Yes this place gets a 5 star from me. I was scared to go to eat at this place because of the reviews. So not true. Everything was great. I went back the next day.

Look at the photos of the sidewalk at the entrance dirty, carpet discusting, bathroom was gross, glass dirty. Never would go there again. The franchisor needs to do a sneak inspection. See photos.

I recommend this place. They have a wide selection of delicious Food. and their staff are very friendly especially Maria who waited on us. I don’t give them five because the place needs a renovation. It looks kinda old. But overall it’s great!!!

Always busy, but the selection is vast. I went for dinner and noticed that they had a new station for breakfast item’s as well as making them to order. No need to come for breakfast. Salad bar was great. The only problem I had was looking for tarter sauce for my catfish for like 15 minutes even after being pointed in a direction to no where by the lady behind the counter in the salad area. Super unhelpful even after she seen how lost I was. The dessert area was pretty vast with lots to choose from.

I had never been to Golden Corral, but there’s one near my office and decided to stop by for lunch since I couldn’t decide what I wanted.
I’d probably give this place an extra half star if I could for two reasons. 1 being the super friendly/​attentive staff. Maybe it was because it was lunch and as such a little slow but they were all super personable. 2. The Bourbon Street chicken (the one item that I had that was actually hot, not dry, and pretty flavorful).
Aside from that the food was all dry and not nearly as warm as I’d like it to be. I guess I should expect that from a place like this that has to leave food out all day, but even the heated trays struggled to keep food above room temperature.

The worse place I have been. The place is disgusting. I am so glad I went there with some friends that had a coupon (Buy one, get one). Kids screaming and running all over the place. Kids putting their hands and touching the food and nobody paying attention. Flies all over the place. Had to wait for a cashier about 5 minutes while She was hanging out. Never again

The most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever seen. I had a prior lunch engagement with a friend I hadn’t seen in 2 years but the group of people I was traveling with wanted to eat here. I chose to stay with them until my lunch date but upon arrival I was told to «pay or get out» simply because I wasn’t going to eat. Completely embarrassing to be kicked out of a restaurant just for wanting to sit with friends. Never stepping foot in here again.

This is by far the most disgusting place I have ever come across. The pictures I’ve uploaded pretty much speak for them selves, so there’s really not much else for me to say in that respect. This place doesn’t even deserve a fraction of a star. The guy grilling the steaks can’t tell the difference between raw meat and burnt shoe leather. To make things worse, he cleans the air filter vents above the grill while the steaks are cooking, with crap falling onto the meat. It’s a definite health hazard. All the other food is either old, over-​cooked, or under-​cooked, thus inedible. I was curious about this place and tried it. Never again.

Besides the yelling kids, I don’t know why this place only had 2 stars.
The salad ingredients were all very fresh and tasted great. All the hot foods were cooked well, meats were still juicy not dry.
The wait staff was very helpful, cleared plates quickly and efficiently, tables were clean, seats were clean.
What else do you want from a cheap buffet???

Dear Unilocal,How do I give this back alley slop hall a –5 star??? I am not exaggerating when I say this place was nasty dirty — the employees were rude to 2 other patrons that we witnessed… We were too scared to ask for anything if we had questions regarding the buffet.
I will never step foot in this hole again. They need to do complete cleaning of this turd hall. Take my advice– Do Not waste your money ($ 24.00 for 2 adults), don’t waste your time, your dignity — soul — character. Run away —- Fast!!!

Do not come here. The only reason I left one star is because Unilocal won’t let me leave zero. Our server was great but the food was disgusting. Me and my boyfriend couldn’t find a single thing worth eating. As someone who works in a restaurant I could tell atleast half of the veggies for the salads were expired and it seemed most of the food here was. The peanut butter fountain was to watery and left such a bad taste in our mouths we had to stop and buy gum on the way home. Now we both are feeling very sick and worried about food poisoning. Trust me when I say anywhere is better than this place.

The service was very good, the server kept the drinks full and the dishes bussed of the table. The salad bar was very messy. I let the server know the state of the salad bar. They promptly cleaned it. Other than the fly that kept buzzing around the table everything was good.

Great place for family dining or a couple looking for casual dining. When you can’t decide what to eat try a little of everything. We waited only 10 minutes on line than seating was immediately available. A ‘server’ greeted us immediately with a smile.
Salad bar was well stocked, fresh, and maintained well. Hot entrees were an international buffet. The only complaint was that most of the hot food was heavily salted. Think twice if you are on a low sodium diet.
Save some room for desert.

Outstanding customer service was provided by our waiter named «Evan». He is an oder fella who barely speaks english, but understand it well. He went above, and beyond what normal wait staff does at restaurants, and I even left a tip which was twice what the meal cost us, just due to his service.
Skip the sugar & saturated fat bar that everyone hits, and go straight to the grill. Fill up on steak & grilled fish. If you don’t see something you like, ask them to cook some more, it is that simple.
The waiter is purely what made this place a high score for me. If you are visiting this location, I would make sure you sit in Evan’s section. If not, wait for a table in his section. Otherwise this would have been a sub par experience.

I really should have known better, but a friend «treated» me to dinner at this Golden Corral location on May 27, 2013 at 7:09 p.m. Maurice was our server.
Having eaten at several Golden Corral locations with extremely mixed reviews, this location receives one star only because Unilocal will not allow me to leave zero stars.
A $ 29.00 tab for dinner and water for two, I will NEVER visit Golden Corral again. The food at this location was not only ill prepared, luke warm, but simply disgusting. Although advertised, not a single one of the so-​called «signature dishes» was available for our dining pleasure.
As for the drink — water, that was okay but not ice cold as if the Golden Corral was saving the ice cubes for something else.
Nasty, disgusting, horrible. I would rather eat jail food than return to this particular Golden Corral.
