When we went there was a sign on the door that said business closed bummer we never got a chance to try it out

I was pretty excited to try this place out since there aren’t too many middle eastern food places around. However it got off to a not so impressive start when my friends and I had to wait about 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. the lady who took our order was pretty unpleasant, after we told her our orders she asked us what we wanted bc nobody told her. I’m not sure who she thought we were talking to, perhaps she was just culturally unaware thinking that if we are saying«I’ll have the …» while pointing to the item on the menu we are not speaking to her.? Needless to say I felt some hostility. Also please keep in mind if you ask for water you will be served a 2 dollar water bottle. Our appetizers, entrees, and drinks all came out at the same time… If u like for ur entire organs to be on fire and suffer chest pains you’ll enjoy their spicy falafel, which comes with an additional dollar. Don’t expect them to warn you of the heat intensity or the extra costs. Other than all that the flavors were pretty good for the appetizers. Falafel seemed like it was a prepackaged patty though. Def won’t come back here.

The food was not the best I had, but they deliver and it’s nice to have a change from pizza and Chinese. It’s Sunday and their hours say 10am-9 it’s almost 11 and they still aren’t open! Lost business!

Love it love it love it! Sweet and salty flat bread is my favorite. Have to get it every time. Their tahini sauce is great to. Only complaint, no pita each time I’ve ordered the appetizer platter.

The atmosphere is very calming and clean cut. The playlist ranges from the best oldies. Ordered the Mediterranean flat bread which was delicious and looked lovely but the feta cheese made it a bit too salty. Got a free mint lenonade with check in and it was perfectly delicious but overly sour so order a glass of water on the side. All in all the place is great and I would recommend it.

I really wanted to like this place. I tried it a few times, it’s modern and very clean inside. Service was friendly enough, and it’s almost impossible to find good Falafel and Hummus in this area(outside of South Paterson, which isn’t always convenient for me), but expectations fell short. First off, they sometimes close an hour or two earlier than their posted hours.(I went in there at 6:45 on a Saturday night and they were already locking up, even though the sign on the door said they were opened until 9! Another time, I got there at about 7:30 and the place was already dark.) I questioned them about it once and they said ‘Well, I think business was slow that night.’ Guess what? It will ALWAYS be slow if you don’t adhere to your POSTED hours! Secondly, their prices were reasonable when they first opened, but now seem to climb every few months. They’ll also quietly tack on $ 0.50 or a $ 1.00 for options on the menu that make no mention of additional charges. Lastly, the food is not bad… but it’s nothing memorable either. The Falafel sandwich is rather small and bland. Quality of veggies is lacking and there is not enough tahini at all. The ‘hot’ Falafel has the spice and heat already mixed in, which offers no way for the customer to manage the level of heat, but I honestly still liked it. Once, I asked if I could get the Falafel plate with a mix of hot and regular Falafel patties and was told no. That’s like KFC not letting you get half original and half extra crispy! I tried the Hummus once, it was all separated and looked like it had been in their refrigerator for a few days. It also was very bland and devoid of garlic or spice… and they don’t have hot sauce??? This place needs to be open when they say they are, and increase portion sizes(or lower their prices). I feel like I’ve given them enough chances, and haven’t been impressed.

So I decided to check this place out because the reviews looked good and I love this type of food. We ordered takeout. First item was a falafel platter. Dry, dry, dry. Salad was nothing but shredded lettuce. No dressing. Very disappointing. My husband ordered kofte sliders and a some kind of shrimp wrap. Both were yummy and way better than what I had ordered. I would try them again but order something different. Inside the restaurant was cute but you can clearly see they do more take out than dine in.

We had lunch here today for the first time. The falafel sandwiches were tasty and the pita was fresh and fluffy. After trying a sample of Grandpa’s eggplant, I decided that I had to take an order of it home. The restaurant was clean, our server was polite and helpful and the menu was extensive and featured many delectable options. I look forward to returning to this unique restaurant.

Had a good lunch at this restaurant. It’s an odd setup, looks like a counter service place but they actually do table service.

Tried this place for lunch near my office and wow! What a great find! Clean and nicely decorated. Adequate selection of middle eastern dishes. Had the falafel sandwich, lentil soup and mint lemonade. All were delicious and apparently everything is homemade. Can’t wait to come back and try the variety of flatbreads and other interesting things on the menu. Pricing is very reasonable. Definitely check this place out.

A decent delivery option in an area without much outside of pizza and Chinese food. Delivery was fairly quick and they take credit card over the phone. The chicken pita was tasty with a good amount of sauces and meats. The eponymous falafel was fairly disappointing though and got a bit stale during the delivery.

We ordered take out from this restaurant, as we were visiting the area. Ordered a Falafel Platter, Spinach Pie and Lentil Soup. The falafel was good, but I think that was the only best part. The salad had no dressing nor any dressing on the side. The spinach pie was more dough than the spinach and the feta. And my god, the dough was really hard even after microwaving a bit. The lentil soup left a bitter after taste. On top of that with the falafel platter, came the hummus in a teeny tiny sauce cup. And it was only filled to three fourth of the sauce cup. I think there are better restaurants out there which will give you better portions. Probably won’t be visiting again.

It seems like it is hard to find a business that is truly firing on all cylinders. Falafel Factory has nailed every aspect of their business, from authentic food, the care and design of the inside of the restaurant, to the customer service. The price is just right and I really appreciate how tech savvy they are. They use iPads for their PoS(Point of Sale) hardware and you can place and pay for an order online, tip and all. The shawarma with chicken is my my favorite but Everything I sampled has been on point. They are even opening a second location, though I can’t recall the city.

Was browsing Unilocal to see who is available to deliver food and found this place. On their website, they claimed that delivery will take 45 minutes, so I didn’t expect food for hour or so. To my surprise, they delivered very quickly — may be 20 – 25 minutes after the order, which is near-instant. But let’s get to the food: Food is delicious. Falafel is great, Shawerma is even better! You should really try their Baba Ganoush and Grandpa’s Eggplant — they’re all delicious. Will definitely order again, and, may be visit them.

Went last week to this place. First timer and man was I excited!!! I ended up disappointed though. I ordered a falafel in a pita. Very basic order. I was charged for hot sauce, which at most places like this it’s included… Then I finally get to sit and try the food! Here comes the disappointment. The pita was SUPERDRY!!! The falafel was mashed to the bottom of the pita, all cheap lettuce on top, and I could barely see or taste ANY tahini sauce. Maybe I’m just used to places that use a delicious cabbage, but but I couldn’t find one nice thing to say… oh, it was really clean! And that’s that.

Loved it. 1) Got the chicken shawarma platter and falafel. It was great. 2) The presentation of the meal and the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. 3) And got a free mint lemonade when I checked in on Unilocal

Visited for lunch on a Friday. Small and tidy establishment with a friendly staff. We elected to eat here; food is brought over on real plates and silverware is provided — not what I was expecting from what seems like a fast food spot. Food was extremely tasty and yes, ordering anything«spicy» here is well, «SPICY» — but very delicious. We had falafels and beef shawarma sandwiches, all really good as was the hummus side(included) and the fries. The lemonade was really good(mint, yum) but a bit expensive — a large was $ 3.99. Good value, tasty food and friendly employees. The staff also brought over a free sample of grandpa’s eggplant, which was very good. Give it a try; easy to miss unless you’re looking for it.

*falafel(they were ok, small; they were kind of dry too, flavor was ok but they needed more seasonings; I didn’t think they were really good at all; the tahini sauce needs some serious help, it was bad) *spinach pie(omg!!! sooo good!!! flaky, moist, cheesy; I loved this, I can definitely eat a lot of this haha) This place is small and the parking is horrendous, but they have a good selection of apps and entrees. I think with a name like falafel factory, they should have better falafels but they don’t! haha, I want to try their burger though, so I would give this place another shot especially after their spinach pie: P

I am so happy that I don’t have to drive all the way to South Paterson for damn good Falafal/middle eastern food! This place is literally 3 miles down the road from me! Falafal factory, is a quick service middle eastern resturant located a few blocks across the border of Wayne and Pompton Lakes on Hamburg Turnpike. Their chicken Shawerma is banging! Since, the first time I tried it, I’ve been finding myself jonesing for it! I’m not very big on falafel but I really, really like their falafel. My wife had ordered Kebabs a couple of times and they looked awesome! The dine in area is small but very nice and is super clean. I think they do mostly take-out here since I rarely see anyone dining in but anytime I have ate here I’ve seen people picking up food. This place has become one of my regular spots for dinner and if you go here, you’ll see why.
