Alure Hair Designs

I’ve been going to Alure for years and I really love it there. I started going to Joan about six years ago after I received another poor dye job and haircut at a different salon. My mom directed me to go to Joan to get my hair fixed and I am so glad I listened. My mom and sister had both been going to Joan for awhile (my sister actually leaves NYC to come home and get her hair done by Joan) and had even followed her when she moved salons. So I went to Joan and she fixed my cut and my color and I was so happy. I’ve been going back to her ever since because she does my highlights beautifully EVERY time – never any gaps or chunks. I made the terrible mistake once of using a gift certificate to another salon to get highlights. I realized how much I appreciate Joan’s amazing work because this «fancy» salon that charges twice what Alure does had a colorist that left my hair looking streaky and fake. I ended up going to Joan to get it fixed! The salon is laid back, the other women that work there are all friendly and funny, and I always enjoy going there. And Joan is just a great, friendly person in general. Love Alure, won’t go anywhere else!

Only been here once so far, but was extremely happy with the results.
