A warm and friendly environment. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter, Will, was perfect.

I took my company there Saturday night for pizza we had Kelly for a waitress she was delightful and the pizza was wonderful so she wanted to go back last night for dinner so we get a waiter who could not care if we lived or died and he had regular customers he gave most of his attention to she ordered veal parm the husband ordered chicken parm and I ordered chicken picatta with garlic and oil pasta, we had to ask twice for silverware and twice for garlic rolls he seemed annoyed we asked so dinner comes and mine is veal picatta so I tell him I ordered chicken and he shows me the pad he wrote it on and it says veal everyone heard me order chicken and he says so what do you want me to do with a attitude take it back? I didn’t want to wait because everyone had their dinner, it was delicious and the night would have been perfect if we didn’t have him as a waiter.

Complimentary garlic bread was nasty, had no flavor at all, But the pizza on the other hand was amazing. Me and two others shared a medium pizza(8 slices) and it came with our choice of 5 toppings(plenty to choose from). I also order the mozzarella cheese sticks and they were pretty good.

Pizza is excellent! My father kept telling me to try The pizza when down visiting Florida. Finally did and we liked it so much we ordered it 2 nights in a row! Medium with pepperoni and mushroom cooked well done. Did carryout and pizza was still delicious when we got it home!

The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant, EVER! I have worked in the food industry for 15 years. I understand as well as anyone how crap can happen. Kitchens can go down, wait staff can pocket orders(forget them) but it is never ok to be this rude to your guests. I am still dumbfounded! The waitress was just short of rude, but not even the problem. After ordering we waited an hour for two pizzas. When we asked(nicely) where the food was the waitress gestured around and asked if we could see that they were busy. My mother asked for the manager. We were told he was too busy to deal with us. So she went up to the front to speak to someone. She came back and told us we had been asked to leave. I was dumbfounded. We hadn’t been rude, loud, or made any mess. We gathered our things to leave. Thinking that there must have been some sort of misunderstanding I asked to talk to the manager on the way out and to offer to pay for our sodas. A man told me he was the owner and that they were too busy to deal with us. We could get the hell out, and if we didn’t like it we could call 911. I still can’t understand it. Who deals with customers this way? We have been going to the Big Louie’s on sunrise since I was a child. We love that place. Stick to another restaurant in the franchise. This place has problems!

I have had Big Louie’s food in the past(pasta smothered in oil and sauce), but figured I would give the pizza a try. Strike 1 — My boyfriend and I asked if we could do half & half on their«specialty pizzas.» The waitress explained they cannot do that; only on the regular toppings, which makes no sense, unless the pizzas are pre-made, which would be bad. Strike 2 — Man, their pizzas are SMALL! We ordered the«medium» Chicken Alfredo and Spinach Pizza. This pizza cost around $ 15.00 and looked like the size of a personal pizza. We were pretty shocked. Strike 3 — Some employees there were openly cursing; not really good etiquette. In addition, our waitress took quite a while to check on us(the place was not that crowded) and gave us the impression that we were taking up her time or something. I have looked at some other reviews, and it seems like there are several low-ratings for several locations. For a company that has been serving for almost 30 years, how are you still in business? Time to re-vamp!

The reason that I’m giving five stars for this place, is because they have a singularly traditional Italian restaurant. They have simple decorations; they play traditional Italian music; they have a very nice people working and smile when they talk with you. But for me the must import today was even the fact that they are simple, the food is amazing and they don’t have this weird smell at the restaurant. Some places are so worry to be sophisticates and they forget how to be natural, full of flavor. For so good price and quiet place to have a romantic dinner. You don’t need to scream to talk. I loved! I hope more people enjoy like me today!

If you don’t mind waiting an hour and a half go ahead and order delivery. I think the driver is still driving around looking for my house. And not the greatest apologies from the person at the restaurant. Never again Louie!

Horrible customer service on the phone. The person on the phone, was rude and sorta on the dumb side. I kept saying street and he kept on saying three, which made no sense in our conversation. I would rather just go and use Rockets Pizza or even Dominios(which is just sad). Mediocre food and now just plain horrible customer service no thank you. Also the drivers doing deliveries take forever and are extremely unappreciative when you give them pretty hefty tips.

I am a big lover of authentic Italian joints. I have tried maybe 20 in the last year alone, so when I got wind of this place being okay, I decided I would give it a shot. I ordered the dinner lasagna, 12.95 comes with soup and bread knots. The delivery driver was nice enough, but after an 80% tip went without even a thank you, I was a little put off. Regardless, the guy was probably in a rush I get it. SO, the lasagna size was absolutely measly, They should be embarrassed charging that much for a pasta that is barely the size of my palm. But again, if the portions are small but the sauce is good, I can get over it! Only problem was, the sauce was the absolute WORSTEXCUSEFORMARINARA I HAVEEVERENCOUNTERED. I am not exaggerating, I am talking about Chef Boyardee bad. Straight out of the can and you can TRULY taste it. Such a plain disappointment that I paid for this. The soup was watered down and beyond bland. The only redeeming quality was the garlic knots. Those were actually really good. As far as their pasta goes, stay SO far away from this place it is generic with NOTHOUGHT what so ever put into the marinara. Marinara is such a huge part of Italian dining and they failed terribly with it. Lesson learned I suppose.

I live very near to Big Louie’s and have ordered from them a lot! Overall it has been OK until the last two experiences. The Frutti de Mare pasta dish was dry and we called to advise and they didn’t care. I always order the Chicken Parmigiana but they nickel and dime you for everything. They charge an extra $ 3 to have angel hair pasta, $ 3 for meat sauce. They always place the pasta on top of the Parmigiana and you lose all the cheese so I asked to have the Parmigiana and pasta in separate containers and I was told that would be an extra charge and that was it for me. I completely felt that it was just too much. I am now a fan of Sicilian Oven nearby!

Don’t listen to all these other jokers. They’re not purebred Italians like yours truly. Our server, Taryn, was a princess. She may be short on height, but she was big on love and waitressing skill. The manicotti was outstanding. The eggplant rollatini? Splendid. The garlic knots? Out of this world. The portions? Huge. Huuuge. The room was a bit dark, but do you really want to feel like you’re in a Best Buy while eating yourself into a food coma? I know I don’t. And this jabroni who claims to have had to use his phone as a flashlight is either blind or a liar. The brightness is thoroughly inconsequential to your dining experience. The bottom line is you’re not going to find a better, more comfortable place to eat delicious Italian Food. The Olive Garden says«when you’re here, you’re family.» Well, that’s actually true at Big Louie’s.

Very good. Tucked away small building but perfect for what we were looking for. Little dark inside had to use phone flashlight to see menu. The garlic knots are to die for !! Are 3 baskets with 5 of us! The marina sauce was bland but added some salt and it was perfect. The portions were huge! Take home boxes for all of us. The server Lynn was great. She explained Specials and very pleasant. We for sure would visit again. Four stars only because of the dark room and salt needed. Neither which would stop us from going back.

I have eaten at the rest. several times and it was good. However, I called for delivery and the food and pizza came looking like it was picked off the floor. I asked to have it taken back and to do again. No problem… Of which I tipped the delivery person $ 5. The 2nd delivery was worse! Again I sake to return… No problem… And another $ 5. The 3rd time the food & pizza were still frozen??? I said I am not paying. The owner called me and screamed and cursed and said never call there again. I gave another $ 5 to delivery person. So he made $ 15 and I made an enemy. What’s up with that? Even the delivery person was embarrassed for me. The owner yelled for me never to go or order there again. I think I will take his advice & so should everyone. I was warned by several neighbors about this place being inconsistent, dirty and rude. How they remain in business is amazing? Must be high turn-over of residents in area… I like this service of Unilocal to let people know about the practices of this manner.

I met a friend for lunch after being away from the area for many years. I remembered BL’s to be a great go-to for Chicken Marsala and garlic rolls(which i had just mentioned to my husband not too ling ago that I had a craving for it). Unfortunately, not this time. Soon after we finally ordered(because we were too busy jawing), we received the garlic rolls which were super hard. Our server was awesome though, she had a fresh batch made and they were brought our piping hot and fresh. The Chicken Marsala was not what it used to be. The Marsala was super thick and salty and there weren’t very many mushrooms. Although I enjoyed the lunch because I got to catch up with my old friend, I left still longing for BL’s. :(

An A-Ok spot to grab a pizza or pasta dish. Quite consistent over the years and some of my favorite garlic rolls around. Generous toppings, always hot and fresh,. Service is friendly and polite, on the phone and in person. It may not be what it was«back in the day» but it’s still a spot that deserves some fanfare. The eggplant rollatini appetizer is win, and so is their cannoli(I get one pretty much every time)!
