I only had the pleasure of working here for a short amount of time, but I loved all the beautiful dresses and the friendly environment. I learned a lot from the boss about stock/​inventory and how to provide exceptional customer service even in a challenging situation. I believe this company is full of opportunity and gives the platform for young professionals to learn. The knowledge I gained from this company assisted me in finding a manager position elsewhere so I give a them 4 stars!

I am a employee there for 4 years, it is a great place to work. It is a international company with over 1200 employees and i am happy to be part of the team. If she has a problem go to EDD which is a proper Chanel instead of complaining in Unilocal.Get life

Would give 0 stars if I could. EVERYONE Listen to Joanne C. She is not lying. This company is trying to do the same thing to my girlfriend. She only worked there for like 2 or 3 days and couldn’t stand it because of the immaturity and lack of professionalism of the females in the office (wouldn’t be surprised if thats why Joanne left too). He never paid her and now he’s not answering her calls at all as well. Legally, if an employee without a written employment contract for a definite period of time quits without giving 72 hours prior notice, he or she must be paid all of his or her wages, including accrued vacation, within 72 hours of quitting [Labor Code Section 202]. This never happened.
We’re adults, and we’re not into playing games, so she’ll be sending him a certified letter (so there is proof of receipt) indicating that he owes her payment for her hours worked. On the letter, he will be given a timeframe to respond. If he don’t respond within the aforementioned timeframe, our next step will be contacting the State of CA Labor Board. He probably thinks these girls he hires are young single mothers that dont want to take the time to file a complaint with the Labor Board, but he picked the wrong one when he messed with my girl. She’s not going to just let this go. that money belongs to her. She earned it.
If you worked for this guy, and he didn’t pay you, DO NOT LET IT SLIDE. Joanne C, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LET THIS GO. He is hoping all this just goes away, but you are an American Citizen, you have rights. I don’t know where this guy is from, but he will learn about the Labor Laws in this country real quick, if you take action. There are people you can contact that can help. If you own this place and you’re reading this, you should ask yourself, «Is being a cheapskate really worth all this?». Is damaging your business reputation really worth it? Is it really worth being fined and sanctioned by the CA Labor Board? Is it worth losing business/​customers because your credibility as a human being is being negatively talked about online? Is shafting people out of a couple days of work worth all this? Seriously, this guy better make things right. Otherwise, the state of CA labor board will make sure he does. Karma ALWAYS comes back around. I promise you that. Especially considering there is multiple claims on his Unilocal page substantiating the claims of these ladies. Not looking too good for him…
If you’re the type of person who roots for the «little guy», and you’re tired of corporate establishments trying to take advantage of workers, then DONT SHOP HERE. If you support Workers’ Rights, then DONT SHOP HERE… If you don’t like seeing single moms getting screwed over at the hands of greedy/​undermining business owners, then DONT SHOP HERE… There are plenty of other places that sell dresses. Places where the owners actually take care of their employees and aren’t out to screw over American citizens. Oh yea, I almost forgot, DONT SHOP HERE…
