Super 8 Motel – Pompano Beach

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Nasty, nasty, NASTY! Bed bugs, holes in sheets, red stained towels, roaches, rats, you name it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Filthy place… Words are not enough to describe! Don’t stay at this place, it should be shut down. Carpet stains, strong odor, broken furniture… You name it. Nasty place!

Really disappointing.
Everything starts out negatively. «No» this, «No» that, No, No, No…
The room was clean but old with an old design. Florescent lights in the ceiling made the room look old and decrepit. The coffee maker would not work where they placed, and I had to move it over by the sink. The TV was old, and the connection to cable was bad. Not as bad as the TV in the lobby, it had a reddish cast that was impossible to watch.
I used it as a bed and shower. It did work for that.
The good news? They are making improvements — Unfortunately I think it is for ADA compliance.
Can you afford better? Go for that…

For nearly 3 years I have been staying here with no trouble whatsoever. The ownership may have changed because this time was VERY different. The front desk person was rude and oblivious. She had NO desire to help or listen to me at all. The room was noticeably less clean than before and was unbelievably hot upon checkin. The refrigerator was not working and they double charged my card for a PREPAID reservation. Do yourself a favor and try one of the other hotels in the area instead.

This place is as bad as people say, I’m here now and the place is a mess, holes in the sheets, cigarettes burn on comforter, the TV is a antique, the place is bad. Parking is dark and its not a good area.
When I first walk in the room it was 90 °F, AC wasn’t running, I made this reservation 4 days ago, they could have start the AC in the morning.

I have to say that the rooms are clean and the employees are very nice. However, I noticed that my sleep was very restless. Upon my arrival home I went to my doctor and it was concluded that I had an reaction to mold.
Thinking back at it. I was feeling well when I was out of the hotel room and very sick while I was in it.

It’s a super 8 motel, I don’t know who’s expecting the Plaza. But you get what you pay for, and hotel was clean, the rooms were clean, the maids did a good job, and concierge was friendly and helpful!
The owner Niel runs a good business and is always willing to help customers.
This hotel is a great alternative to other more expensive places in the area.
Great value!

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in and I travel for a living. They refused to honor the AAA discount. Most things in the room did not work. When i complained they just said «plug it in». The add says HBO and that wasn’t available.
I would rather sleep on the beach than go back there.
