We ordered our holiday beef there and it was fabulouse and very clean there too. A delightful experience and they had torrone which is an Italian nougut candy that I had not had since I was a child. A must try

What grouchy and rude owners. Picking on two older women for only getting ¼ pound of cold cuts. Telling them it wasn’t worth there time to cut that little that they could be selling someone else prime rib.

Their meats are so good. If I was a thin skinned person I’d be blasting them for the butchers attitude. However, He is old country and its kinda cool, his gruffness. I love taking a 10 mile trip to visit and get ass kicking BBQ stuff. These places are waning so support them as I do because Shaw’s or Stop n Shop will never go beyond what they do.

This is the best place in Plymouth to buy meat, bar none. We always buy our steaks here and have never been disappointed. They supply our Christmas prime rib and all the meat for my son’s rehearsal dinner which was a backyard barbecue. We are so glad we found them after being continuously disappointed by supermarket meats!

I am also new to Plymouth, looking for my ‘places’ and I have found the only place I will buy meat from now on! My first trip was last weekend where I picked up the best rib eye I have ever tasted. Going back this weekend to stock up for a party. And the prices are incredible for the high quality you get.

I love Piantedosi’s butcher shop. I’ve only been in the area for a little over a year and several people told me to try them. I don’t want to buy meat anywhere else. The tenderloin is so amazing and Chic and his son cut it to order. I love their homemade sausage as well as their rack of baby back ribs already seasoned and cooked. I throw them on the grill for about 3 minutes a side and the meat falls off the bone so juicy and tasty. I also love their buffalo chicken wings and their frozen entrees. The vegetable or beef lasagna if terrific as well as their sauce. I’m hungry just writing about them.

I’d lived in Plymouth for years and always wanted to check this place out, finally doing so about three years ago. Chic and his son, Mike?, are the best… treat everyone like they’re in the old neighborhood. It’s a lot like going to the old time butchers I remember from childhood when we lived up on the North Shore.
So Piantedosi’s is great; their homemade sausage (the Tuscan or Buffalo chicken or sweet Italian are to die for), beef (awesome tips and steaks cut to order however you like them). And they have some of the gourmet things you can’t find anywhere else (sweetbreads, foie gras, ostrich, venison etc. if you’re willing to pay for them that is!)

I moved to Plymouth a few months ago and I’ve been to this place about 20 times since then. I love this place.
The prices really are great. Ground beef is superior quality and is only $ 4/​lb. Steak tips are $ 8/​lb. marinated and super tasty.
Try their chicken sausages! Very reasonably priced, hand-​made… really unique flavors. My favorite is the buffalo chicken. The chicken Tuscany is also tasty.
The deli meats are unbelievable. The smoked turkey is only $ 6.99/lb. They have sliced gouda which is a rare find — and it’s super cheap — try it with the smoked turkey. The roast beef is also a great deal and it’s the best I’ve had from a deli.
They have prepared ribs that are unbelievable… again, best I’ve had anywhere prepared.
They have hormone-​free milk and the pre-​cooked chicken wings are super popular (I heard in the shop they sell 2,000+ lbs. per month).
Plenty of street parking. They close on Sundays at 2 pm. I only wish they were open later one week day — it’s tough to make it there during the week.

Best steak tips I’ve ever grilled! I’ve driven by here a million times and never stopped in. I gave them a shot last week, and couldn’t have been happier. The owner was friendly, and gave me the rundown of what they sell. All the beef is Angus quality. The sausages are all made in house too.
The prices are just as good if not better than the supermarket and you get much much better quality. There is plenty of parking in the back. They’re very nice in there, even if you don’t know a lot about the different cuts of steak, they will take the time to explain it to you.
I’ve tried the turkey tips, steak tips, cheddar and bacon burgers, and potato salad so far. Each item has impressed me. This will be my new spot to get food for the grill this spring and summer.

Very good meats, but the Big deal is their prepared home made italian frozen food case. Stuffed shells, marinara sauce. lasagna and more. You can not make the items for the prices they charge and they are very very good. Avalino Catering is part of the business.
