The Screen Guy

Live in rental property and desperately needed custom screen door for giant walkout door. Them mosquitoes are terrible, eh?
After struggling with multiple other screen door companies for weeks and weeks making multiple follow ups myself via phone and email (essentially begging someone to take my money), roommate suggested to call this guy.
Here’s how it went down:
I CALLED and left a message. ‘Twas a Thursday.
ALEX CALLED BACK and gave me options, I said let’s go hardcore and soon. Alex said he would call me back around 3pm.
HE DID and said he wouldn’t get back to the office until around 7pm but would email me then.
HE DID and said he could come Monday at 8am. I SAID YES!
HE SHOWED UP 15minutes early and apologized more than couple times for being so early, getting to work right away while I lazily watched in my pajamas.
ALEX THEN asked for some electricity and transformed his truck into a mobile manufacturing plant, whipping up our screen door in around fifteen (?) minutes while chatting politely with me and working furiously; not to fast, not too slow, but the efficient efforts of a master craftsman.
ALEX installed the door and gave me some hot maintenance tips.
I CUT HIM… a check.
I BEGGED him to accept some coffee for the road (he had a busy day ahead). I normally wouldn’t have cared so much; I was just so impressed and appreciative.
HE LEFT with a smile and a wave at 8:25am after answering my questions and chewing the fat a good long while.
HE EMAILED me an invoice.
Alex’s professionalism, punctuality and social skills made this one of the better interactions with a newer entrepreneurial business I have ever had. His 12yrs experience is evident by the quality of product we have now — finally making our patio super enjoyable.
Allow me to reiterate the time and stress put into this search by telling you how to go about getting screens repaired, replaced or installed:
DO NOT waste your time with ALL the other screen companies (I did).
