Bronx Luggage Store

This place seems to offer out-​of-​manufacture luggage at pretty cheap prices. There is nothing wrong with the luggage, it just happens to be colors that the manufacturers have discontinued, or styles they are no longer making, etc.
The owner or his son always seems to be in the store — a nice touch. Its also somewhat fun as this is one place that likes to haggle. Not quite the Arab market in Jerusalem, but still a good back and forth. Even at list prices, they are pretty cheap.
I was last there 8 years ago. I’m poretty hard on luggage, between 2 – 3 domestic trips a month a a few side trips to China here and there. The luggage I bought there last time served me well. Based on that and the owners, I would only expect the same from this.
8 ears from now, I’ll probably need new luggage. I hope they will still be there.

terrific place. tons of luggage from bottom to top of line. very knowledgeable guys and very willing to share info so you can make an informed decision.
since we were visiting from tx we didn’t buy but i later called and ordered by phone. they honored the terrific price quoted at the store and shipped it at a reasonable price. luggage arrived within days and was exactly what i wanted.
will use them again for sure.
