One of the best deli in Rockland county Great fresh food if you want to buy prepared food to take home this is your place. Great breakfast sandwiches. There food is always fresh and they also have a bakery. No place to sit down and eat.

I’ve only had breakfast at this place so I can’t speak for what the rest of their food is like. One word to describe what their breakfast sandwiches are like? Amazing. I always tell my friends it’s like they sell legalized crack lol (but really, I know one person is going to take what I said way too seriously. They DON’T actually sell drugs) I always get sausage, egg and cheese and I choose a plain bagel. Their bagels are so chewy it gets stuck in your teeth so bring lots of toothpicks! As I’m sitting here writing this review, I just decided I’m gonna go grab a breakfast sandwich lol You won’t be disappointed if you come here!

Great place so close to home! Half Deli with great breakfast and lunch options. I do love how I can text my order and it’s ready by the time I get there; cuts my time if I’m running late to work or just in a rush. Half Bakery with delicious cakes, pastries and cookies… I’ve never been disappointed and every time I bring dessert to a friend’s house it is always a hit! Yum!

Amazing deli in garnerville! Love their boars head sandwiches, always really fresh. Also tried their hot subs which are good also. They also have sandwich specials time to time. A little bit pricey, but you pay for good quality.

Great food, but definitely overpriced! Maybe due to paying too many employees behind the counter to look busy. $ 7.50 for Tuna salad on a roll, and another $ 1.75 for a bottled water. On top of that 2 out of 3 times they are out of round rolls, so I’m not even getting what I came for… which is what prompted my review today. Please start ordering more!!! (That’s if the owner bothers to read these comments, he’s too busy talking up all his friends that come in.) Next time I’ll just go right to the source (Rockland Bakery) and for ½ the price. A few tables to sit at would be nice too.

Recently my family suffered a loss, there were many arrangements to make including where to eat between viewings. We decided to cater from Mountain View deli so we could accommodate the entire family. We ordered online without speaking to anyone. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious; the person who delivered and set up was courteous and accommodating. I would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Deli and I would highly recommend them for all of your catering needs.

Been a customer here for years. The deli is a bit expensive but they have great food! Love the Boars Head cold cuts. Breakfast sandwiches are great and not a long wait early in the morning.

Last year I went to this deli to order the advertised breakfast special.
Which included egg with cheese and bacon or sausage, with a small coffee.
The price was like $ 4.00. I placed my order and told them that I did not want cheese on the sandwich.
When I went to pay for my order the price was well over the listed breakfast special price. When I inquired why it was more money, the owner, Chris, responded I did not order the special because I did not get cheese on my sandwich. We then both began to argue about the price (the difference was like .50 cent). He still would not charge me the special price. I finally walked out leaving my order on the counter. I have not been back since. They lost a customer, over a slice of cheese.
Also for a deli, they are extremely over priced.

I have been a loyal customer for the last 7 years. They were a really good deli a couple of years ago but they have been going down hill for a while now. We would always order breakfast sandwiches, but have noticed that the bagels are too doughy, the bacon is too greasy, the hashbrown is too oily and it makes for a yucky breakfast sandwich. Customer service also has gone down hill. When you try to order a hero that is not on the menu they give you attitude and act like they are doing you favor by making you the sandwich. I used to love this place, but not anymore. They need to get it together. They are expensive to boot.

I have been an extremely satisfied customer of Mountain View Deli for many, many years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is courteous and friendly. The prepared foods are always fresh and delicious as are their baked goods and cold cuts. You can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch or dinner from them. I’ve had Mt. View Deli cater many celebrations and was totally pleased with the service and the food. I highly recommend Mt. View Deli to my family and friends and they have been thrilled.

Food is good and very friendly staff, HOWEVER, most overpriced deli I have ever been to. Paid a little over $ 4 for 2 eggs and ham breakfast sandwich which is absurd (Rockland Bakery — 2.75 and just as good). The prices of sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch, are seldom listed. You don’t even know what you will pay until its too late and your at the register. Suggests that profits are a primary concern… what kind of deli doesn’t list prices for everything this isn’t Morton’s? Many delis in Rockland are just as good if not better, will not go back to be ripped off again. (Luigi O’Grady’s in Pearl River is the best deli in Rockland at a significant price difference, hint, they are not completely profit driven).

The BOBO (bacon, egg, cheese and hash brown sandwich) is to die for. The salads are amazing. The sandwiches are fantastic. I eat at least 2 or 3 meals a week from this deli because I am completely addicted. I would definitely say this is the best deli in Rockland, hands down.

Got a sandwich here the other day. Was overwhelmed at first, because it was very busy, and there were multiple counters. One of the guys behind the counter asked what I wanted, and I wasn’t sure, and kind of mumbled a few ingredients, chicken, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato. I asked what kind of breads were available, and he went into a long list, I wound up with focaccia. Then he asked if I wanted some pesto on it as well, with the focaccia toasted… and I fell in love. He read my mind.
Sandwich was delicious! The guy was very friendly as well, asked what I was doing in the area, etc. Will definitely stop back by if I’m in the area again.
Tips: No tables, so plan for take-out only. And, though I didn’t try any, the dessert case looked heavenly.
