This place is the best Italian café I have ever been to. The ingredients are good quality, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve never had a better caprese sandwich. The bread is so so good. I will become a regular at this place, I’m sure.

My family loves this place and it’s the real deal. The sandwiches are yummy, the cappuccinos divine, the cannolis fugetaboutit!

A place for you to stop by pretty much any time of the day. Clean and organized. Both their food and beverages are super. People are very nice and friendly. Reasonable price.

Amazing!!! Sandwiches were made with such love & so tasty! Just like when I was in Italy. Owner Louie was so sweet and great to talk to!!! And his wife makes all the focaccia bread from scratch– Bellissimo!

This is the best café experience I had ever. The owners are an Italian couple. They are very nice people. They baked everything and cooked everything for you. The coffees are from heaven, the desserts are from other planet and the sandwiches and salads are so fresh and had the best quality. Every Time you go, you feel you are in Italy, lot of people speaking Italian. Such a warm and cozy place. You can’t miss it!!!

This is the Italian coffee shop you open in the suburbs in Italy. The coffee is excellent, the iced espresso is unbelievable and the food is first rate. In addition to the traditional, they also have a lot of goodies baked on the premises. There is a great range of sweets and candies as well as some true Italian grocery items. They sell chinotto and nougat. Tony is the right guy to be making the coffee his son is a good bloke. Fabulous coffee. It’s also a good place for the soccer fans to congregate… three TVs.

They have the best italian sandwiches! The meats, cheese, and bread tastes so fresh. They make their own bread and you can taste the difference! I feel like i’m back in italy when visiting. They also make great cappuccinos and homemade pastries. A must visit!

I stop by at least once a weekend. If it was on my way to work, I’d probably be here every day.
The espresso is rich but very smooth. These guys know what they are doing.
The prosciutto panini as delicious. I get that every time.
I’m also a big soccer fan and love that of there are BPL games on, I can see them there. They play European national games too.
Be sure to take a couple minutes to enjoy your beverage while you’re there if you can. There is always a place to sit.

This place is great! A little neighborhood gem tucked away among the shiny lights of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.
It’s a large space for what you expect to be a small shop but it’s very authentic. There are various Italian products to purchase and the menu is short but strong.
I got a latte and it was perfectly done, served in glass… The way you expect it to be. I can’t wait to go back and have one of the delicious paninis!

Found the restaurant using Unilocal.Great place for coffee and lunch. The double cappuccino and vanilla chai latte were very smooth with no hint of bitterness. My wife and I split the mortadella panini. Both of us was very satisfied. It was great walking in and a local group of man sitting in the corner sipping coffee and speaking Italian. Great and friendly service. Good prices and fast service. Highly recommended.

Their coffee is on point. The macchiato was made the traditional way with espresso and a spoon of foam on top. The sandwiches were amazing and the gentleman working there sliced the meat per order. It has a modern feel and is very open and airy. It offers goods from Italy from stove top coffee makers to cookies. It’s not every day in Sofla that you hear both the staff and patrons speaking Italian; so cool! I definitely plan on coming back.

Wanted some quick coffee before work and decided to go with this place from all the great reviews on Unilocal.The place looks like a coffee shop straight out of Italy! I remember going to the tiny coffee shops in Italy where the people are nice and warm, the pastries are soft and fluffy, and the cappuccino and hot and strong! This place was just that!
I walked in to be immediately greeted by a man with a very strong Italian accent who took my order right away. Make my coffee in seconds and served me my chocolate croissant. The price was very reasonable! I paid and sat down to enjoy my breakfast. While eating you can watch some Italian programs or just listen to the owners chit chat in Italian (idk about you but I love a blast of culture).

Just like the Italian bars at home. Good coffee and great lemon granita. The place is nothing special but the coffee is so good. The way an espresso should be. Not like Starbucks. This is the real deal

This place is LEGIT. If you know anything at all about italian espresso, have been to italy or want to go, you MUST go to this place. Roma Caffe is as authentic old world Italian caffe as it gets without actually having to buy a ticket to Italy. Complete with Italian guys telling stories and fresh made bread /​panini, you won’t be disappointed. Also, the espresso is PROPER.

This is an authentic Italian establishment with amazing food. If you are a coffee lover, then anything from the espresso (which is so good that doesn’t need sugar) to the creamy cappuccino will satisfy your caffeine craving. Order a cornetto (croissant) to accompany your coffee, you won’t regret it. Both the homemade and imported cornettos are great. Try any of the panini (sandwich) made with fresh ingredients and homemade bread. For the most part everything is either homemade or imported from Italy. Whatever you do make sure you have a cannolo (if you are already full then take one to go and have it later at home). I guarantee you will be back. I only wish it was closer to where I live so that I could frequent it more often. It reminds me of the little café that was around the corner near my grandfather’s house in Italy.

How good is this place! Italian, authentic, best coffee I’ve had in Florida. On our way back again today. Espresso and cappuccino are off the charts. I am a coffee lover and you will not be disappointed by the coffee at this little shop.

Looking for a place to grab a bite for a meeting I came across them on Unilocal.
Walking in, the place isn’t too big — but still had plenty of room. There were a couple of large groups — speaking Italian to each other. That let me know this place was legit.
All of the sandwiches/​dishes are numbered on the menu. I went with the mozzarella, prosciutto, tomato sandwich. It was great! I’ve had this sandwich a million times — at home and other sandwich places — and the reason I think it was a little better has to do with how great the bread was. A friend told me the bread is made fresh daily and they use flour they import from Italy.
Not the best service — the gentleman that took care of us at the counter left me waiting there for a while to pay. He was talking to some of the guests (seemed like regulars) and finally when he noticed me he rushed over. No small talk — no sorry… just cashed me out. It’s all good, for a quick in and out I can deal with them not being the nicest in the world.
I’ll be down in this area quite often — I’ll drop in for a coffee soon!

If you are looking for a mega size equivalent to a Starbucks coffee order 2. However, the coffee was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had (almost Portland good)
There was a little older man working, he was fantastic! He was so nice & friendly!
I ordered the prosciutto panini & was not disappointed! Everything was so fresh & tasty!
I will definitely be back!

Why doesn’t this place have more reviews? You people in southern Florida obviously aren’t big Unilocalers. You should be because that’s how I found this little gem!
My fiancé and I were visiting Pompano, and of course we needed our coffee fix. Looking for a cute local shop, we found Antica Roma on Unilocal and decided to check it out.
My fiancé got an espresso and I got a hot soy latte. Both were very good!
The menu looked tasty so my fiancé ordered to prosciutto panini to go. In the car he kept going on and on about how good it was! So, I made a trip back about an hour later to pick up their tuna panini. It was soooo good!
We chatted with the owner a bit. He was very nice and informed me everything there is made fresh– which you can sure taste! They even make their own gelato and sorbet. Yum!
They sell tons of cute and delicious looking things from Italy.
I highly recommend checking them out!

It is like being back in Italy only in Pompano Beach, Florida. Cute and modern little Italian expresso bar with sandwiches and coffee.
I have been here a handful of times now and enjoyed every one! From a quick shot of espresso to a panini or gelato. The taste of the bread and cheese are superb and while I could not wrestle the brand of coffee bean they use from the owners dad he swears to me it is straight from Roma and he roasts them himself. Whatever the case the taste is spot on and while it is not the best I have ever had it has been good enough to have be coming back for more!
the atmosphere is comfortable and the staff friendly. Unlike Italy smoking is limited to outside, but like Italy the old men sit around and talk in Italian while enjoying their espresso.
