Love. Love. Love this restaurant !!! The omelets are amazing. We also really like the tuna melt… Always fresh hot coffee! All the wait staff is so friendly and personable. One of our favorite places

Our family loves the Jukebox. We have been going there for 2 years and have always had great service and great food. In fact, the owners went out of their way to throw a wonderful party for my mother’s 85th birthday. They have always been kind, helpful, and attentive. It is the freshest diner food in town

Cute little diner! Yummy American Classic burger! Fries were ok. Great service as well. Diner is super cute with the old fashion look and jukebox!

Everyone reading this should take note of the other negative reviews about this place. I came across the curly haired woman that everyone talks about. I just stopped by to read the menu, the lady came and told me that i was bothering other guests. Mind you the patio area was not occupied. She is rude and does not care about customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. So disappointed, especially when we were trying to support a local diner. My wife and I went for breakfast and was told the wait would be ten minutes. No problem. Then two other couples who showed up after us were sat before we were. When my wife asked why the hostess shrugged her shoulders then grabbed another man who also showed up after us and sat him at a table outside«because he had a dog with him»! I guess the three other couples who showed up after us couldn’t wait patiently like we did, especially since there are plenty of tables and the wait wouldn’t have been terrible. Poor management and hosting! We left after the dog comment and will not be returning. Too many other good diners around the area.

I’ll admit, I haven’t eaten the food. I was treated so badly when attempting to order, that I walked away. I was at Vega Lounge, literally next door, maybe 5 steps and the waitress wouldn’t let me walk past the imaginary line to the sidewalk served by Vega with the menu. So, I read the apps out loud to my dining partner, again 5 feet from the imaginary line, and the waitress told me if I wanted to read the menu I had to go inside. I promptly dropped the menu and walked down to Café Brie which is on the other side of the aweful, nasty Jukebox and not only did they give me a to go menu, but they will deliver it to me. Jukebox… service FAIL lost you this customer and hopefully many more that may read about how awful you are.

Terrible. Rude, nasty, confrontational owner. Never felt so uncomfortable & judged on any restaurant. Paying for that experience was dumbfounding. How she hasn’t managed to oatracize the entirety of Pompano is beyond me. Those who had a plesant experience obviously fit the approved mold of the owners’ desired customer. Unbelievable. Don’t waste your money or time.(Would have selected no stars if possible)

I would leave less than 1 star if it were possible. Somehow the 5 times I’ve eaten here the curly haired woman has managed to insult myself or my party every time. Literally yelling at my 7 year for touching the jukebox. Getting in confrontations EVERY time with my husband. Today we went despite this lady, with 10 tables open we ask to not sit in front of the window, she says«fine but if somebody else comes I’ll have to move you!» WHAAAT!!! This woman is obnoxious, rude, confrontational, no customer service skills. Can I say more??? I am HORRIFIED. Then she says to my husband,“you are yelling at me! You better go and never come back!” Wow! I just wanted a nice brunch! I still can’t figure out what this woman has against us, is it tattoos? Children? Men? I don’t know. Save yourself an anxiety attack and don’t eat here.

I used to go to a different local diner but thought it was a bit too expensive and the service wasn’t always the greatest. One day we decide to check out JukeBox Diner and we haven’t been back to the other place since. The staff is very friendly and the food is always good. Their biscuits and gravy are amazing and the home fries are delicious. We’ve taken quite a few people there and everyone loves it. The décor is fun and we always enjoy discovering new things on the walls that we hadn’t noticed before.

The breakfast was okay. Good food, just not much of it. Overpriced for what you get. Nothing special here.

Really friendly staff, and good home cooking. Breakfast done well with good coffee. Fifties motif is cute and the place is super clean. It seemed like most of the diners were locals.

Very uncool ownership… they won’t let you order takeout if they know you are going to the bar next door who doesn’t even serve food. Talking about cutting off your nose to spite your face. Now they have called the parking police to ticket people who don’t frequent their place despite tons of spots still available to enforce the non-metered two hour parking rule. Unfortunately now everybody in the parking lot is getting nailed with tickets even if they are no where near this joint. They even installed huge fans to blow across the outdoor seating of the place next door to discomfort their patrons. The combination of average food, high prices, and vindictive ownership is making this the place to avoid in Pompano. Stay away!!!

Generally speaking, I feel like it’s hard to go wrong when you choose a diner for your meal. The Jukebox Diner was no exception. And unlike most of my restaurant experiences, I went in here blind without checking Unilocal first. That may have been a good thing. My dad and I were quickly greeted and shown to a table. My dad chose a chicken entrée, which he enjoyed. As for me, I usually have to get breakfast at a diner, but for some reason, I eschewed my normal ordering habits and decided upon the hot dog. Random? Perhaps, but oh, what a good choice it was. Long-time Broward residents might remember a cute little restaurant on Sunrise Blvd. alongside the train tracks called Dan’s. Sadly, there’s a Home Depot there now. Anyway, my mom would take me there all the time as a kid. They served skinny foot-long hot dogs that were grilled to perfection. After Dan’s closed, I eventually gave up hope of finding that hot dog again. So when the waitress at Jukebox Diner put the plate down in front of me, I was quite happily surprised to see that this looked an awful lot like the same hot dog I so enjoyed years ago. And sure enough, my first bite proved it. This was, indeed, the same hot dog! It brought me back, and I enjoyed every bite. I chose to have it served with sweet potato fries on the side, and they were fantastic as well. «Okay, we get it… you really like that hot dog,» you’re saying as you think to yourself that I’m an odd duck.(That’s okay, I am one with my weirdness.) «So why four stars and not five?» Good question, reader. It’s a bit of a strange answer. You see, on my first visit, I took the pictures I posted here in a rather obvious fashion, with no one saying anything to me. I told my co-workers about the place, and how I thought we should order from there for lunch. So we went to look for a menu of any sort online, but found there to be none. A bit old-fashioned, but okay, I’ll just go over there and get a to-go menu. Simple enough… except they had none. I asked if I could just borrow a menu for a minute to text pictures of it to my co-workers so they could know what to order. I was nicely told that wouldn’t be allowed. «We really discourage taking pictures. They could end up anywhere online, you know.» Well sure… but isn’t that the point? So more people could discover you and your food? It’s rare I go to a restaurant without looking up a menu in advance. My first trip here was one such rare event. Usually I’d choose to go to a place with a posted menu, rather than walking in blind. I’m pretty sure there are lots of people out there who feel the same way. The waitress suggested I call at lunchtime and she could read it to me. Well, here’s the thing: I work in an office with phones ringing all the time. The chances of me being able to stay on the line long enough to hear the whole menu are slim to none. I politely said as much, and held firm until I managed to get a print of the menu(that normally is inserted into the vinyl menu holders) to take back with me. I left a little baffled at the situation. Why the paranoia? Their food is good, their interior is fine… there shouldn’t be anything to hide. Besides, their menu is taped to the window right next to the door. You could just take a picture of it from the outside quite easily. I just thought it would be less awkward to ask inside. I guess not? Sure enough, my co-workers and I really enjoyed our meals. They were prepared exactly as ordered, with condiments provided in little plastic cups on the side. We all decided we’d keep that(hard to procure) menu handy for future work lunches. As others have pointed out on here, I am not the only one to have been told the no-picture rule. Had I read that in advance, I probably would’ve chosen another place. I’m glad I gave it a chance. I hope the owners realize that, while there are a few bad eggs out there on the internets, a vast majority of us mean well and would be happy to share the great parts about their business with the world. Making it harder on us to do just that is an unnecessary hindrance to that effort. In particular, I would rather support a small, local business like this, instead of going to someplace like IHOP or any other random, large chain. But again, if it’s hard to find information in advance, many will choose the more beaten path. I… I chose the path less traveled.

Wanted to try this place for a while since it’s right near my house and on my way to work. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat: first server was very nice and efficient. Ordered fried zucchini and a cheeseburger to split with my wife. The décor is rather bland with posters of jukebox memorabilia. Elvis, Marilyn Munroe, etc. my wife happen to like the outfit in Marilyn’s poster and was about to take a picture when the owner or manager came over and asked«you’re not going to take a picture are you? We don’t allow pictures in the restaurant«. What?! Is there some big trade secret about your very common décor that you’re afraid other people want to steal? Hello this is the 21st-century ever hear of social media? Very bizarre strange encounter. Needless to say there are numerous diners where you can get good food without being accosted– won’t be returning Don’t have any pictures to post

Perfect location, perfect atmosphere and perfectly good food! Just like the name, the diner has that 50s sock-hop décor and feel. Sidewalk seating outside is special, indoor seating is just as good. I had the cheese omelet with grits one time and another time eggs sunny side up with grits! Can you tell I love grits?

I love this place! We were visiting from central Fl and my father in law took us here. It’s a great local place. I had the Irish eggs Benedict and it was AMAZING. I rarely eat my whole meal when dining out, but I could have licked the plate. My husband had the turkey melt with sweet potato fries and said it was really good as well. We will definitely be back the next time we visit. Thanks!

This little diner is very nicely put together. Excellent décor and music. Do not take any pictures. They claim their art is copyrighted, but I do remember seeing work from ikea hung on the wall. The service was the reason I’m going to give 3 instead of 4 stars. It was friendly at the door, but no one told me about the specials or took a genuine interest in me as a new customer. I sat there and just ordered the standard fare, not even looking at anything else in the menu. The food was good, it was definitely filling and quick. The waitress seemed more attentive to the larger tables ignoring the smaller ones. The prices are average to medium. I spent 10.50 on 2eggs, 2pancakes, 2very small pieces of bacon, and a small very embarrassing single sausage link, plus a cup of coffee. The value for money is definitely lacking, but they have a solid local customer base. I may visit again because the environment is cool. It was a good experience but nothing compared to the hospitality and value experienced at the other diners in the same area.
