We decided to try this place out even though some of the reviews were bad and I’m glad we did. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered the gold rush combo pizza and a cheese pizza for the kids. The crust was perfect and overall a really good pizza. We would definitely come back here the next time we are in the area.

Arrived at 8:30 and the establishment closes at 9. The waiter said«I don’t think we are taking anymore orders.» He went to ask the lady manager and she had a huffy negative attitude about how hard it would be to serve us. After watching her exchange with the waiter we turned to leave. The waiter said they would do a take out order only(which is a limited section of the menu). We left. The owner of this establishment probably would not be satisfied knowing the managing employees are costing him money and closing up early. The ovens should stay hot and ready to take orders up until 9 when the establishment closes. Otherwise treat it like the laundromat next door and put up a sign that last order has to be placed by 8:15. If I was the owner that shift manager would be fired.

My family LOVES this place! Great place to stop on the way to and from Tahoe. The staff is really friendly and the food is DELICIOUS!!! Plus lots of beers on tap for my husband and wine for me :) Love all the sports décor and the TV always has sports games on. I highly recommend trying the pasta too(Fettucini Alfredo is my fav) or the Chicken Greek Pizza is a fav of ours also. If driving to or from Tahoe, exit Sly Park in Pollock Pines to get to some yummy food :)

I brought the family last week and was appalled by the slow service and turned off by the mediocre pizza. We were told our large, two-topping pizza would be 30 minutes, but it turned out to be more than one hour. As a consolation, they gave us an order of bread sticks – no sincere apologies, just bread sticks. The pizza was definitely not worth the wait; it tasted like the frozen supermarket variety, and no surprise since everything there comes out of the freezer or a can.

Called on a Monday night and ordered 3 large pizzas for pickup. Was told they would be ready in 10 – 15 minutes. We went over at about 15mins and was told it would be another 10. At 1hour we paid as our pizza was just coming out of the oven. They took 15% off the bill due to the long wait. We were then handed only 2 pizzas and were told that was all we ordered and paid for. they offered to take 10% off our next pizza was told it would be a 10 – 15 wait. We ended up grabbing a take & bake from Safeway arose the street. The pizza was good but was not worth the hour wait and screwed up order.

Went in again while doing laundry next door, because someone else paid. It’s still too expensive and it’s still not all that tasty to me. The sauce is bland, the cheese isn’t very tasty and the bread is boring. It looks pretty slow whenever I go by to laundry, or Chinese food — whereas it used to appear very busy usually. I wish they’d close up and re-open with new & better ingredients and menu.

Been here a few times. Far better if you eat it there, maybe that’s why you’re comparing it to Round Table. Maybe a little bit more expensive than competition but tastes better to me. Can be a little greasy.

I too found the staff to be quite helpful and the pizza satisfying. In a land of just off of Rt. 50– off-ramp fast food, the Pizza Factory is an oasis of variety and quality. I was however, quite upset at their choice of NASCAR driver memorabilia on the walls but was lulled back to satisfaction by «My Dad is Better Than Your Dad» on the TV while dining.

I declare this pizza– pretty tasty Food: tasty pizza Service: nice and helpful Atmosphere: cross between sports bar and pizza place On the way to Tahoe, we stopped off at the location right off of Sly Park road… I don”t know if this is the same locale. I think it’s the same company, so whatever… ANYHOO… the King was quite pleased. Asked which was the best pizza, the young girl behind the counter said«I don’t know, I only eat pepperoni,» which sort of made me wonder, but then she asked her co-horts behind her and they decided we should do halfsies on the Greek and the Pesto. Talk about helpful! And the pizza was quite tasty. So, if you’re on your way up to the ‘Hoe(as we all love to call it because we pay so much to get up, all for a few brief moments of downhill fun… I could seriously go on… this sentence started as a joke, but as I continue, I’m realizing that it’s actually a pretty apt comparison). Uh… where was I? Yes– if you’re on your way to the ‘Hoe, and you want something quick, simple, reasonably priced, and tasty– continue past Placerville and take the Sly Park exit…
