Agnew Grocery

Love the Agnew grocery. They have a little bit of everything, but it is the right items. Love the folks there and the home town feeling of the farm store.

5 star just because… I always swing by every month or so, say hi to their goat, cat, bunny, and chickens. Great wine selection and I love the old trucks they have. Nice little farm stop on the way.

I stopped in at Agnew’s Feed & Market on a Sunday afternoon to check out an old farm supply store and pick up something to drink for the drive back to Seattle. I couldn’t predict what a surprise this unassuming old market turned out to be. The proprietor, a guy named Chris, has stocked an outstanding wine, ale, cider & soda collection favoring about 50% Washington State and 50% great stuff from somewhere else. The grocery aisle is stocked with high quality, reasonably priced, good food that you actually want to buy. Local grass fed beef, creamy raw milk from Sequim, lean shoulder bacon, raw local honey, Jose’s killer salsa from Sequim, german toothpaste tube rotte/​weiss and mustard, the list goes on. Top it off with an in-​house personal shopper, friendly and volup Joanne, and it is easy to explain the 20+ happy customers who dropped in over 45 minutes on a drizzly weekend afternoon. Highly recommend if you are in the Sequim area.
