I followed a sign off the freeway to get to this Tubby’s. It is inside a gas station so I park and walk in. I go stand at the counter. I notice a employee working in the back on the restaurant. I wait for about 2 to 3 minutes for someone to take my order. No one comes. I see the guy working, he looks up but says nothing. So I yell out to him, «are you guys open?» He barely looks and and says «yes but I am busy, I will be with you in a while». Really??? You will be with me in a while??? I can understand being busy but I will never stand for customer service like that.

Best sub place hands down. The service is great. They care a lot about their customers. The food is awesome. Wayyyy better than subway and jimmy johns. It is located right inside the shell gas station and it is more convenient because you can get gas and get a sandwich, and save a lot of time!

I haven’t been to a Tubby’s in 30+ years. I had recently received a coupon and decided to give them a try. This one is actually inside a Shell station, which was a bit off for me, but what the heck. The server was very nice & professional, and easily answered my questions about the menu. I decided to go with a 2XL Steak, Cheese, & Mushroom. I got home and sat down to dig in. This was one extremely hefty sub! Tons of good quality steak, and a perfect blend of the other ingredients. Nothing was too much or too little. I could only finish half, which left the other half for the next day served up cold. It was still an extremely good sandwich straight from the refrigerator!
They recently started delivering, so good bye Ji**y John’s! No more over priced little sandwiches when I don;t want to go out for lunch. I’ll be calling Tubby’s for sure!
