WOW, WOW, WOW, visited the store and chose an item to purchase, an Anthony Cat Figurine and the clerk ripped it from my hands and refused to sell it to me saying her boss wanted to keep it. The most horrible unprofessional consignment shop I have ever had the misfortune to stumble across!

I absolutely love thrift stores. I started thrifting in New York a few years back. I always see a man outside this business dancing with a sign and I usually drive by without stopping. Today I decided to take a peek in. This store is large with a wide selection of items. They have glassware, clothing, a dedicated male section, lamps, jewelry, furniture and shoes. The store can be better organized as there was excessive clutter all around (furniture in isles). I did find a skirt for under $ 5.

Many nifty things… not so many thrifty things. To be perfectly fair I was exclusively shopping for furniture and things for the home so I did not check out clothing or toy prices… with the exception of a play kitchen. I bought a bigger play kitchen at a different thrift store for less than half of what they wanted for a small plastic play kitchen.
The store was blasting some sort of gospel music which was a turn off. It wasn’t the gospel music that was the turn off… but the blasting part.
There was a small crock pot from the 80’s that was priced at $ 17. You can buy a bigger one for less new at almost any big box store today. The furniture prices were exceedingly off putting… especially for the quality represented. I found the perfect table but it was entirely too expensive for the condition that it was in.
I might try again. I might not. It would have received one star based on the blasting music and furniture prices.
