I’ve been going here for years, but recently this place has become my first stop for everything. Honestly, if Building supply doesn’t have it, I doubt you need it. They will even order things for you, so ask.

This is a great place and carries everything, even stuff you would never think of. They cater to a diverse group and can help everyone with their building and/​or repair needs. They are also very competitive with their pricing for large orders and frequently beat the big guys over the «hill». Go there first if you are in West Marin, you will not be disappointed.

This is THE hardware store for West Marin. The nearest alternatives are in Fairfax or Petaluma. Pricing is not cheap, except for the advertised Ace Hardware specials, but local residents are blessed to have a full-​line hardware, building, and farm /​ranch supply so conveniently located in the little town of Point Reyes Station.

Berkeley, CA
This hardware store/​lumber yard does an impressive job of being all things to all people. They manage to sell barbed wire fencing to the ranchers; sharpen chainsaws for the National Park Service rangers; rent carpet-​cleaners to the locals; and sell beach toys to the weekenders.
The place isn’t large, but they get the job done. Helpful and friendly. Spanish spoken liberally…
