I am sorry to say that I am very unhappy with Fireside Furniture. We purchased a table from their tent sale and I do understand you buy as is, however they special ordered it from the manufacture so it should still have some type of warranty. The table will not close or open easily and is stuck open in my dining room. I spoke to Mike the manager this morning and he suggested we take the table apart in order to get it to close! As we are handy people and have tried to do this in the past, we still cannot get the table closed and feel that it warrants a service call from Fireside Furniture to see what is going on. Mike gave me attitude like you bought it you fix it, he also suggested we pay someone to fix the table. In the end, he said he would have someone call us next week in order to see what can be done(we will see if I get that call). We were planning on purchasing a new living room set, but now question if we should. Penny’s has much better service.

The salesperson Cindy was absolutely amazing !! However when the couch arrived it was nothing like the one in the showroom. The showroom couch was very firm. The final product that was delivered makes you feel like you’re sitting on the ground. Pauline is the service manager we were directed to. She is very abrupt-unprofessional– and rude. Her attitude is «I don’t know what to tell you » They sent an upholstery tech out to look at the furniture. 25 years in the business his exact words«I have been doing this for 25 years and never seen anything like this«. So now Ms Pauline wants to come out and look at it. Right now I have a $ 2500 piece of furniture that has been used once !!! Very bad — and unprofessional way to run a business.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The manger Mike is rude and not helpful at all. I called this shop to inquire about a piece that I found on the web, they had listed Fireside as one of their dealers. Mike told me that I should guess the price and that I was barking up the wrong tree. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this shop there are far better places to shop.

If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased two identical end tables and one cocktail table at a good price(I’ll give them that). We were asked if we wanted delivery and declined. Then this obnoxious«manager» who later claimed to be the owner forces his way into our private conversation and says«Are you sure you don’t want to have this delivered by a professional?» His tone was loud and condescending. Again we declined but shook our heads in disbelief on how rude this guy was. We agreed to pick up on Tue since that was their once/week«Pickup Day». Seemed strange that pickups were only once per week but so be it. Now the worst part. We arrive on Tuesday and our furniture is open outside the box but only one end table is the correct one. The second table was the wrong table that we specifically said we did not want because it was too small. The salesperson came up to us and enthusiastically said to us «How’s it look?» I told her«Not good» as the product was incorrect. The answer she gave was«Oh the warehouse sent the wrong one». At no point did she apologize. Then«Mr Obnoxious» comes out and wants to play Let’s Make a Deal. He’ll deliver it to us at no charge. I said 1st let me inspect the product. After noticing that one of the doors was misaligned on the end table where there was a gap close to ½ and inch on the top when closed, I asked if that could be adjusted. He said, «We’ll if you want to get out your magnifying glass, you can find a problem with anything. Wood is wood you know it breathes». Being in the furniture business myself for many years, I knew at that point that this«Manager» had no clue and was simply use industry buzz words. He did not know how to make a simple adjustment and«didn’t know» if the adjustable hinges could be adjusted. At this point we decided to go home out of the frustration of dealing with this rude incompetent moron. We went home and called up to cancel our order. Never will we shop at «Firesleaze Furniture» again!

Wide selection and helpful staff. I usually deal with Mike but they are all nice and not nearly as pushy as most furniture stores, plus none of the parking hassles of the malls.
