The bowling alley was almost full on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily, we had called ahead to reserved lanes. They offer different price packages with and without food. We had a large group and they helped us figure out the best deal for us. Everyone had a good time so we’ll probably be back since this is the only bowling alley in the area.

Had a great time bowling at Laurel Lanes on a rainy Saturday afternoon. This isn’t a very large bowling alley, and since it’s the only one around for 60+ miles in any direction it seems to be a pretty popular place. We were lucky to get a lane here at all! Laurel Lanes has been recently modernized with big LCD monitors and auto-bumpers– pretty cool stuff. We were bowling with a couple of small children(there were a LOT of kids here at the time), and I loved that the computer raised the bumpers for the kids’ turns and lowered them for the adults automatically. I had never seen that feature before, and now I think it should be mandatory ;-) The snack bar here has pretty much what you’d expect: fried food, pizza, soda, and such. They don’t have any beer on tap, but there are several bottles to choose from. There’s also a(tiny!) pro shop, and drilling service is available.

Only bowling alley in the area to survive. No choice otherwise. It does well because there’s a lot of bowling addicts in the area. They recently remodeled and updated the lanes and it looks good. They sell beer, wine and food but its never consistent in quality or temperature. They offer free popcorn during league bowls. Service is friendly in the entire place. Parking is on the street or empty business lots across the streets. Open 7 days a year and most days of the year. Kids and groups are welcome. They have Lottery, Pull-Tabs and a few Arcade games besides bowling. This is Port Angeles nightlife almost any night of the week.
