I was rolling home down U.S. 15 South from Frederick, MD to Haymarket, VA and decided to stop off in Point of Rocks, MD to grab some food. I spied One Stop Deli’s sign on the outside stating they sell liquor. I’ve been looking for a bottle of «Rittenhouse Rye» — a whiskey I cannot obtain at a Virginia ABC Store. I look through their stock and was disappointed that they had none. A young lady then approached me and asked if I needed assistance. I told her I was looking for a bottle of Rittenhouse Rye. She immediately recognized the brand and told me she had seen it somewhere. She searched around the shelves and then advised me that they none in stock. I thanked her and headed out the door. She yelled at me just as the door was closing — so I came back in. She was standing there with a smile on her face holding a bottle of Rittenhouse Rye — it was on a shelf behind the register/check out area. Problem was — no price tag on the bottle. After checking around for about 10 minutes — she asked if I wanted to come back later and pick up the bottle. I told her I lived to far away to do that. So she made a few phone calls and then had the price. I probably had to wait about 20 minutes all told. I could write a review and give the place 1 star due to no price tag on the bottle, and having to wait 20 minutes to pay for something — but it was not her fault. Instead, the fact that she was dedicated enough to find the bottle, and put in the effort to follow through and get a price for the bottle — I’m assigning 4 stars to this review. I also got one of their pre-made, slices of pepperoni pizza to go. Pizza was pretty tasty for something pre-made and sitting in a little hot box. In addition to One Stop Deli selling liquor, the also sell beer, wine, and are a full blown convenience store — and of course — a Deli. There are also gas pumps outside. Everything you need is here!

Egg salad was nothing special. The Italian cold cut was somewhat laughable, sub was small, no Italian dressing that i tasted, and a fee drops of lettuce. Nothing special, in the end its a small deli attached to a convenient store, you can’t expect it too be special. I would not recommend this. The bagged chips and soda weren’t terrible.

Great convenience store! They have everything you could possibly need. The gas is decently priced, the product prices are amazing, especially for somewhere that is «in the middle of nowehere», and they even have a great deli, not just for a gas station. It is also handy having beer, wine and liquor in one store. The girl behind the counter, Jenny, is great with customer service too! The customers are all very friendly as well.

This is as good as it gets in the convenience store category. Good selection of beer and wine, bait, ice cream, great pizza, great sandwiches, Exxon gas and an awesome staff

New to the area, I stopped in here at random. I had brunch, a cup of coffee and a steak and cheese sandwich. It was awesome! Grilled onion, I asked for some Jalapeño, pepper jack cheese. Looks an interesting place, but I’m still alive! Great food, great price. Ate it outside on a bench. Nice guy, great food for good price.

Been going here for years. Good thing they have pretty much everything, since they’re the only place in town. They are hard working people, too, so treat them well.

I live in the neighborhood and this place is outstanding. If it wasn’t for them, I would be very upset. They have beer, wine, liquor, great subs, pizza, hershey’s ice cream, gas, and more! The people who work there are very friendly and always treat you like family. Highly recommended!

Why do I like this place? Easy, it is a 1-stop for all my needs. I can get gas, beer/wine/booze, bread, milk, batteries, cat food, and a good deli sandwich and coffee to go. I haven’t tried their pizza slices yet — looks good, but I go for the egg or chicken salad sandwiches usually. Lunch can be crowded with the workers from the steel and building companies next door. I don;t care because that means they are selling alot of food — and that keeps the food supply fresh — that is always it. Man behind the counter is one of the owners, polite, but very quiet. The lady that is in there most of the days is very friendly and helpful about local information. Wish there was a place to sit and eat outside at least.
