house. Secondly, I sat outside and was instantly relaxed in the casual environment under the sun… Need that always!!! #SunPlease. My waitress was attentive and kind; knew all her info and didn’t stay away too long or come around too much. Perfect for me. I beat the lunch crowd so my vibe was chill. Now lastly: the food! So good, so fresh, and the prices are awesome! I had two chicken tacos and a fish taco, as well as corn on the cob, limeade, and churros. Each is served in a corn tortilla with few cilantro leaves and chopped onion. You’re advised to choose a sauce from the table ranging from mild, medium, and hot. Best sauce was the medium red sauce… Forgot the proper name. Grilled corn served Mexican style was delicious! You need it in your life– lime, some sort of chipotle cream sauce, cotija sprinkled on top… Took my sunny lunch right on to the next level. Limeade was fresh AF. A virgin margarita(IMO) so it’s work friendly: wink, wink:. I closed out my experience with churros that were perfectly crunchy on the outside and hot & fluffy on the inside. I love things that seem freshly made. I do wish there was caramel sauce instead of chocolate but they were still amazing. Def worth the trip to Port Chester! Dang good food, great vibes, friendly & attentive staff, and suuuuuper affordable. They’re not«the best taco I’ve ever had» and that’s the only thing that keeps them from 5 stars but I loved it here. I will be going again. This time with my husband. «Team Turnup, party of 2? Your table’s ready.»

Tacos and gelato? Whats not to like? Our friend lives right next to bartaco, and we have dropped by multiple times for either late night gelato, tacos or cole slaw cravings. Yea, their cole slaw is just that good! The setting is very relaxed and casual. I fell in love with the interior décor and atmosphere. For our first visit there, we ordered the guac and chips, chicken bowl, and we shared a whole plate selection of their tacos. My favorite has got to be the pork belly taco and baja fish taco. The chicken bowl was a little on the salty side, but it was still tasty. We ended the night with some gelato and it was delicious! The coconut flavored one was the best: P
