Village Vineyards

So I called ahead and asked if they had KBS left, the guy said yes. I made sure he understood I was talking about the Kentucky Breakfast Stout by Founders, not the Breakfast Stout or Kentucky Bourbon Barrel. He confirmed they had it again. I left and arrived 5 minutes later.
I get there and sure enough they sold all of the KBS that morning, 6 hours ago. The bald guy working there was extremely unpleasant, complaining about the city and my profession (engineering).
Never going back here ever. I’d advise the same to everyone else.

I have spent some time in quite a few beer and wine shops. This one is really a great balance of all of them. The craft beer selection is GREAT. Local breweries are well represented and the terrible brews from bid and miller are hard to find. As for wine the selction is fantastic and you don’t get slammed with all of the big distributor’s wines at every turn. Lots of well known quality vineyards and your old favorites. The guys who run the place are incredible. Always offering a taste of something new. My wife, a friend and I attended their grand tasting this past Saturday ad we were very pleased. There were some low quality wines being repped there but you could see them coming (cough Horizon cough). This is a good place to go to no matter where you live on the south shore.
