Jalapeno’s

Been going to this restaurant almost every Friday night since we heard about it. Service is friendly and very good even though they could know the menu a little better. The best things about this place are the Margaritas… best we’ve had in Michigan, and the food starting with the three amazing salsas and chips that are brought to the table when you arrive (you can buy them to take home). Our favorites are the California Burrito and the enchilades verde. If you want food for the week order the nachos grande. The trip to Jalapeño’s takes you through a rough neighborhood but it is well worth it. The restaurant is clean and very well run. I have no idea why this place isn’t packed all the time. And did I mention that the margaritas were huge, with one very satisfying and two almost dangerous. Good job!!!

We frequently go to Jalapeño’s ever since someone turned us on to this out of the way restaurant. First of all the place is very clean and service is quite good. The food from the 3 different salsas and warm chips that arrive before your order is taken thru the entrees are exquisite. I’ve had most of the items on the menu except the soups and desserts and I really have a hard time picking out the one I like the best. As we travel, I review in my head what I’m going to order. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but I get jazzed thinking about it. We have long ago given up on Sagebrush and pledge our allegiance to Jalapeño’s. Muy Bueno!

Born n raised in SW Detroit around all the Mexican joints. Dad n grandma cooked up a storm when it came to Mexican food. When I moved to Oakland county I was die’n for GOOD Mexican cook’n. THANK GOODNESS FOR JALAPEÑO’s. Best in the area. Good service and the owner is always happy to see ya.
