Limited selection. Cold hot fudge, imitation whipped cream, cheap spoons, otherwise ok.

Good ice cream, generous portions, lots of toppings and ice cream drinks. We stopped by during the off season(early November) while they were hard at work on intense maintenance. I have to appreciate the hardworking ladies of this beach town.

Cute place! I’ve never had an issue with staff. The ice creams choices are basic but there is lot to choose from and in my opinion you get a lot for what you’re buying. Nice spot for families or to have a cute date. This place is cash only so just keep that in mind as well.

Fun atmosphere with interesting art and memorabilia from India. Nice staff. Unfortunately, the ice cream was not very good. I had a scoop of coffee with hot fudge. The ice cream was grainy and too sweet. The hot fudge was cold and tasted a little plastic-y. My wife had cookies and cream which she didn’t care for either. Oh well. It’s an ice cream shop and everyone in there was enjoying themselves. That’s the main purpose. 3-stars for intent.

Have what I want but they have cleaned the machine and won’t serve their famous warm brownie sundae because they are 15 minutes from closing. There is a long line of customers and they charge a small fortune, clean after closing like all other restaurants do. Their comment was come earlier! BITEME!

Eclectic décor, friendly service with a smile, so many choices to choose from and HUGE serving sizes! What’s not to love? Any of the brownie sundaes are big enough to share and the milkshakes are made with real ice cream. All of it is delicious. Five of us went and all of us were extremely happy with our choices. We did have to wait in line a little bit but it just gave us more time to figure out what we wanted. Besides, we’re on island time ;)

Plenty of seating, inside and out. I thought it was going to be someplace different in consideration to their ice cream choices but it’s really not. The only thing that was uniquely different(and a little weird) was that they had huge murals of their dogs on one wall and there was such a mixture of décor, I was left confused.

Stopped by for ice cream just before closing. This was my first time here. Lots of interesting choices, so it was hard for me to decide. My husband and I ending up «splitting» a banana split. Three large scoops of ice cream with ample toppings of whip cream and nuts. Plenty to fill both of us. Three employees working. The line moved rather quickly. Kid friendly place. Checkers on one table, smaller«kid» table, foos ball machine. We’ll be back.

A youthfully eclectic ice cream shop whose service does not live up to its cheerful ambience. With a long line of sun drenched tourists it was disheartening to see the lone somber worker making orders with hardly a smile or courtesy to be made. The hot cherry pie with ice cream was delicious and filling though and that alone would make this venue worth a second visit. Slightly pricey but that is to be expected from the only ice cream besides Dairy Queen. Cash only!

Loved this place. Great decorations and ice cream was a great treat and not too bad of a price. Glad we stopped in.

Nice ice cream shop. Plenty of seating. Cash only. There were 3 young ladies working the counter. One who was on the ball, the 2nd was ok and the 3rd seemed lost. It got busy after dinner time and they seemed to keep it moving. Luckily we had the first employee. They have typical ice cream flavors you can get at the store. The difference is the ice cream is used in large portions in sundaes, banana splits and such. Husband got the smores sundae and really enjoyed it.

Awful service. Soooooo slow! We ordered a hot fudge Sunday with no whip cream and got asked«no ice cream?». We had to repeat the type of ice cream 3 times before they got it right. Then our hot fudge was congealed. Not warm. Not good. I do not recommend this place at all.

This is a pretty cool place for ice cream. Their brownie sunday is amazing! It is cash only, and the ATM was broken, so watch out for that. My only complaint is that it’s cash only, seriously it’s 2015 – how do you only take cash? The place has several tables and games like checkers, which is perfect when enjoying a cone or sundae.

We had a great time in Port A and finished it off with gigantic and fabulous shakes today! This place is absolutely adorable! Our kids loved playing checkers while enjoying their treats. :)

Meh. It’s just okay. On the bright side there is a lot to read: on the walls, tables, floors and around the shop. After Amy’s in Austin, nothing holds a candle. Not even a smoking match.

Fun stop, Blue Bell and pie, but expensive. This looks like a good hangout for kids and is located right next to Eats. Giant checkers, a mini magnetic dart board and other diversions made DI look like a fun stop. We came by after dinner and had a couple of shakes. One of the girls working there recommended the coffee shake with caramel, which I ordered. My wife had the peanut butter and banana. The shakes were made with Blue Bell ice cream, but unfortunately were nothing special. The pies looked good and I probably should have had a piece instead. Cash only, but there is an ATM. Thank goodness I had the cash, since I would feel foolish paying those ATM fees for ice cream. The total was $ 11.50 for the shakes. There are other options on the island. I think we will try something different next time.

Everything you could want in a ice cream place — including an amazing 12 different flavors! Well, unless they’re out of half of them. But that’s ok because the girl behind the countet amuses herself by laughing every time you ask for another flavor they don’t have. And she’s more than willing to scrape ice crystals off the bottom of a container and call it a scoop. She doesn’t bother you with insignificant questions about whether you want a bowl or cone, either. The fun doesn’t end there. Then you get to try and find a seat not taken by one of a hundred teens, of whom almost 5 were eating ice cream.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The service was absolutely TERRIBLE! First off they were fighting behind the counter. I then placed my order for a $ 6 hot brownie sunday that was sloppily made, and then it tasted completely awful! I told the older lady there that I didn’t like it and she glared at me while saying, «what’s wrong with it?». I said I just dont like it and she said, «well you are the first in ten years so…» She did give me a VERY small cup of ice cream worth $ 3 after I asked for it, but refused to give me any of my $ 6 back! I work in customer service and that was completely unprofessional! This establishment is terrible. I will never go back!!! Don’t waste your money.
