Charlotte Harbor Barber Shop

I haven’t been to this place in a few years since I moved out of town but I highly recommend this place to any guy that is looking for a great haircut (I don’t think they cut ladies hair). This place is an old-​school barber shop, if you don’t like talking about sports while you are getting your haircut, this place may not be for you, LOL. I don’t know if he still works there but Dave used to cut my hair and he does a really good job and is a nice guy on top of that. I think this place is good for all ages, I used to see a lot of mothers bringing their younger children in here to get their hair cut and the guys always were really good with the children. I wouldn’t go in here on a Saturday morning though, there is usually a line coming out the door. I can’t say enough good things about this place; I used to drive from a town 30 minutes away to get my hair cut here.

I have been coming here since 1995. That’s 15 years. OMG… I’m an old man! For the most part, I recognize everyone that is here and I continue to return when I need a haircut in town. This shop harkens back to the way barber shops used to be. This may be one case where all of the retired folk helped preserve a fairly nice barbershop. While I no longer request Izzy as my barber, you will see his name everywhere. If you are willing to make an appointment you should be able to see him. He is very popular with the younger crowds as he is quite good at what he does even though he has been at the store since 1995. Any of the barbers, though, will do an astounding job and you will leave pleased.
You must let them use the hot shaving cream as well as the massage machine. It is tradition.
