Sun Far Restaurant

One of the best Chinese places around. Awesome scallion pancakes and orange chicken. Love this place always stop in when in the area.

Not a bad find… It reminds me of a NYC take-​out type Chinese food place… Very small and narrow restaurant, if you even want to consider it a restaurant… More like a takeout only place. Food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. They also offer delivery, but they are looking for help on that, so if you order delivery, plan on it taking a bit longer than expected… The only drawback was they either forgot the wonton chips or they only give them to you if you ask… They are pretty yummy dipping them into sweet and sour sauce :-) The wife and I will order again from here.

Can’t believe they charge $ 1 extra to brown the rice in roast pork fried Rice what a rip off

This is a preliminary review, which I will update later on.
Ask first glance, this take out establishment is nothing more than what we use to call in new york city, a hole in the wall. But opening the door, reveals more. A lot more.
The menu at Sun Far is varied, including a goodly number of Szechuan dishes, as well as others that can be seasoned in Szechuan style. On our first visit there, I got a wonderful vegetable and bean curd soup. The broth was clear, but nice and rich, and it had generous amounts of creamy tofu and crisp vegetables. We also tried the Szechuan wonton. I asked for these to be gently steamed, which they did. The dressing was a wonderfully rich and spicy Szechuan sauce.
The only negative, was some crispy fried noodles which were provided with the soup. these turned out to be a bit oily, but they remained crisp in soup. Overall we liked both the food and the very cheerful accommodating service at Sun Far.
Chinese eateries are competitive. This is one that us doung a great job.

Best Chinese food in town. However, there hot&sour soup is sometimes really good and sometimes sucks. everything else is amazing though!
