I know the view is ehh, but who cares, I just need a place to sleep and this place has a 5 stars. And for me the cleanness is a must. So they did a great job with these; bathroom is very clean. I think they changed the toilet seat or they use a special laundry for toilet seat. Second, the AC is convenient to adjust it, so I don’t have a problem while I slept. Third, they have a nice service! I talked with the owner(I believed), he suggested me with some good stuffs. Fourth, bedroom is clean too, no dust and clean sheets and clean blankets. The owner is a clean person(I could tell), I’ve watched him while I had a breakfast and he cleaned the dining room by himself, even though he could clean it after the breakfast time. Fifth, free continental breakfast! I’ve had ham & egg muffin and it was good(he put in the fridge, so some people don’t recognize it I guess). Sixth, it’s cheap! So my suggestion, if you were kind of OCD person(lol) like me, this motel is great to stay at because some motel are very dirty!

I wish I could give this place less than one star, as this was probably the worst experience I ever had staying at a motel. The owner/manager was flat out rude to me and got into two arguments with me during the stay. The first concerned me reserving the room through , and he wanted to argue about the reservation, making it very clear that he was not pleased with that booking system; I really had no argument to make and simply wanted to just pay for my room, but his attitude was a huge red flag. The second argument concerned an age lock on the TV in our room. The age lock on our TV only allowed us to watch television shows with a rating of TV14 and below, so I called the the owner/manager to ask him if this could be unlocked, as the TV prompted for a PIN when I wanted to watch basically anything that comes on TV/cable after 6:00pm. He immediately said there was nothing he could do about, indicating this was a problem he already knew about. I asked him how he was unable to do anything about it since it was his cable operating system. He then asked me, «what are you trying to watch?» To make a long story short, the conversation degraded quickly into a full argument; if I had not already paid directly to this inappropriate man, I would have just left this motel for good. Finally, the room was dirty(e.g. the microwave had not been cleaned in who knows how long), the comforter on the bed had holes in it, and there was no security lock on the door.

I have no idea how this place has 3.5 stars. Some brief highlights: 1) Only a handle lock. It appears the chain was RIPPEDOFF and never replaced. 2) Crunchy white stuff on bedspread. I am not picky but that was enough for me to decide not to return, ever. Just consider yourself warned.

This should be an A-OK three-star budget motel, but it isn’t. No coffee maker, no refrigerator, no security lock on the door, no blackout curtains on an east-facing window(5am bright sunshine), no continental breakfast, weak wifi internet, not completely cleaned bathroom, somewhat dirty sheets, wall outlets which did not work, etc… And Bullwinkle is not a picky guy. For $ 50−60/night he expects only a clean room with basic hotel functions(see above, and we could even leave out the breakfast/refridge) but clean and functional is necessary for A-OK three stars. Quite simply, the ‘bang for the buck’ is lacking and in a budget motel that’s what it’s all about. That said, the walls are thick enough to mute out most sounds nearby… I don’t think I’m asking for too much here. Meh.

A group of us were on a motorcycle trip into Canada in July 2012. We were staying the night in Port Angeles and a friend picked this hotel. It is inexpensive and small. But it was all we needed. The rooms smelled a little stale but were clean. We had an unexpected thunderstorm the night we were there. The manager was great in bringing us towels/rags to wipe down our bike before we even asked. He also supplied us with garbage bags to cover our luggage as we hadn’t packed for rain since there wasn’t any forecasted when we had looked! Kudos to the manager for his service and hospitality.

Great bang for the Buck, only recommend if you want to save some money or are in town for work. If you are on vacation spring for a nicer place. The hotel is clean, the manager/owner bought a fridge for our room because we asked for one while staying for 5 weeks for work.

Got here tired at 11 pm on a Sunday after a long drive around the Olympics. The elderly gentleman behind the desk was still sharp as a tack and checked us in pronto. Despite reputation as a budget hotel, it’s clean, comes with breakfast and friendly service in a town in flux.

This is a budget motel, that also has weekly rentals. The rooms are very small. Flat television on the wall. Fridge and micro. All are non smoking. There is a free computer, and printer in the lobby. Some of the residents are questionable. But the walls are thick. Location is excellent. Near the center of town, and waterfront trail.

Great for it’s value. For $ 60, you can’t ask for a more clean, well-equipped motel. The bathrooms were clean, flat screen with cable was very nice. Convenient location(right near the entrance to Hurrican Ridge). The room had a «motel smell» in the beginning, but you get use to it.
