Though it say «& Tackle,» tackle is the afterthought. What Aces is and what it excels in is bait. It has every kind of live or frozen bait you’ll ever need for fishing the ocean and water areas of South Florida, including live crabs, goggle eyes, shrimp and pilchards. Also rigged baits, fresh dead, fresh dead frozen, chum and for those travelers who left their fishing gear behind, rod and reel rentals at $ 15/​day.
I shop my bait here not only because of the reasonable prices, the vast selection and above average quality, but more so because their staff tends to be one of the best informational sources around. As they sell the bait, they not only have a pretty good idea of what fish are hitting, what fish aren’t hitting but exactly what bait they are hitting on.
