Ordered a lunch sandwich today and received a drywall screw in it. All they said we sorry and gave me a free drink coin. I would check your food from this place before biting in and hitting a hard object like I did. Having tooth pain tonight.

Flanagan’s is a place I’ve driven by tons of times and never tried and then the other night a group of us ended up here. The décor: wow. It’s like a hillbilly mancave in there and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Girls photographed wearing bikinis and holding fish, huge fish on the walls, sports games being played on every tv– all you needed was a pick up truck and the Eagles playing. The menu was huge and every night there is some type of huge special. I will remember the free nachos on Monday when you order a pitcher. I ordered wings and fries and an iced tea. The fries were so good– very salty though if you’re not into that. Cooked well down. The wings were just ok. The bbq sauce(you can also get mild, medium or hot) was sweet but I wasn’t crazy about the overall flavor. I can’t truly describe it, but they were just ok. I’d get the wings again sure, but would do a different flavor. The real star of the review is our waitress Mary who would have bent over backwards for us if we asked her to. I’ve never had a more attentive server. I feel like she did 10,000 running back and forth getting refills and anything else our party of five asked for. I would come back here solely to be in her section. The food may not be the absolute best, but it’s definitely reasonably priced which helps. Mary herself gets 5 stars. The food is 3 stars.

Eek! Well we had a gift card so we decided to pop in– on a Sunday night in tourist season, there was a 15 minute wait. Once seated our waitress was nice but perhaps overwhelmed. She took our order and then sort of disappeared. A food runner brought our food but forgot my side. After about 10 minutes, i asked and it was forgotten to begin with. Cole slaw was a tad funky, blackened dolphin was good, dirty rice was tasty. Broccoli finally came out by a manager who did not apologize but rather kept telling us how happy we are with our food and service. Keep trying to convince us… The bill came and thr forgotten $ 2 side was on the bill, which irked me. Its only $ 2– comp it, its the least you can do. Paying the bill was a cluster. The food was ok, standard bar food(Dolphin fingers are the best thing there) but the service brings this place down.

My husband enjoyed a delicious tilapia and baked potato dinner. I was surprised at how hot the food was and how good the fish tasted. I’ve had tilapia in other restaurants and it’s often tasteless — this was seasoned blackened and lemony and delicious: he gave me a bite and ended up giving me ½ filet(comes with two) I enjoyed it very much. Will order it next time!(Update next day: ordered same fish next day for carry out after a day on the beach and both had double the amount of fish at carry-out. Go figure! Double the pleasure!!!) I had the rocking-rib-rolls which are always meaty, tasty and satisfying. The place is always packed and the service is good. There are always a good mix of locals and tourists since its minutes from the beach. Kind of a «Cheers» type of vibe with lots of friendly banter at the bar. Not bad for a place just up the street for a good hot meal on an exhausting Fri nite!

Drove past and saw lots of cars in parking lot so turned around .had 20 minute wait, place was packed full. So festive, lights and decorations everywhere, Christmas music playing, feel in love with the atmosphere right away! Server Katie was friendly, sincere, sweet spirit despite being exhausted. So many good choices for dinner, had great pasta dish and hubby had burger. large portions, good prices, garlic rolls to die for, oh my ! chocolate brownie dessert yummy. Loved the place. !!! It’s fast, loud, and the food is fair/ok. One had a salad with chicken strips, kind of dry. One had salmon sandwich-good sized, about $ 9. Pretty good, one had tuna, ok, I had dinner of salmon with garlic butter and chipotle sauce. It was fine, as was the side salad and excellent cole slaw. Had a vodka($ 5.) average size. It’s loud, lots of customers. Not as good as bobby Romanos, but not bad.

Stopped by here when Take Sushi was closed for lunch on a Tuesday. Split the baby back ribs, and they were pretty good. They have some good deals, and our server was very helpful and nice. They could cut down on their menu because there are so many options!!! That could also be a good thing.

Wow!!! Didn’t expect this. We arrived about 10pm and the place was still packed. Only a 5 min wait. The homemade gumbo was delicious. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The wings were flavorful and the pasta was fantastic. The garlic rolls were superb. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. There’s no way the locals eat here, cuz if they did they’d way 300 lbs. The food is that good and reasonably priced.

This bar/restaurant had a fun atmosphere and good food. While there is no where to wait for a table(we ended up outside) the wait wasn’t terribly long. Ordered the pasta salad and it was exactly why I hope it would be — cold pasta salad you would expect at a picnic or gathering. It hit the spot. Our waitress was really friendly. The food took awhile but was good. My family all seemed to enjoy their food and my dad loved the seafood gumbo. If in the area again, will go back to try what looked like awesome nachos!

Flanigan’s is one of the places that I always stop when in South Florida. They have great wings and appetizers plus it is a great place to watch games. On this visit to this location we went to this location for lunch on a Friday and we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our waitress was a bit rushed and flighty(I had to ask several times for extra sauce for my wings) and the staff spent a lot of time talking and discussing lunch options rather than waiting. My wings were pretty dry and overcooked, which has never been an issue from any other location. My fiancé got ribs and they were okay, but not something we would order again. The real highlight of our meal was the potato skins that we ordered as an app that were cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings. We chose this location because it was close to the beach and home but we will most likely choose another location next time around.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Good Garlic rolls, great Tumbleweed Onions(Fried Onion Strings), OK smoked fish dip, and the Caribbean Burger is huge, meaty and very tasty! As were the Seasoned Curly fries that came with it. Great servers! Helpful and attentive! Recommended!

We almost didn’t stay because when we first walked in it took five or 10 minutes for us to get waited on at the bar and we came in around midnight it really wasn’t that busy However I’m glad we did stay we read a comment about trying the garlic knots and that was a good recommendation and I to recommend trying to garlic knots the salad was wonderful job it was good and my steak A little bit too many green lights on inside But I guess that comes from the Irish heritage Once we were served the bartender was friendly and very accommodating we would deathly try this place again

We went to Flanigans and ate outside. Honestly, the service was great: attentive, helpful and very positive. The table they sat us at was dirty, even after a quick wipe down. Dinner does not start off well with a dirty table. We started by ordering the fries and fish spread. The fish spread was good but it was more of a tuna fish and crackers than a smoked fish appetizer you would think of getting at a restaurant. We ate all of the fries. They were good but quite normal. For dinner I ordered the fried dolphin sandwich since it was a small portion and it was quite good with the baked potato. No one else seemed to get excited about their food. The salmon was good with the sesame glaze but the dolphin and tilapia pan fried was not the texture or flavor that the others wanted. The portions were huge so there were a lot of fish left over even with the three women and two men in our party. For drinks the rum runner was good but the strawberry dacquiri was not. The lemonade was watered down and not good so I could not take advantage of the free refills with the souviner cup. I would recommend driving to a better restaurant or bar if you are in the area.

A favorite locals spot and neighborhood staple that has grown and expanded to meet the demand of those who enjoy great ribs and seafood, and thereby becoming a chain. Everything is fresh and filling, tasty and served with a smile. You can’t go wrong with any of their appetizers. The nachos are layered and piled so high that diners wow as they were brought out to tables. The rockin rib rolls are crispy spring rolls filled with rib meat, filling and tasty served with jalapeño ranch for dipping. Middlenecks are fresh and plenty of brew on tap! Every time I’m here, I look over the menu, consider the possibilities, and then proceed to opt for one of the following favorites: rack of ribs, mahi filet, philly cheese steak, or any of their burgers, all cooked to order precisely as you like it and served up with your choice of sides(potato, rice, veggies, salad). Complimentary cole slaw is available upon request … so request it because it’s fresh, tasty, and a refreshing accompaniment to any of their meals! Other popular choices in my circle include the pasta salad, prime rib when avail, or the Cajun chicken pasta with garlic rolls– so good. They consistently serve up what I define as comfort food. Drink specials, a late night happy hour, and a great game watching spot that promises a good experience and a complete meal. Smart casual dining for all ages. Bonus– they have a liquor store next door too.

This is a great location, always decorated to the fullest with whatever current festivities are in the season. There aren’t many options in east Pompano for late dinners or drinks so Flanigan’s totally rocks! They serve until around 1am. The bartenders are friendly, especially Fred, he’s a cool dude. By no means is this gourmet food, this is a chain casual place, I have to laugh when I read reviews about people complaining about their Pasta dishes not being great, this is Flanigan’s! Their specialties are beer, drinks, wings, ribs, burgers and the delicious curly fries! Don’t come here expecting your pasta to taste Italian authentic, better yet skip the pasta and get the specialties I mentioned above. Also, their prime-rib is pretty good. Not only do they serve late, they offer a late night Happy Hour! 9pm to close 7 days a week.

Flanigan’s is a big chain and though any restaurant that’s part of a big chain spooks me, I generally like the ambiance and fun type atmosphere of most Flanigan’s, with this location in particular. The décor is clearly nautical, plenty of fish mounts, memorabilia, some kicky looking surf boards, mellow lighting and a warm wood panel interior. Basically a décor and place conducive to enjoyable good times and fun. I’ve also always found the service to be exceptionally good. The food however is another matter. Passable, sort of OK, but that’s about it. I had a number of their fish dishes which were OK, but nothing special or unique. During my last stop, which was the basis for this review, I went for their best known dish, the one they prize themselves about, being their ribs. They were certainly meaty and as advertised did indeed have the tender falling off of the bone quality about them, but to my taste rather tasteless, bland, without any smoke flavor or barbecue quality. Then if you try to pep it up a bit, you’ll find that they only have one squirt bottle of sauce on the table which doesn’t accomplish anything since it’s basically a sweet sauce lacking in zest. The bar drinks I’ve had are all rather good and I note that they generally use a better quality of booze for their standard or well drinks than do many other establishments. Better yet, they have a decent price reduced happy hour. Because of the food, I could never be much of a fan of Flanigan’s, only going Two Stars. But, with their fun like décor, good service and rather decent drinks, I’ll stretch it to Three Stars which is just saying they’re OK, but not exactly an «A» OK; just an OK.
