Best doughnuts on the peninsula. Not a lot to choose from here anyways, but they make delicious doughnuts. Bavarian cream is my favorite. If they sell out before noon on some days they must be good.

Very good donuts and coffee! The donuts have a pretty light and soft texture. They do have a good variety if you get there right when they open, as this is the best time to go. The coffee is locally-sourced and pretty good if you get a change to try it. My personal favorite is the Maple Bacon Bar, the glaze on those is so delicious with little sprinkles of real bacon-bits.

Stopped in here on the way to the ferry. Solid donuts but nothing special. By 9am the selection was already quite limited.

Came to the town for camping trip, passed by this cute store. So I was thinking who can resist doughnuts? So I went in got some donut holes and w butter stick… OMG, the moment I put the donut holes in my mouth, I felt I was in heaven… I’ve never had delicious tasty donut like this! Home owned small store really have good stuff! They only accept cash and check though.

In the Pacific NW it seems like everyone’s in the donut race… from Portland to Port Angeles you could enjoy a tour de donut that would make you fat and happy. This place is a four-star; not the best donuts you’ll ever eat, but in my top-five for the NW. They serve the dense, cakey donuts, and they serve the fluffy, light, fried dough puppies. They’re all good. The frosting doesn’t taste artificial, and it isn’t overly heavy. And, they make the speciality twists, bear claws, and other pastries for the freaks out there who haven’t risen to donut-purist status. (It’s okay, everyone has their shortcomings…) Grab a box of these babies and a couple cold milks… then walk your soon-to-be fat butt down to the waterfront three blocks down and indulge in the deliciousness. Protect your donuts from seagulls and bums at all costs… you’re gonna want every bite. Word of warning for all you modern-day folk: this place is CASHONLY. But the upside? 5 donuts and 2 milks ran us only $ 8 and change… so you can have some coins for one of the guys sleeping on the park bench. Karma is real.

Love the donuts and service! Just wish they would get bigger boxes :(I don’t like chocolate and maple frosting all over the bottom of my cinnamon roll. Besides that definitely recommend them!

By far the best doughnuts in town. and the only locally owned doughnut shop, other then the grocery stores. Be sure to come in on Friday’s to try the banana chocolate chip fritters. They also make special seasonal doughnut for most holidays and do special orders. The owner is nice a friendly, and has a smile to greet you. Her shop was also featured on one of the Cooking channels’ programs about how she makes the doughnuts and started her own business. Give them a try, if you love doughnuts as much as I do, you won’t be disappointed! I sometimes wish they were large enough to provide seating, but it’s only a walk in to go place. It is cash or local check only, but they have an ATM inside for your convenience.

These donuts are worth busting any diet. These are real donuts, not just fried dough. The chocolate frosted are awesome.

My husband would go back to this donut shop tomorrow morning if he could — and we’re now back in NY! This is a gem of a donut shop. Great donuts, good coffee and wonderful service!

Mmmmmm! I have never been a fan of jelly filled donuts until I’ve had the raspberry jelly donut here. People probably buy donuts at Safeway for co-workers or church meetings, but buy donuts at Cockadoodle for themselves. It’s that much better than Safeway. They open and close early, but I’d they sell out before the closing time, they don’t make anymore.
Tasty doughnuts. Sent my husband to grab a variety when we were in town. The buttermilk bar and lemon filled were good… so good I wanted them to be bigger. He had a twisty raised and it was gone before i could taste it. No blueberry cake doughnuts in January — maybe they are seasonal. I’ll try for those again when we visit next time.

This darling«doughnut hole-in the wall» has just the right variety and even gluten free items. Plus dang good coffee. Just around the corner from the ferry. Fresh and friendly! When I am on a rare indugence of now forbidden yummies I am heading here!

The bacon maple bar was melt-in-mouth delicious with yummy bacon chunks that were crispy enough but still had a little mouth-watering pork gristle. Also had the blueberry cake doughnut which was tasty but overly sweet. We’re going back to taste the bear claws which are available with peach or apple with maple glaze — yum!

Cute little bake shop right around the corner from the ferry. Open early enough to grab and go. Worth checking out. I have not tried the maple bacon bar, but it is definitely on my to-do list.

A little disappointed by this place. My best friend and I stopped by on our way through town from Seattle and not only were they out of most of their selection but the ones we did end up getting, they weren’t anything impressive, just average doughnuts.

Per the suggestion of Gabriel A., the hubby and I stopped here in the morning before hopping on the ferry to Victoria. They had a great selection of delicious looking doughnuts and the girl working behind the counter was quite friendly. They had typical doughnuts(think chocolate frosted, etc.) and some unusual ones(PB&J, maple bacon). We grabbed some and ate them on the ferry and they were so great. I was quite pleased with the doughnuts. The coffee was a bit weak, but that is probably just preference. If you’re in PA or catching the ferry, I’d definitely suggest grabbing a snack here! Just a note — CASHONLY!

How can you not go to a place called cock-a-doodle doughnuts? Never mind the review I just wrote where I turned down fries to forestall inevitable obesity… I’m getting me some donuts. Went on on a lazy Friday morning, before heading back to the airport, and had a caramel apple fritter, a maple cake donut, and a cup of coffee. The donuts were good, although not warm — I should have been up earlier if I had wanted that. I did appreciate the caramel icing on the fritter. And reading other reviews, I need to have something called the«buttermilk bar.» The coffee was standard coffee, although they do have an «extra caffeine» variety called«fog lifter.» And it was served in violation of the laws of physics — so hot it was actually emitting it’s own light. About 60 minutes later, it was drinkable, and it did the job. I’ll be back, there’s more to try.
