Hubby from NYC, me from Chicago. Go out of your way for this BBQ! This is time #2 for us and will be our weekly new haunt. We like those little hidden gems or what some call «a hole in the wall», this is your place but it is clean and simple.
We just had the full slab of ribs, what a knockout! We split it and had those great beans. Even their sweet tea and lemonade is damn good!
BRING CASH. Haven’t had the slaw yet, next time.

I judge barbeque in the same association Joel competes in. This guy is the real deal when it comes to barbeque. Everything was cooked perfectly. If you are in Polk City you should stop and give him a try!

This place rocks. The ribs were best around. We will be back. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was great with brisket on it. Beans were great! I liked the decorations of all the awards. This place is here to stay.
