We recently completed a major replacement of the carpeting in our home. We found Friendly Floors from a neighbor’s recommendation. As it turns out, that was a very good thing. We visited the showroom where we looked at plank style tile flooring and a new all vinyl wood look composite that turned out to be perfect for our needs. The sales staff was very helpful with no pressure! We took a sample plank home to see how it looked in our home then we completed the order. The installer was excellent. He worked around our needs since we had an unexpected house guest during the install. He worked cleanly and made sure all area’s of the house were accessible each evening. They disposed of the old carpeting and padding and installed new molding where the flooring met the wall. We are 100% satisfied with the entire flooring process from Ashley and Friendly Floors. You can be sure, they will be our first and only call for any future flooring needs.

Let me start out by saying I highly do not recommend ordering anything from this particular store in Port Charlotte. In August of 2014 I went in here by my own accord because I wanted to support the small businesses in the area and they were run by all females and I thought great what an opportunity. That was the worst mistake and decision I have ever made. The staff was friendly as the name the notes, however after the tile in the initial deposit was taken everything went downhill. Long story short the gentleman who actually installed the tile when away for a few weeks and they hired a third-party gentleman who installed my tile in a rather bad way and he installed a grout that he was not familiar with which by the way I paid an enormous amount of money cuz it was sold as an upgrade to me and it never really worked it was a waste of money. the only reason I knew there was a problem was because the third party installer came back to my home is that I cannot in good conscience leave without fixing your tile and then from that point it went back and forth from manager to me, manager to me, not taking my calls, ignoring me, sending home along with the manager and try to look at the tile fix the tile and get the terrible cement glaze that the installer left all over the tile. Yes they did offer to pay for some type of cleaning but I said no I did not want to pay the remaining balance because I was not happy and she refused that offer so I paid over $ 7,000 and wasted my money and I ended up selling that really because I just couldn’t live there anymore. I can tell you I got much better service from my local Home Depot in Port Charlotte they did a phenomenal job installing tile and carpet with no hassles for about half the price. I hope this reaches to everybody and you make an informed decision and you get several estimates and you ask questions ask who exactly is going to be installing my tile and are they hired by you or are they a third-party vendor. good luck and good riddance
