Yum! The food and service is impeccable. Little neighborhood gem. We had the bone marrow app. Hubby orders the ducks had the ahi tuna dish. Both were delicious ! Mango pineapple salsa and the tamarind marmalade Yum! Their homemade bread is also delicious. Stop reading this and go eat there now!!!

Went here with my partner. The service was great! The food tasted great. The atmosphere is dark(just how I like, it matches my soul) I love the LED blue accent lights. The sushi was really awesome! Our water even came with fruit! Fancy! It was a bit pricy but if you share the dishes its not so bad. THEBESTPARTISTHEYOFFERYOUANIPADAS A MENU!!! #teamapple I will be back soon!

The food is good but both times we have been there with a reservation we could not get seated in the dining room. They offer you a high top in the bar, or you can wait twenty minutes. The first time we complained to the manager and low and behold he finds us a table in the dining room. The second time the same thing happened so we just walked out and will not return. Wayne R

What a find!!! Got this recommendation from CB and as usual he does not disappoint. I got to see my girl Tiff before she got back on her plane from her DTW layover. I got excited when I saw the iPad for a menu. I thought it was another Christmas present! But then more surprises when we logged in. The drinks are as creative as they are delicious. And the sushi rolls are Butterfly quality. Chicagoans will know the reference. And the service. Sophia is a rockstar. Attentive and a blast to talk to. Another great find. Thank you! Will make my transition from Chicago a bit easier. –LC

Stopped by with my wife Friday night… The friendly host staff held the door open for us! We were seated promptly and handed a menu on an iPad. Very cool and easy to operate. Great idea! Our server Ron was fantastic! He made our experience highly enjoyable! He recommended the Charred Octopus which was like nothing I’ve ever had, an amazing combination of robust flavored and texture! For dinner I had the Chilean Seabass, which was flaky buttery goodness! Yum yum yum! The sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Perfect portion too! My wife had the filet which she describes as an experience! Dry aged and so tender and juicy you can cut through it with a fork! We both had an amazing chocolate torte so fluffy and rich! Finally I give Aqua 5 stars! Both service and food is top notch! Not pricey at all for what you get! We will be back!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a great menu! I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for a working meeting with a couple of my colleagues. I started out with their miso soup. The presentation was beautiful– a big white bowl with garnish and the server pours the broth in the bowl in front of you. I liked the flavor, but the soup was luke warm. The server didn’t return to check on me, so I was unable to return it. Nigiri– I will say that the fish was very fresh. However, it was an incredibly thin cut over a fistful of rice. Fish-to-rice ratio was absolutely awful. I had balls of rice left over. It was also served without soy sauce or ginger. I had to wait quite a while until the server came back to ask for these 2 items. When I asked the server about why there is so much rice on the nigiri, she informed me this–«I thought it looked kind of funny. Our sushi chef isn’t here today. they probably don’t know what they’re doing». ooook… I enjoyed the ambiance and the menu of the restaurant. I am willing to give it another try and hope that the service is more attentive and their dishes are served correctly.

OMG is the only way to describe this place! We pulled into the lot and was a little put off by the outside of the building, but that quickly changed as we entered the restaurant. The ambiance was nice, staff pleasant, and the food AMAZING! I am really surprised I have never heard of this little gem. I will definitely be returning!

The food is amazing. Unfortunately, its over shadowed by service that’s lacking. Both times that I’ve been at aqua, the service was horrible. It’s almost as if the staff just doesn’t really give a hoot.

We returned nearly a year after dining here. The first visit was right after they first opened and were, at the time, they had some things to work out. I have to say dining here this time was a much more enjoyable experience. The food is prepared and presented with such attention to quality. The service was also amazing, attentive and friendly. As frequent diners to all different restaurants, I did find the prices to be just enough to push them into the higher end restaurants and thus we would choose other high end favorites over Aqua because of the better menu variety for the price. Still, it is a great place to check out.

I just walked out of this restaurant 15 minutes ago and just had to write this review… Mainly in regards to the incredibly rude, unprofessional, and inhospitable(bleach) blonde hostess whom I «met» upon entering the restaurant… Although the food in this restaurant is somewhat sub-par compared to the type of fusion restaurant that it is trying to live up to; the service that I encountered tonight was disastrous… I ran up to Aqua literally for 20 minutes to meet up with my mother whom left her phone at home and simply was there to drop it off(and maybe take a few lil bites off her plate as well)… My mom is a high level automotive executive who has brought clients of hers to Aqua on MANY occasions. To make a long story short, I walked into the restaurant with a hat on, of which I was of course going to(and did) take off once I got situated and sat down… The hostess did not only NOT greet me, nor say hello or welcome, but literally gave me one of the dirtiest attitude filled looks I have seen anyone give in my entire life… And again, 20 minutes later when I left, did the same exact thing… She didn’t hold the door, or even say«goodbye», as most hostesses would do… Keep in mind I am not a 50 year old crazy lady who goes around complaining over everything in the world… I am a 28 year old entrepreneur and very much«with it», and aware… This situation needed to be called out and I hope the management sits this girl down and has a chat with her about the«hospitality» industry… This girl deliberately wanted to make me feel like s*** and she wanted me to know it. She made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and honestly, made sure that I NEVER set foot in that restaurant again… Despite me wearing a hat, this girl should know that despite what people are wearing… You never know who they are… And sadly, I’ll make sure everyone I know that ever brings up the name Aqua again, knows about my experience… To end this note… I’ll just say this… This girl treated me like garbage all for wearing a hat(a d&g hat at that… It’s not like I walked in looking like a trucker)… This is coming from a girl that works for a restaurant that used to be a side of the road Coney Island… You can literally still smell the Saganaki in the walls.

I have to say that the place is lavish and clean. The sushi roll(s), that I’ve tried were the tsunami roll, yaki roll, veggie roll my favorite and most recommended roll would be the tsunami roll. It has the crunchy taste when it you out it in your mouth, then the creamy taste when its melting in your mouth. The bathrooms are clean, but very small. The bathroom made me nausea, due to the powerful candle scent in there. Waitress was very helpful but treated us at the end like we weren’t going to tip her because of the mistaken price on the bill. It didn’t really bother me at all. Calamari is delicious it has like 5 different types of sauces collided it was outstanding! Menus are tablets. I do recommend this place if your going to eat appetizers.

Fun atmosphere with trendy décor. The menu is on iPad which is also very forward-thinking. Then there’s the food. They have a great selection of all kinds of meals and some the fancier types of dishes too(like Chilean sea bass). I did order the sea bass which was phenomenal. Hubby ordered the 7 hour roasted beef which was good as well. Our friend had the salmon which I also thought was done to perfection. The accompanying sides with each dish were full of flavor & dramatically presented. My only complain would be the kids meals. For a place with so many extensive options for adults, I think there were only 3 for kids. And it only included fries & one main item. An option of other healthier sides would be a nice option(like steamed veggies or fruit slices).

This place was absolutely amazing! I went here tonight for my friends birthday, and it was simply superb! Our service was great! The servers were very attentive. They did a great job explaining the dishes and the menu, were very friendly, and w checked in on the table for refills just the right amount. They even surprised us with free samples of sushi! At the end of the meal the owner even came out and gave us a free bottle of wine for the birthday celebration! I also adored the décor. Modern and fancy! Truly felt like i was in a trendy and sleek upscale restaurant. The food was AWESOME. The menu had such a great variety. I tried various sushis and all were delicious. I also sampled the Tiger Shrimp and Steak Bites and they were delicious(i’m not even a big seafood fan, but i loved it all!). For my main course i had the chicken, it was flavorful and fulfilling. The portion sizes were much larger than i expected from the pictures(in a good way) and were a great deal for the price. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their dishes, which included a steak dish, a salmon dish(according to our waiter a 7 time award winner), and sea bass. This place was so good i already have plans to come back this weekend with my husband!

After seeing Channel 4’s «Dinning in the D — AQUA Plymouth,» we immediately came from Ann Arbor to eat there. We drove 45 in a thunderstorm :( service was a 12 Ambiance a 9+(weather wasn’t cooperating for that amazing patio they have) Food was a 10+ Music of Sinatra, Dean Martin and The Rat Pack personally took it to an entirely different level! Breath taking, Ronald made us feel as if were were dining in Florence Italy. Where we many times go for our second home. He gave us the«limo ride» as he called it, were HE picked out every wine, cocktail, and culinary course as He refers to it. We never even seen a menu. Just stelar. Ty Ronald and Ty AQUA!

A fairly new restaurant just outside the downtown core in Plymouth, Aqua is stylishly decorated. It features industrial lighting, exposed ductwork, and contemporary black and white leather chairs. I was there recently for brunch and enjoyed a Crab and Lobster Benedict. The menu, on an iPad, was focused on a few items that included sandwiches, salads and the typical breakfast items. The lobster/crab cakes were okay — I found them to be slightly mushy. However, the eggs were perfectly poached and the glossy Hollandaise sauce was incredible. There was a delicate citrus flavor that enhanced the overall sauce. As well, the home fries were extremely good with a crispy exterior and a tender, warm bite. There was just the right hint of heat on the fries. The only element that was missing was some sort of bread — English muffin, toast… The fruit cup was a great complement to the meal. The Red Velvet cake with a thick cream cheese icing was yummy. Desserts were fairly priced. I loved the refreshing cucumber-flavored water. Service was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.
