Fresh, healthy, great tasting food at very moderate prices. It’s possible to order half portions of nearly everything, so this is not the sort of restaurant that forces customers to over-​order/​-​pay/​-​eat.

I see why this Panera only has 3 stars. I stopped in for coffee this afternoon and had a ten minute wait while one harried cashier waited on a long line. She called a manager (who came out and surveyed the line, then walked back in the kitchen) twice. I asked from back in the line if that was a manager who looked at line & ignored it. She said yes. I requested a manager, who rather ungraciously, waited on me and several others. Not really the kind on service I’ve come to expect from Panera.

This Panera is my go-​to place for meetings or just to catch my breath. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is always fresh and good.

They are always sooo nice at this location. It’s always busy. Have afternoon meeting with doctors. Bringing treats for an afternoon pick me up.

I am a big fan of Panera and would normally rate a store a 5. However, this store is just not on the same level as many others that I have visited. I consistently have to wait longer for my food here than any other Panera location. In addition, the cashiers must turnover quite a bit as it also seems that they are new and my orders often have to be repeated.
My biggest issue is that when they are moving slow, I don’t see any urgency from the managers to get things back in track and get people out the door. I am hopeful things get better here.

Panera is always a great place to eat if you want something healthy. I stopped by here after shopping with my family right after Christmas. I felt guilty because I had been eating like a pig and wanted something low-​fat, LOL. They have a Thai salad here that fits that description nicely and is also very filling. Like most Panera’s, the service was very friendly and this location is not far from the Port Charlotte Mall if you are looking for some place to eat besides the mall’s food court.

I enjoy having a Panera in Port Charlotte. It is a great place to get a quick breakfast or lunch. I wish that I could write more about what I like here, but they do change out their menu items regularly and the things I like must not be that popular so I wind up having to order new foods. While the food is never stellar, it is always good and makes life a tad easier.
I do wish that their WiFi actually worked.
