We have been going to New Horizons in Plymouth(Hwy 55⁄169) for a few months and were very un-impressed with the teachers(except Denise). We specifically asked during our initial visit if we could have a flexible schedule and if we wanted to not bring our daughter in for a few days or a week, could we with no charge? We were told that we could and received paperwork to that affect. This week my wife was staying home for the week and we let the center know that our daugher would not be attending the center this week. She received an email from the new Director(Heidi) stating that we would have to pay $ 50 to hold our spot. We told her that Jami(the former Director) told us we would not have to pay and asked to see paperwork where we had agreed to this(we knew it did not exist as we had the original paperwork). Heidi emailed the paperwork with sections filled in that were not filled in previously. In other words, she fraudently represented to us signing to something that we did not agree to. I called their Corporate office and got a call back from Jessie, who apparently is the District Manager and Heidi’s boss. I told her what Heidi had done and offered to show her proof, and she kept telling me that Jami should’ve filled in the paperwork correctly. While this is the case, that’s not what I was upset about. She said she spoke with the C.O.O. of the Company and they will agree to waive the $ 50. As if we’d go back to a place that would hire such an unethical employee and a management staff that doesn’t seem to care. If you have to speak to the C.O.O about $ 50, that really tells you everything you need to know about this Company.
