Really loved the shishito pepers and the buns. I can’t wait to try everything else.

I got the Spicy Miso with Pork belly ramen. The pork belly was cooked to perfection however the broth was too salty. Tastey but salty. I like salt but too salty for my taste. Small bowl also, I’m used to BIG bowls of ramen. Barely enough to fill me up. I need to keep looking.

Im not sure why everyone reviews this so highly. The food is ok at best. Their ramen doesnt taste like traditional ramen at all and the pork is super fatty which isnt like chashu pork. I havent tried their other entrees so im not too sure about them, their apps are good though. Also, the music in this place kills me. Its high energy techno/workout music, which sometimes keeps me at ordering delivery but that always takes at least an hour. If you are coming for ramen. I suggest nori in boca. Worth the trip and their ramen is excellent!

Was excited to try this place. I don’t get to have ramen too often. Cute little place and very clean. I started off with the Crab Rangoon. There were 5 to an order with a nice dipping sauce. They were a little small but very good tasting. Would not hesitate to order these again. I also had the Shoyu Ramen with tofu. The broth was great, had corn, bamboo shoots, enoki mushrooms, and a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. Was very good and I will be back. The girls running the front were very friendly and helpful. Only con is that I was too full to try any of the desserts on the menu. There is always next time!

Wow, just wow! This is a diamond in the rough with courteous staff, excellent Thai and Ramen fare. The menu is simple, the portions are ample and it’s all good.

Surprisingly good ramen and pad thai. Really good pad thai. Made so you’d remember it and post a good review. It’s in a weird strip mall next to what looks like a massage parlor, but don’t let that scare you away. The food was good. We did get takeout.

Wow if not for Unilocal,I probably will pass by this place a million times and never thought to stop by! It’s in a rather unassuming strip mall. I came here for the ramen and it’s a-okay. Especially since I’ve tried some great ones, not as far away as New York or Asia, but only a few hours away in Tampa and Orlando. The tonkotsu broth isn’t rich and smooth enough, though the ajitama tastes pretty good. I did enjoy very much the Japanese crêpe. When I saw it on the menu I decided I have to order it, no matter how full I am with the noodles. It’s one of my favorite street food, a happy childhood memory of soft crêpe rolled in a cone shape with ice cream, fruit and other fillings. Kin’s version is quite a bit more super-sized than my childhood version, but they do make it right. The crêpe is lighter, less crispy and more chewy than French crêpe, and the girl made it really thin. The matcha brownie is delicious, a little dry if eaten along, but works fine as a topping. Definitely I will be back for the crêpe, and maybe next time I’ll try something other than the ramen.

Kin Asian Street Food opened up near where I work, and I was excited to see a place offering ramen since it is relatively hard to come by down here(no thanks, I’d rather not drive to Miami). Initially I had looked at the menu and been disappointing in the vegetarian options, but did note their super convenient online ordering system. A few months later I looked at the menu again and saw a little note on the bottom that tofu could be substituted for the meat items, and they have a miso broth ramen, so I took that as a green light, and Savanna M, and I finally made it for lunch when we had some cool and rainy weather last week. Arriving around noon they weren’t busy at all, and we took a seat right away. Looking at the menu I debated just how much I would order, with so many restaurants I’m never sure when I will make it back somewhere, and I just want to make sure I don’t miss anything. I ordered the fried tofu appetizer which is served with a peanut dipping sauce, and the spicy miso ramen(yayy for a meatless broth option), with tofu instead of pork. I debated a taro bubble tea, but I didn’t want to be too full. The appetizer arrived pretty quickly, but be warned, let it cool. The inside of fired tofu is SUPER hot. I as always loved the peanut dipping sauce. At $ 5 you get nine little pieces, and plenty of sauce to dip, easily shareable as an app. The ramen arrived in big bowls, and they were super cute pretty flowers and other things painted on. The serving was pretty large, the broth had the right amount of spice and great flavor, and the noodles weren’t soggy and had a nice texture to them. The soft boiled egg was cooked perfect, and there were quite a few veggies in the mix(corn and mushrooms) and well. There was quite a bit of tofu and I couldn’t finish it all, I have a habit of saving my favorite parts for last, and then being too full to finish. For $ 10 it was super filling, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting this again. The service here was friendly and pretty quick, and I was really happy with both my food choices. I am definitely looking forward to coming back, but I’m not sure I could convince myself to order other things because I liked what I had so much… the problems of a Unilocaler.

Finally made it to Kin Asian! Been waiting for just the right moment(cloudy/cool weather for soup, nobody joining for lunch who has food complaints, and a later lunch time since Kin doesn’t open til 12). We arrived right at 12pm for a Friday lunch and found we had the place to ourselves(though some others did roll in later). Despite studying the menu online, and pretty much knowing I wanted ramen, I found the actual menu to be laid out differently and resulted in me restudying the whole thing lol. They do have quite a few small bite options, but I tried to hold back(for my wallet) and not order everything. Since we were first to arrive our server was very attentive and we had waters in mere seconds while finalizing our choices. Jessica G. opted to try the fried tofu(with peanut dressing) and I enjoyed a piece. Pretty good, with awesome peanut dressing. I started with a side salad, and although I would have preferred peanut dressing(they did have this option) I went with the ginger dressing to better compliment my entrée. Not the best ginger dressing in my opinion, so don’t be rational like me, and just get the peanut lol. For an entrée I was sold on the Kimchee Ramen listed as a special, and went with the recommended pork as a meat. I’m no ramen expert, but this was good, and a kimchee LOVER, I was pretty much in heaven. Perfect portion size for the $$. Overall, this was a great experience. I loved the street food vibe they were going for, but classed up a bit with the service, bowls, utensils etc.(Jessica and I both commented on how cute our ramen bowls were!). Hopefully we’ll get back here sooner than later because ramen is hard to come by in Broward!

I’m a diverse traveler from a lot of East Asian countries and I will tell you right now unquestionably this place gave me goosebumps. The level of complexity and flavor that was in the Ramen broth is 10 stars The noodle texture from the fresh made Ramen noodles is a 10. You will not find fresh Ramen noodles anywhere in South Florida and I almost didn’t want to write this review to keep it a secret so enjoy this place

Wow! I just picked up the Tonkotsu Ramen with Beef and it was out of this world delicious! The broth had so much flavor and it wasn’t salty at all! The ramen noodles in it were so filling and I couldn’t put my spoon down! I also got the Rangoon and Seaweed Salad! Both very good! It’s a small spot and kind of off the beaten path but I highly recommend it! I’ll be back for the Ramen and I look forward to trying their japanese dessert crepes and shishito peppers!

After the renaissance festival and a nap we were ready to go eat some food. This place is 10 mins away from my house and we never knew it was even there, but thanks to Unilocal and my husband suggesting we go there after he looked at the Unilocal pictures and reviews we took of and got there around 9:15. When we walked in we were the only ones in the restaurant. The lady behind the counter told us to sit anywhere. She brought us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. I got a Thai tea bubble tea and my husband got a hot sake. Thai tea bubble tea $ 3.95 — Tasted just like a regular Thai tea you would get at any Thai restaurant but with tapioca balls. Pork Gyoza $ 5.95 — Five juicy moist pork filling in a chewy crispy wrapper and a soy sauce dipping sauce. Tonkotsu Ramen $ 9.95 — Creamy pork broth topped with chashu pork, enoki mushroom, bamboo shoot, corn, scallion and soft boiled egg. It was delicious! Best ramen I’ve had so far since New Orleans. The food was great and the price of everything was even better. This will probably be our new take out place for ramen.

We found this delicious little place when the first restaurant we wanted to have lunch at was closed. We searched Unilocal for something local and up popped Kin Asian Street Food. It’s located in a very plain plaza that I would never have stopped at on normal day; but, I’m so glad we did. We decided to start with a variety of small bites so we could sample. We ordered the Crab Ragoon, Thai Chicken Wings and Gyoza. We really wanted the Chicken Curry Puffs since everyone had said how great they were. Unfortunately, they were out of them and a new batch wasn’t finished by the time we left. The Crab Ragoon were tiny, deep fried balls of heaven. Seriously creamy and delicious I could have eaten all five by myself. The Thai Chicken Wings were nice sized and the breading was so good. The sauce they serve it with had a great little kick to it. The Gyoza we ordered steamed and were really yummy. Great flavor and served with a nice dipping sauce. For our main meals my friends both ordered one of the ramen dishes but I decided on the Pad Thai, which was on the special menu. It was amazing. Absolute delicious combination of flavors and a nice amount of chicken. They serve a nice sized portion so I didn’t finish it. My friend ended up taking the leftovers home and loved it too. The place is small but very clean. Our waiter was wonderful. So friendly and attentive. Make sure you get your picture taken and put it on their board. It’s a really cute touch. I can’t wait to go back and try the Curry Puffs as soon as possible.

Disappointment. Is the single word that I would use to describe Kin Asian. Located in the Strip Mall of Narang Plaza it was easy to find with plenty of free parking. We walked into an empty restaurant on a Saturday after being out all day and feeling the hunger set in by this time. The lady behind the counter did not greet us but told us to sit anywhere. We sat down and she quickly brought over the menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Both my husband and I wanted to start with Bubble Tea so we quickly ordered while she stood there. There aren’t many flavors which leads me to believe these are the real deal. In the meantime our server brought over a plastic to-go lid, plastic utensils, and chopsticks for our table setting. If they are going for the«Street Food» theme then seriously they need to rethink the super cheap place settings and maybe go for something else more unique… The«prep» area is open for the small interior to see but the kitchen is behind closed doors. The restaurant overall is very cheaply done with no ambiance or real vibe going for it but surly the food has to be amazing right?!? Our Bubble Teas are made by the lady we ordered them from which consisted of a few mixing ingredients then Voila! they arrived at our table. First sip and I thought… That’s funky. Second sip. Weird. Hmm yes yes I taste that foul chalky taste of cheap cheap powder mix. This was just the start to our downhill meal. We decided on the Crab Rangoon’s, Beef Pad Thai, Tonkotsu Ramen, and then to finish with the Honey Toast which says to order 15 mins ahead of time so we just ordered everything together. The Crab Rangoon’s were generously filled but with mostly Cream Cheese. They were very bland and not satisfying at all. We are Crab Rangoon Fanatics and these just were not right. Beef Pad Thai comes out in a to-go container and you get a large portion but the actual Pad Thai was very wet and also had that funky cheap ingredient taste and the Beef was far from quality. Onto the Tonkotsu Ramen which is also served in a to-go container; this was probably the«best» dish we had here. The broth was good, noodles were not too firm or soft, and that egg was cooked nicely! What I did not enjoy was the dry Chashu Pork and other low quality ingredients they put in such as the smushy Corn and cheap Enoki Mushrooms. Also, there was really not many enhancements to put inside from sauces to added spices. Now I know you are seriously dying to order their Honey Toast but I advise you to stay FARFAR away from it. If you have never had Honey Toast then do not base your first try on this one. And if you have had Honey Toast then this is just blatantly offensive. Where is the HONEY??? Why is the Toast so hard and dry? We seriously just ate the fruit and left the rest for the waste bin. About half way into our meal we see our server walk out the front door. Nothing was said, nobody advised us she was leaving, she just left. Cool– but I guess it’s only one table since we were still the only ones in the restaurant… Never Again–

HIDDENGEMALERT! I bookmarked Kin Asian sometime ago when I saw a fellow Unilocalers amazing food pics from here! In the area on our way to another restaurant(that ended up being closed)… Unilocal bookmarks to the rescue! Located in an inconspicuous plaza(that you would literally drive by without knowing) Kin is a very simple and clean restaurant but don’t let the simplicity fool you! Their food is bangin’! — Thai Chicken Wings… get two of these! They were hot, crispy, fresh out of the fryer and cooked to perfection. I normally don’t like breaded chicken wings but these were delicious and probably my favorite compared to anywhere else I’ve ever had chicken wings. Fair warning… the spicy chili sauce was so good but it definitely was«Thai spicy»!(PS: Don’t tell my dad I like someone else’s chicken wings better than his!) — Gyoza we ordered steamed since we had two other fried appetizers. I personally prefer gyoza steamed and these were full of flavor and soft to eat. Great dipping sauce also. — Crab Rangoon’s that were obviously hand made and super fresh. Just delicious! I’m pretty sure I’ll never be able to eat any other kind of crab Rangoon’s anywhere else ever again. — Tonkotsu Ramen — I asked the waiter what he recommended, as I always do. He said this ramen dish was very popular. I’ve never had«real» ramen before and this food is literally life changing. Deliciously flavored brown broth with thin sliced pork, corn, scallions, and real ramen noodles floating on the bottom. I’m a huge fan of «comfort food» and this is exactly what I would consider Asian comfort food! If you’re a newbie don’t let the hardboiled egg scare you. Eat it! You won’t be disappointed! I also wasn’t going to drink the broth at the end since I was already so full — big mistake! Definitely drink the broth! YUM! — Pad Thai was on their special menu that I actually got to try as leftovers since my friend couldn’t take them home. Such a win! It was the absolute best pad Thai I’ve ever had but it was still very good and the flavor was on point. It probably would have been better fresh and could have used a bit more chicken. As hungry as we were we actually had to wait a few minutes before we were able to eat most of the food since it was all super hot and fresh out of the kitchen. We also initially ordered the chicken curry puffs and were so sad when he told us they weren’t made yet. They have so many more entrees I want to try and a few desserts that look amazing. Japanese crepes? Hello! They also offer different flavors of bubble tea if that’s your thing. I personally don’t like the tapioca ball things! The three of us were the only ones dining in on a Sunday afternoon and received 5 star customer service! The gentleman(Ben) that was there was so friendly, came by so much to check on us, asked how the food was, etc. Kin Asian Street Food proved to be a fantastic dining experience and is a great little«street food» restaurant that I will definitely be returning to very soon!

I have been going to this awesome restaurant and have not rate them at all… I’m a bad Unilocaler… This restaurant is so famous on their ramen. Ramen is a traditional Japanese noodle soup. I’m surprise that the owner/chef is not Japanese, because their ramen are authentic Japanese. Just as I thought my opinion was wrong, I’ve bought back my boss and my coworkers which are Japanese and tried out. They were impressed as well. I have the spicy miso ramen which is awesome and Kimchee Ramen was extraordinary. Highly recommended. From the appetizer: Shishito Pepper and wings are my favorite. Of course you have to have the sticky rice with the wings. It’s tasty, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Other than the ramen, we also have the Udon Kemow, Japanese noodle with Thai basil spice. Wow, what a great combination . Now to the desert, OMG. The best part of this restaurant. They cook the crêpe in front of you which shows you how fresh it is. They also have this desert name Honey Toast. My oh my. I don’t know how to describe. It’s just simply delicious. The bread are toasted, nice and crispy on the outside then the inside, the bread is so soft. It have the butter taste and a sweet honey taste. It comes with ice cream of your choice and fruits. You seriously have to try it. I have no complaint about this restaurant except… I have gained weight since they opened. But oh well… Only lives once…

Kin specializes in what it terms Asian street food. I’ve spent a lot of time in Asia, I’m well acquainted with what they term street foods and love them all, especially those of Singapore. Kin is an immaculately clean establishment and rather well appointed in Asian like décor. However, it is basic and simple with very typically Asian polite and helpful service. I started by ordering their mango bubble tea which proved to not only be mango tasty but loaded with nice big bird’s eye size large black tapioca. I also went for their spicy miso soup which, like street food, came in a Styrofoam bowl with a plastic spoon. It was really a regular miso broth with tofu and seaweed but for the added spiciness extra green onion along with jalapeño slices. I love things spicy, but not hot, especially not so hot as to be what I term X-rated. But as the sliced jalapeño was apparently somewhat cooked, was rather mild, having lost it razors edge of being hot. For my main, I ordered their crispy basil with shrimp which at $ 4.00 more than chicken, beef or tofu worked out to be $ 13.95. As it came wall loaded with shrimp, I considered the price I paid to be somewhat of a steal. It also came served in what might be termed a street food bowl with plastic fork. The dish had a good basil taste to it, contained plenty of stir fried onion and was topped over a white rice. Overall, for a place specializing in «street foods,» far better than most others and in fact better than some restaurants serving the same but termed as being a lunch or dinner.

I wish I could give 5 stars for this place! It was a cold and rainy night so I was craving ramen! I searched a few places and this place had all positive reviews. Like some of the other reviewers said, it’s located in a small shopping strip. Once inside, cute décor and photos make you feel like you’re in Japan! It’s a small place with only a few tables, I assume most people pick up. We started with the chicken curry puffs appetizer. It was my first choice. Our waiter was friendly and adorable, asking him which appetizer he liked best, he mentioned the wings and another selection, but not the puffs. We went for them anyways. They quickly came out and I dug into mine. Tasty spices and flavors, yum I said! Another bite… ice cold! The center was cold which made me think it was microwaved. I continued eating the rest of it which was hot. I was bummed but didn’t bother to let them know. After the cold puffs I was hoping the ramen would turn it around and it did! I had chicken and it was filled to the top with noodles, corn, egg, sprouts mushrooms and more! It was very very good! They had a dessert menu but we had no room. They also has bubble tea and other Asian favorites. I will be back for the ramen for sure! Hoping everything else stats fresh!
