I just finished a weeklong stay here, and I applaud Holiday Inn for their service. The rooms were kept up like clockwork, and the complementary breakfast and coffee was a Godsend. In addition, their facilities are well-maintained, they’re complementary toiletries definitely came in handy, and their room was very comfortable for an extended stay. All the while, the staff took care of you with a smile on their face. Their décor also seemed very high style, something you would see at a much pricier hotel. Hats off!

The Port Arthur Holiday Inn Express is the best option in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms have plenty of room. The front desk is not staffed very well as I have arrived multiple times and had to ring bells and wait for service. The work out room is incredibly sparse. The cookies are only out half the time.

BOOOOOOO! Very rude and unprofessional front desk clerk. Woman named MYESHA called my room at 12:09 and checkout time was at noon. She very rudely said what time are you checking out? I said noon. And before I could apologize she interrupted with the time is now 12:10THANKYOU. In a stern condescending tone I was so shocked and angry I hung up the phone. I have never been treated like that. I WILLNEVERSTAYATTHATHOTELAGAIN!!! Then there was a huge confrontation in the lobby!!!

Nice place. Empty and quiet on the Friday night we stayed. Checkin was a little slow, but room was spotless. Decent Bkft menu. Fitness room was tiny with only 2 small tmills, 1 seated bike, &1 elliptical. No weights. No TV? Starbucks &IHOP are close. Hit the Marble Slab Creamery(0.5 mile away) if you have a sweet tooth. $ 113 for 2 queens on

Great Hotel with very clean Rooms and friendly Service. Hotel is not older than a few years. Internet was very slow and not really usable. That why I only give 4 stars.

Do NOT stay here! My brother woke up with bed bug bites and reported them In person to the front. The clerk disregarded his complaint. When he got upset, she told him she was going to call the police and have him removed from the property! My brother is a 67 year old man who has owned and operated a famous, successful. restaurant in downtown Houston. He would never act aggressively. The way he was treated was totally unforgivable! We will never stay at this hotel again.

Had to travel to my hometown for a funeral. So I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express and was fretting my stay. Well let me say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very new. Matter of fact, it still smells new, rooms and all. Now I won’t be some apprehensive to stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Don’t confuse the Express with a regular Holiday Inn. Probably same company but the Expresses I believe are newer.

The service was efficient at the front desk. The room was clean and smelled good. I will be honest, with all the oil guys in town I sometimes wonder if the rooms at hotels in Port Arthur will always be clean. Holiday Inn Express was wonderful though. The beds are nice and comfy, and everything about the room feels very modern and up to date(as I would expect at a nearly brand new hotel) The location is good, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. I recommend Tokyo with dessert at Rao’s. The only downside… elevators that are slow as hell!
