Carnaval

I’m highly disappointed with this place. I was there about 2 week ago. The worst shittiest service was given to me there by all the waitress staff. I was on vacation coming from the Bay Area. & my cousin had heard from one of her clients that it was a good place to go to. So we decided upon «Carnaval» to go out for a girls night out. Parking was $ 20 entrance was $ 20. We get there & directly head to the bar to buy a bucket of beer. So, we ask a waitress for a table. She disappears for a good 15 mins leaves us standing waiting to be seated & we’re observing her moves. She’s just walking around conversing with people. She finally comes back & says she only has tables for bottle service.(there were plenty of tables that were open). & walks she walks away. So we ask a different waitress and the same thing happens she takes long to get back to us & says in order to be seated we would have to purchase from her a minimum of two buckets. So we explained how we already bought one and would be purchasing another. So she says no. That’s wouldn’t work since we purchase it directly from her, just from the back bar.& walks away. We try talking to the bartender & he’s trying to be helpful & says to just sit down it shouldn’t be a problem. As soon as we do so, up comes a rude waitress giving attitude in her exact words she said «just so you guys know, if I get a party I’m kicking you guys off the table» & walks away. At that point we are all fed up with this shitty service. We sat down in two tables & all the waitresses were being rude. All we wanted to do is sit down since we had high heels on and we wanted to chill and drink and listen to music. My cousin ended up speaking to the manager. & he came to an agreement of just buying another bucket of beer and we would be OK to be seated. We went through all this unnecessary shit for nothing. they weren’t even worth me purchasing anymore business from them. I was so in love with the LA nightlife that I thought was Wayy better then the bay nightlife. But I was wrong. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY IN THE BAY! Waitresses made it seem like they needed to be tipped frequently in order to give you good costumer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you’re tired from dancing and want to sit down for a bit this is not the place to go. If you’re not purchasing a certain amount of beverages THEY’LL RATHER HAVE YOU SIT ON THE FLOOR BEFORE YOU SIT AT A TABLE.

The costumer service was phenomenal also the server was very friendly and polite, I will definitely go back to the place again.

One of my best friends is very anti social so I convinced her to come out with me. We get to the club and the guys checking for ID’s make a «fat joke» about her. My friend was very upset so we left right away

Bartender wouldn’t accept my debit card because it had that chip on it…
Mind you, all debit cards are being made that way…
Anyway, so I go to the atm machine downstairs and would do u know? It’s not working. So if you want to drink THAT bad you gotta go next door to the pizza place and use that ATM.
The venue has no freakin ventilation. So if feels like it’s 1,000 degrees in there.
If you wanna pay a $ 20 entrance fee and $ 20 for valet parking might as well drive an extra 30 – 45 and go to LA.

Very bad customer service the waitress had a bad attitude and didn’t explain the prices for the bottles and buckets… the security is very rude and pushy they treat everyone like garbage and honestly the cover charge is not worth it 20 $ to get in this isn’t some club in Hollywood it’s not that great plus there drink prices are off the charts. to run a business you need to hire people with respect and dignity. instead you hire people who don’t care about there paying customers

This place is awful. My sister got hit by a bunch of guys and the security’s dint do anything. this place is not a good safe place at all. never again going also it’s a very dirty club with bad service.

I came to this club for my birthday and i was really excited just because ive heard so many good things about this club. The music its self was really good both english and Spanish, the only thing that really bugged me was that the dance floors were really small and there was ALOT of drunk people so you couldnt really shake it off. I would only go back to this place if they paid for me if not i wouldnt go again

This place is whatevers. The band waant up yet and people started 2 dance toward 1030. But I don’t like how the fat girl Alejandra was being rude saying me and my sister can’t sit at a table cause all of them are reserved when they were all clearly empty. She didn’t even throw my drink away when I was leaving cause I couldn’t find a trash can then she was talking crap to me on my way down the stairs. She gives people horrible service. She got me scared when I was walking down the stairs. she told me she was going to push me down just cause I kept staring at her!!!

I always heard about this club, but never got around to go. Well went finally last Saturday is it was packed! You couldn’t dance on the main floor really it was like rocking back and forth basically. There were so many tables, it was annoying. They charged 20 $ females and males if you didn’t have a text, PRICEY! The greeter who took our money had a little attitude even though I was being extremely nice.
Once inside, it felt very muggy, They had no A/​C and smell of sweaty people everywhere, eww. Bathrooms were decent for a busy nightclub. A lot of sloppy drunk guys at the bar trying to grab on to you while you stand or dance with friends, be prepared!
Overall it was very fun, especially the live Bandas, and the DJ was really good! Found a way to enjoy myself, despite the tight space! Will go again soon!

This place is OK. The only problem I had with it was my friends and I already bought a table but I was not there yet, I walk in and the lady asks for 20 $. I preceded to say we already bought a table I am just meeting up with them, and she still says no you got to pay the full price of entry on top of paying for a table. I asked if there was any other way and she referred me to the manager who was able to help me get in without paying for the cover, a little Hassel but nothing to serious.
The live bands are great sounding, they have two dance floors one for banda music and reggaton from what I listened to on the other dance floor. We had a table so we made our own drinks, I’m used to getting a table and a waitress makes drinks for you but again nothing big.
Overall good atmosphere, probably won’t go again just because of the 20 $ entry charge after 10 and parking was really hard to find I actually had to valet. For this money and trouble I’d rather go to LA it would cost around the same to get in.

First time here and let me say the lady at the front Dulce was so rude! We sent a text to be on the VIP list only to arrive and be told by this girl that it wasn’t valid. The flyer didn’t specify anything and there wasn’t that much information. They wanted us to pay and it wasn’t even 10 pm yet. They had us speak to the «promoter» but he didn’t accommodate us in any way. The place looks a little dirty to be honest. Never again. Stay away! This place needs to train their employees on better customer service.

No way is this club where i want to have fun… first of all it was not a very friendly atmosphere and i won’t be coming back. All they play is the same music over and over. Their drinks are expensive and watery (tasted like sewage) and cover was $ 20!just to pay even more for my watered down drink! The words: TOO MUCH STRESS

Came here for my birthday recently and had a great time! They have 2 floors, friendly staff and great music! Great experience !!

This place is fun if you love Mexican music. They mostly play that kind of music and the second room plays different genres. When the bands are on their break or they are preparing to leave they do play different music. This place is always packed when I go. Its a lot fun I love it I enjoy dancing to Mexican music.

I was there last night and I must admit I won’t mind going back. This place is pretty cool. They have two dance floors. One was playing 80s and rock en español and the other was playing hip hop.
They had a bar on each side of the club for each dance floor section. I was taken care of by a beautiful young lady who apart from her good looks was on point with giving good service. The securities were also cool and didn’t give that nasty look at you like others do. I can’t remember their specials but I know that when we arrived I got 8 newcastles for $ 24 which is pretty good for a club like that. Ohh yeah the entrance fee was $ 8 but it was still cool. I do recommend you to check it out.

Paid $ 72 for a 12 pack of modelos, was alone, waiting for friends, i had 2 then went out to dance, when i went back to the table only 6 beers were in the bucket, someone stoled 4, whatever not going to let it get to me, my friends arrived ordered more beer and party, the banda was cool, the dj played crappy music in between the bandas, over all it was ok, not planning on going back anytime soon.

Service really sucked but what can you expect… did not like the music the sound was horrible!

This place is horrible. Got there one minute after 10 with text and dumb girl at counter wouldn’t let me in for free. Maybe if she wasn’t arguing with everyone in line before us we would have gotten in on time.

This review was originally posted for 340 Nightclub because I set my GPS for there but we accidentally ended up coming in here.
$ 8 if you’re over 21 to get in the door. ($ 2 if you had a flyer of sorts?) Took 30 minutes when the club was empty on the inside. Why? I don’t know. The crowd didn’t start going until 11 pm and we got in at 9:25. Okay, pretty typical. They have 2 dance floors, the larger one mostly playing oldies practically the whole night until a band got on stage (which we weren’t interested in, sorry.)
The smaller floor played more modern music until midnight. No EDM, no pop. Mostly music you hear on 105.9, which I ABSOLUTELY hate. How the hell do you dance to that shit? I’m thinking that their choice in music is what attracted that crowd, (or it could possibly be the area’s demographics) but we were scared for our lives with the thugs that were in there. We actually saw a guy with teardrop tattoos and another asked my friend if he could give her a death stare — no joke. He was being serious and stared her down from across the room for a good 15 minutes and then we spent the rest of the night trying to avoid him. Another thing about their crowd — I saw a bunch of girls walked in there with jeans and a button up shirt. Isn’t there a dress code?
We didn’t get drinks so I can’t leave a review for the bartenders but the photographer, and 2 bouncers we encountered that night were pretty cool! One of the DJs was really chill and hung out with us for a bit. Wish I knew which DJ it was.
tl;dr — Club was full of mostly oldies and ratchet music + crowd but awesome staff. Don’t know about their drinks. The crowd scared us off so badly that we won’t be coming back.

I come here sometimes on Thursday nights for their «ROCK IT «event which is a 80s night. DJ plays things like the smiths, joy division, depeche mode, strokes, Madonna ect.ect. Entrance is $ 8 or FREE if you RSVP on Facebook or bring a flyer if you arrive before 10pm.
The drinks are a decent price. I think they have a drink of the night that costs $ 3 I wanna say? Anyway, it’s not expensive to have a few drinks here. They have two bars and girls walking around taking drink orders and they’re super friendly. They also have a roaming photographer so be prepared to be captured if you’re having a good time.
The thing that I kind of dislike about this event is that you can literally wear whatever you want, except anything that seems like gang attire so like, chains, pointed studs, explicit images whatever you get the point. Many guys here think they look nice but usually they look like they need to do laundry. Girls all have that pin-​up look that’s overly done or poorly done. So, if you’re not looking your best probably can get away with a night out at this club.
The dance floor is spacious and they have two rooms one that’s 80s and another that’s some reggaeton/​techno shit that I’m NOT into. The bathrooms are usually clean not amazing but clean and they have a woman who has tons of helpful items stocked. Don’t forget to tip the woman she’s really sweet and hilarious.
Overall, this event can be fun depending on the event that is being held. There’s always people dancing and having a great time so if you’re looking to dance and have some cheap fun I would come here as a total last resort thing. It’s better than staying home!
