We order takeout from Tony’s all the time. The wraps are really good. My favorite is the eggplant wrap, but the chipotle wrap was over the top hot and was almost impossible to eat. At first I questioned how they can make Mexican and Italian food, but all their food is pretty good.

So disappointed in Tony’s. We received a delivery of a burnt pizza, and when I called I was placed on hold only to be hung up on. I called back to listen to a giggle, and to be placed on hold again. We will not order from here again

Been eating Tonys since I was 8. Ownership has changed but for the better. Owner cares about his customers and produces quality. I no longer live in town but we always treat ourselves now and again for lunch or pick a pie up and drive home to west milford

My go to local pizza spot. They have great food and delicious Mexican food as well. The owners themselves are Mexican which adds to the authenticity of that food. The one thing that I was not the biggest fan of was their Mexican pizza. It just didn’t work for me. But I’ve had the Tony’s special many times and just tried the chicken parm pizza. The owners are very friendly and always put out a good product.

Thought we’d give this place a go since I wanted Mexican and Italian for everyone else. Read the reviews and seemed a good choice until… We get there and it’s BYOB which we didn’t know. Not a big deal. One server really busy. Several of our mussels in the appetizer were closed. Hubby got a sausage and pepper sub that he said was good. Kids got chicken fingers and broccoli and garlic/olive oil. TONS of oil. My enchilada was ok. Rice liked. like white rice with ketchup.

it’s a very unassuming place when you walk in but don’t let that fool ya! The food is very good. Our favorite are the fajitas and chicken parm dinner(huge portion) The specials aren’t always my favorite but not bad. We go at least once a month.

This place has some good pizza. The Buffalo chicken pizza, and white pizza are the best here. Wash that down with a Snapple or a water and you are good to go. I have come here about 5 times already and this place doesn’t disappoint. I want to try the main dishes just to see How it is. Hopefully next time I can try. I definitely recommend this place.

Pizza pies are the real thing. They are the kind of pies I remember as a kid… large and flavorful. They definitely don’t skimp on the ingredients. Great customer service also. The first time I ordered a pie here, the owner thanked me by name. I was impressed. That’s someone who is genuinely trying to please his customers. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Good review after good review after good review couldn’t make up for a terrible meal tonight. A friend and I stopped in for a light meal… Spinach ‘Crostini,’ Large Italian Salad, and an Eggplant Parm. Sandwich. We were splitting it all. Waitress was friendly enough. A party of eight or so was just leaving. There was another table of two, but they were finished and just talking. The Crostini came and were pretty good. They could have been a little less gooey, but that’s not a major complaint. The ‘roasted’ red peppers included were. Straight from a jar, they tasted much closer to those vinegary red peppers that make you scrunch your face. We were offered a side of ‘marinara’ for dipping, but this reminded me of a dish of canned tomatoes which had been heated up. On to the salad… Chopped iceberg with a few more of those peppers, some olives, a few peperoncini, and covered with sliced pepperoni! The balsamic dressing was overpowering, but seemed a better choice than others, which the waitress told us, come in squeeze pouches. Between the two of us, we probably ate three-quarters of it. The eggplant sandwich was that rare combination of glob(eggplant) and glop(cheese). Throw in completely soaked-through bread and I was finished after one bite. The waitress came by to ask how things were and I asked her to take the sandwich. «I don’t like this at all.» Didn’t warrant a comment and certainly not a reduction on the check. I know that others rave about this place. It was terrible. That sandwich was the first thing in my life that I couldn’t /wouldn’t eat. One Star based on ½ Star not being available.

Crispy hot delicious calamari, eggplant Parma and Rolatine excellent and the Chicken Francaise over Angela hair pasta could not taste any better! Delicious and would definitely return. Heard the calzones are very good too

Service was TERRIBLE! On a Saturday night, even for a small restaurant, they need more than one server. The food was mediocre so it didn’t even make up for it. I will not be back at all to this place. For 2 people, ordering 2 entrees and an appetizer, it shouldn’t take 1.5 hours. We even had to get our menus ourselves! Also, the place was VERY noisy. NOT recommended.

This is just one of those places you can’t argue with me about! I grew up on it and I always grab a slice when I am home for a visit. Everything here is good, a must try if you haven’t already. They will make a regular out of you!

*veggie pizza(yummy!!! There was broccoli, zucchini and carrots on it, so interesting to have carrots but they were so good! Haha. I loved the crust and the cheese. It was so surprisingly good and would definitely order this again) *buffalo chicken pizza(not bad, they were generous with the chicken but I’ve had better slices of this) This place is cute and they have good service, their slices are big and def worth $ 3.00; I would come back here and eat again. We got take out so I think next time I would eat dine in.

This review is based solely on the one time i ordered delivery from there. We got the chicken parm sandwich and it was soooooooo delicious. So cheesy!!! The sauce was delish! And it was huge– 10 inches and the price was reasonable. They came right on time, the food was still hot, and their prices are good! I would definitely order from here again!

I took my family here who was visiting from out of state. I had told them Jersey pizza stacks up well, and Tony’s didn’t disappoint. We purchased a large plain pie and a pie they call the«gutbuster» which includes several ingredients such as Italian sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and mushrooms. As to portions, we had more than enough for 4 with the two large pies. Very affordable for the amount of food as well. Ingredients seemed quite fresh, crust is well-made. I would highly recommend Tony’s if you find yourself in the area.

We’ve been coming here for more than 15 years. It’s one of 25 places to get pizza within 5 miles. Tony’s is the go-to place for pizza and traditional American style Italian. Roberto, the current owner, was the sous chef for more than a decade when Tony sold the restaurant to him. Roberto and his wife had started a Mexican restaurant down the block; when the deal for Tony’s came they folded the Mexican menu into the Italian one. Roberto has taught his sons to have the same light touch with the pizza dough, one of the more delicate in the area with just enough chew without being tough. As a traditional American style pizza it has a bit too much cheese in my opinion, but everyone loves it. Entrees encompass the classic and traditional as well as some newer combinations of ingredients. The Mexican menu is only a small part of restaurant’s offerings but this is all home made; burrito, shredded beef chimichangas and flautas. Shrimp Vera Cruz is a delight. They have toned down the spice to appeal to the local community but feel free to ask for more heat for any reason. While prices are edging up there are only a couple dishes that near $ 20 and most are $ 9 – 18. A 18″ pie is still under $ 15. Tony’s is BYOB, there’s no corkage fee and it’s not uncommon to see a table sit down with a couple different wines.
