It’s family-owned, which is nice. The workers are very friendly. However, I ordered a burger with a chicken salad sandwich, and figured it wouldn’t take long since they only have to cook one thing. It took well over 25 minutes. And the«sandwich» is literally made with two pieces of white bread you get at the store. It was extremely small.

I’ve been taking my daughter to dance classes in this plaza for years. I had always seen this place, but never stopped in until about a month ago and we’ve been once a week since. I can’t believe I waited this long. It’s not much when you walk inside, but the food is AMAZING. The Turkey Reuben is the best sandwich I’ve ever had and HUGE. I always end up eating half and taking the other half home for later. They don’t have much in the way of a kids’ menu, but I asked them to make my son a grilled cheese and they did no problem. Every time I have been here the cook comes out and checks in with us personally to make sure everything is to our liking. You definitely can’t go wrong eating here. I can’t wait to try the pulled pork mac and cheese next time!

We use a great deal of coupons when we dine out, whether it be lunch or dinner. We drove some 25 miles to go here on a wintery day. It was so worth it. Just delicious! He had the pulled pork Mac n Cheese and I had the Riley sandwich. Both so yummy. We had a side of onion rings that were to die for. Thin and crunchy and NOTGREASY! Some of the best we ever had! It is a bit out of the way but totally worth the drive. Yumma!

Great sandwiches and other meals! This little gem is a little out of the way, but well worth a stop if in the Manomet area of Plymouth. Along with subs and specialty sandwiches, Stowell’s also serves fried seafood meals. While you can eat in the dining room, we take our meals out and eat overlooking the magnificent vista afforded at Manomet Point. Enjoy!

A no frills sandwich spot that gets the basics right. BLT was on point and the staff was super friendly! The local police were eating there too so you know it’s good

Best eatery in the area. All entrees are well prepared and cooked to order. Great selection of Sandwich’s, the Cheese Steak is especially good!

The best sandwiches in town. My personal favorite is their Reuben but it is all amazing. It’s a great family restaurant and everyone who works there is so nice.

I have lived in Manomet my whole life, this place has won my heart over. Always nice when you come in always helpful. He will even try to recreate your favorite sandwich from a different place. I LOVE the French dip, there is nothing ever wrong with it I have ordered this tons of times well worth the price of it as well. We also love that they do a kids sub. I have never seen a place have a kids sub before. The chicken corded bleu is really good too. I thought it needed something else for more flavor tho. All sandwiches here are huge.

We went here for lunch thinking we were going to Big Al’s Deli. We were decently surprised. The guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We ordered two subs which came out really quick. The pricing in great and the subs were really good! We would definitely go back!

This used to be Big Al’s and it was awesome. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Stowell’s. The young girl behind the counter was, I’m sorry for being so blunt, an idiot. I asked her two questions, neither of which she knew the answer to, which was fine, but she then proceeded to say, «should I ask?» Ummm, yes you should ask! Why do you think I asked you the questions in the first place. Manager came to clarify confusion about gluten free bread, and was very rude, commenting, «We don’t charge you extra for it because we feel bad that you have to eat it.» Excuse me sir, but I can’t help my allergies, and it certainly doesn’t help for you to point out my food limitations. Besides that, if you do it right, it’s as good as any other sandwich, thank you very much. That should have been a foreshadowing. Then, the girl charged me for a large sandwich when I ordered a small one, requiring the manager to come over again and fix it. Took a good 15 minutes from ordering to receiving my sandwich, and I was the only one in the shop. Chicken salad inside was pretty good, and veggies were fresh enough. It was supposed to be a panini, but it was soaked in butter and was so under toasted and soggy that it fell apart. If you don’t know how to make a panini, don’t put it on the menu, gluten free or not. First impression overall was not so great.

Stowell’s Café & Deli has the best Roast Beef Sub ever! The roast is cooked on premises by the owner and operator, Dan Stowell. It is lean, thinly sliced, and simply the best I have ever had at a sandwich shop or at home. Portions are very generous and sandwiches are served with a bag of chips and a pickle. My husband got the Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini. It was piping hot(as the chicken is actually cooked to order). Reasonably priced too. Stowell’s is not on the«main drag» of Route 3A, but not out of the way either. Definitely worth giving it a try. Recent article:
