Serene spa with great product. Susan is a wonderful lady offering several different treatments. I have had a few facials now, with esthetician and skin specialist, Shanna. She has great energy and pays attention to your wants and needs. I always leave there thanking her for her «magic hands».

I recently had a facial By Susan. My skin had been feeling extremely dry and dehydrated. Susan not only gave me a great facial, she also gave me tons of tips on how to maintain my skin feeling supple and moisturized. I left feeling refreshed and informed.

Terrible massage leaving me in more pain than when I arrived. I requested a light, relaxing Swedish massage and got an intense, rough, pressure point experience even though I told them about my request repeatedly. This was my second massage here and the first one wasn’t much better! I’m definitely not returning.

Located in «downtown» Point Richmond, Ginger Springs Day Spa is such a gem! I’ve never been into the spa thing but my life has recently gotten a little stressful. I came here for my first even massage. Everyone here is friendly and soft spoken. They take their time, have so many options, and great scheduling availability.
The facials here are great too. Another first for me, I recently turned 30 and never really took care of my skin. I didn’t know how! Susan gave me her personal recommendations and my skin has changed so much. I love this place :)

I have been going to Ginger Springs for about 10 years. Susan is a wonderful aesthetician, she is knowledgeable in the skin care products she uses and really gets to know you and your skin. She is great at recommending daily skin care products for aging skin.

Susan gave me a fantastic peptide peel the other day and I walked away feeling renewed and my skin looked amazing! She had great recommendations for taking care of my skin (I realized I was doing everything wrong for my skin type!) The spa is clean, zen, pretty and so professional. The beds were fresh, clean and warm… so inviting. I highly recommend Susan and Ginger Springs.

For the facial — definitely great! Susan did wonders for my facial and gave me the perfect relaxing spa experience. She’s so personable and really gets to know you and your skin. Susan was nice enough to recommend products to me based on my personal skin concerns and give me her honest opinions about the products I already use. She has an adorable little pup that also will join you in your session (if you’re OK with that).
For the massage — really not that impressed. I always ask for medium firmness at massages because I don’t really get them all that often, and when it’s too firm, it feels like my bones are being crushed. I had repeatedly asked for lighter firmness from the masseuse (whose name escapes me) and it would be OK for about 2 seconds before going back to the same bone crushing feeling… particular in my neck and shoulders. If you’re into a super firm massage and need some serious tension rubbed out, this would be a great place for me. But for me, just here for the well-​rounded spa experience, I wasn’t very happy. I left sore for days.

Faye is life saver. I recently moved offices to Point Richmond and have had awful back problems for some time. I never really enjoyed massages but it got pretty uncomfortable so I tried it out. the place is very clean and inviting. I am making this a regular part of my life #massageconvert

I bought my wife a gift certificate for a massage. Luckily for her (and me) it went well and she said that it was a great experience. She will be back.

My husband works near Ginger Day Spa so occasionally I come early to pick him up and treat myself. Yesterday I got a pre holiday facial and massage. Wow, I really recommend doing both. I can tell that Susan is a very skilled esthetician and followed by a massage… I truly feel 10 years younger. Rough patches that have been part of my face for years are GONE. I really feel that Susan is providing the community with a wonderful resource. She has a healing touch and has an oasis in town. Thank you!

I absolutely loved my experience today. I opted for the caviar facial. The aesthetician was very pleasant, very educational and also very complementary. She did not try to sell me things that I did not need as I am fortunate to have very good skin. I purchased a exfoliation and I look forward to using it to maintain my youthfulness.
I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a true zen like experience.

Susan put the a-​h-​h-​h-​h in spa! I am so happy that this amazing oasis is in my neighborhood! The feeling from beginning, middle and end is nothing short of 5 STAR! I had a delicious facial that left me feeling fresh and rejuvinated! I even received a follow up call to see how my skin was looking and feeling! It is such a pleasure to go somewhere where you are treated like you are a friend… Thank you Susan– I will return!

Recently I had a massage with Annie at the Ginger Springs Spa. The «new» second floor location is light and airy, much more inviting than the former first floor location. I walked in with kinks in my neck and a stiff lower back, and walked out feeling rejuvenated. Afterwards, I was treated to some specially treated water to help flush out the toxins. The spa has a calming atmosphere and easy street parking. I highly recommend it!

I recently went to the newly renovated Ginger Springs Day Spa on the second floor above the wonderful Body Wisdom Studio in lovely Pt. Richmond. I was greeted by Courtney who asked me if I had any problem areas she could work on or avoid. The massage was one of the best I have ever had here or anywhere. She had a great ability to focus on the areas with the most knots. Pressure was applied with firm yet sensitive precision. I highly recommend Courtney and Ginger Springs Day Spa.

Great place… very professional staff and friendly at the same time. The atmosphere is very calming & relaxing. If you live anywhere in the Bay Area, this place is worth the drive.

I went in with terrible back pain and hip pain, I was even walking funny. Immediately a nice young lady named Courtney greeted me and made me feel at home. I told her my problems and I left feeling like a new man after just a 90 minutes session. She’s great! I can’t wait for my follow up appointment. I highly recommend her for Swedish and deep tissue massage.

I went in because I had a kink in my neck. «neck» being the key term in this review. I ended up getting an hour long mediocre butt massage that verged on vagina massage. No joke. If I wanted my ass rubbed I could have stayed home — that’s what my fiancé is for. right?
I guess my biggest complaint was that I had to pay for it when I could get it for free at home. meh. 80 down the drain. My neck still hurts.
