This place is close to my work and they make great pizza for a good deal. The medium bacon and extra cheese is the bomb

Great pizza at a reasonable price! I’m new to the area and I didn’t want just a chain pizza order this time around and stumbled upon this place. Great pizza sauce and tasty overall.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while but y’all never remember my ranch when I order delivery. It’s like a 50% chance I’ll actually get it. 79 cents I’ve been charged multiple times and no ranch. Please remember the ranch.

The pizza was good, but I ordered it specifically to get a picture on my pizza box because I thought it was quirky and cute my husband and I were all excited to see the surprise drawing and then all we got was a plain old pizza box. Needless to say we were disappointed. The delivery also took pretty long. All in all I wouldn’t have paid the extra had I known I wouldn’t get some fun pizza art!

This pizza is pretty damn good, hella better than expired cheese dominos and greasy pizza hut. The prices at pirates are kind of high but worth it if you use their coupon code and dude it’s just good pizza. The dudes there are chill and delivery is on point.

If you wonder where Pizza Pirates gets their name, it’s from the fact that they rob you of your dignity and steal all your booty in the process. I usually wouldn’t review a place based on delivery, but I just had to after my experience. So we were watching the basketball game at home, and Round Table wouldn’t deliver to our area, so we looked up other pizza places close by. Pizza Pirates had 4 and a half stars on Unilocal,so obviously we’re gonna hit it up! Their online menu featured some good looking options, so we decided to order the Chicken Pesto pizza. They informed us that they don’t have pesto(?). Umm, okay. But at least we had a backup, which was the Tuscan Grotto pizza. They then said that the Signature Pizzas on their online menu are no longer available since no one was ordering them. Instead, customers enjoyed creating their own pizza. Mind you, this is not when I decided to give Pizza Pirates a bad review. So then we got a custom pizza with some ingredients that were similar to the old signature pizzas we had wanted. We got it with chicken, artichoke hearts, garlic butter, mozzarella, and olives. The guy on the phone informed us that this would be a pizza on dough(I guess, as opposed to them just throwing all the ingredients in the box and calling it a day). They told us our total($ 18 for a large) and that we can pay once the pizza delivers. Oh yeah, he said it would be there in 45 minutes. 45 minutes later, we still had no pizza. Our timbers were shivered and our hatches battened down. We waited another 5 minutes and called the place. They informed us that the driver should be calling us in a minute to update us on our delivery. Literally, 30 minutes later, we got a knock on the door, right as we decided to give up on our food and go out to eat. After an hour and 20 minutes, our pizza arrived. Did the delivery boy apologize? No. Did he get a tip? No. Is Pizza Pirates literally a quarter-mile from our house? Yes. Mind you, this is still not when I decided to give Pizza Pirates a bad review. So the pizza was here. We were excited, at least, that we were about to consume a 4-and-a-half star Unilocal reviewed pizza. Now, before I go any further, I’d like to say that I find it incredibly hard to not like pizza. Any pizza, really. Round Table is probably my favorite, but I’ll even eat Little Caesars or Pizza Hut and be satisfied. But this pizza was disgusting. Besides the fact that it was now only lukewarm and the cheese was hardening, the crust was tasteless and the ingredients not fresh. The artichokes tasted canned and the chicken tasted frozen. Aaaaand THIS is when I decided to give a review. I guarantee that I will not be back to Pizza Pirates again. I’m just lucky I didn’t get any scurvy.

Every since my wife and I moved to Pomona we’ve been huge fans of this place. The staff is always friendly and the delivery drivers are some of the funniest, wittiest people you could meet. Every time we order the food is spot on and excellent quality. I made a mention in the ordering instructions online that I haven’t had their pizza in a while since I’ve been dieting heavily, and they wrote an awesome message for me under the box lid. I freaking love this place!!!

Love their pizza and their prices! Our pies have always come out great, not a bad one yet… oh the cheesy goodness!. We usually get peperroni and pizza and chicken wings. We usually get an extra large, a medium and wings all for under $ 30. They also deliver. Love our local pizza place!

We ordered for here for the first time Sunday night and it was excellent! We got a large pizza with a total of 8 toppings, 4 on one side and 4 on the other, along with cheese bread. We ordered online which was super easy and used one of their online coupons. Told us it would be $ 28 and got to us in about 35 minutes. The driver was very pleasant and told us that our order was $ 24. I thought«Uh-oh, they mixed up our order.» Double checked it. And yep, it was ours. Came out cheaper than what the website quoted us. Nice little plus! Tipped the driver(as you ALWAYS should) and he was on his way. The pizza was to die for! Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and the toppings were evenly distributed. Loved it. This will be our pizza spot from now on!

Update! Sandra was nice enough to get back to us about the mistake and credited us $ 30 for our next order. We used it Sunday and I was very pleased. Everything this time around was correct and as ordered. The food was great! Just as I remembered from our previous orders. However I believe the pizza could use more sauce, but I’ll have to note that in our next order. I applaud them for the customer service as most companies won’t go that extra mile to make things right, but pizza pirates sure did. We will definitely be back.

Not bad… their pizza is actually good. We had our pizza delivered and we thought it was funny how our delivery guy was dressed… not that he looked funny but he was trendy, not in uniform or anything… we liked that. Any way we ordered hawaiian and meat lovers, they hook it up with sauce, cheese, toppings and dough. I love pizza and i would have eaten the whole pie, unfortunately i had to share. Chicken waaangs is good too… saucey.

Amazing pizza, with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and fresh garlic, very tasty. Very small take out place. I can see where they put there money into, the pizza’s. Have been going to Jojo’s pizza for years, and the pizza’s are hit and miss, considering the prices, the standard should always be the same.

Pizza Pirates is somewhere in between a chain pizza joint, and a mom and pop run joint. My family and I ordered the following pizzas: –Ultimate: house made pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, Italian sausage, sliced mushrooms, green bell peppers, red onions, and black olives($ 14.95 for a large): Good! This was really good. Think of an ultimate supreme pizza and this is what you get. –All American: house made pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, Italian sausage, crispy bacon and steak($ 14.95 for a large): Really meaty, but good. I thought the steak was a little chewy, but the rest of the pizza was good. –Bbq wings($ 8.99 for 10): These were great. Nice smokey flavor to the wings and their ranch dressing was bomb. I love wings, so the bbq wings were a nice change to the usual buffalo style ones. I really enjoyed the pizza here. The dough had a nice chew to it. They offer a wide range of eclectic, and fresh ingredients. It’s a nice break from the regular chains, and you’re not paying a premium for good quality pizza. They offer pages upon pages of crazy, and really weird, pizza combinations that I am slightly intrigued to try. Workers are friendly, prices are reasonable — what more could you want?

As a local small business owner myself, I was happy to see that they left a little note about my cat(which I mentioned in their notes). Not only are they having fun with the customers it shows that they’re paying close attention of details of every customers order. The pizza itself was awesome also.

This is our favorite pizza joint. Originally, we HAD to at least see a menu because of the name. Then, after looking at the menu full of pizza named with the same theme(Mizzenmast, Landlubber, Me Hearties Meatball), we HAD to try a couple of the pizzas. Are we glad we did, the pizza is tasty, and even I being a thin crust lover, love all the different types of non-thin crust they use here. Try it out if you are in the area!

Can anyone tell me the reason you don’t deliver to Diamond Bar(the boarder of Phillips Ranch off of Temple and Mission)? I still love you guys, but really wish we could get delivery!
