Great food and service! The watermelon salad was excellent! I would have given this restaurant five stars, if they had included at least one vegetarian entrée(other than a salad) on the lunch menu.

We were recently here on vacation and on our way home I said to my husband«what was your favorite part of our trip» he categorically replied without hesitation«THECIOPPINOAT42 degrees north!» Not only was the food outstanding but the wait staff, especially our wonderful waitress Kristen, was just as amazing. Definitely a place to stop and eat at. We are from SF, we have a great cioppino, when the husband says the cioppino was the best part of his trip you can guarantee it was ah-maze-ing!

Excellent seafood. Love the Ahi Tuna when they have it on special. Large steak size portion. Also love their swordfish. I have not had a bad meal here. Will keep coming back. Want to try their out door dining area looks great.

We are on vacation from Oklahoma and we found this place on Unilocal and it was awesome! We loved everything from the drinks down to the delicious entrees. We had the Lost at Sea drink with Halibut and stuffed lobster. It was amazing!

I’ve eaten here twice and both times we’ve had excellent service and food. We ate out on the deck the last time since it was a nice warm day. Only draw back was the caterpillars that were drifting through air around our table while we ate. Highly recommend this place.

Just gave this place a second try… and I am bummed out. The first time coming here my fiancé and I sat on the deck at the bar for lunch. The bartender was great, but we had to wait 40 minutes for our sandwiches at 3pm on a Monday… when it clearly was not busy. The food was not great, but the appetizers were good! Friday night(8pm) we tried again for dinner. This time the food(we got steaks) was out of this world good… but the service was the worst I have ever had. Our drinks did not come until we were done with our appetizers but I had seen them sitting at the end of the bar for over 20 minutes. The manager cleared our plates, and boxed our food while we looked for our server for the check. Dinner took us 2 hours solely on the slowness of the waitress getting us what we needed or just not ever coming back. I recommend only getting take out from here.

My wife got the scallops on lobster risotto and it was delicious. She also had a chocolate martini, 2 actually so I guess they were good. I ordered the 14oz strip steak and to be honest every steak I’ve had at Longhorn has been better than this and at $ 27 I expected better. I only ate half. It just lacked flavor. I also got the au gratin potatoes and they were too cheesy. One and done for 42° north.

Recap. Got there about 6 Friday. Seated promptly and waited in quickly. Breadboard antipasto was super! Prime rib rivaled any I have ever had. Rice delicately seasoned butternut squash perfect. Bride had the shrimp and scallops. Also wonderful. Only drawback was the room was LOUD from all the action at the bar. So loud a normal conversation could kill be maintained. Actual screeching and cackling from the yupsters seated and standing at the bar. We opted not to have desert due to the loudness. Drinks were perfect and overall we were quite pleased. Would come back with no hesitation.

I bet this place is great on a warm evening with its big deck. Large interior space and huge portions. Creative menu ! Brussels Sprouts always wins me over.

Fantastic food and atmosphere at a great price. Can’t ask for much more. Outdoor bar is a great spot for a meal and a drink on a warm night!

Went to 42° North for the 1st time yesterday. Sat at the bar along with several other couples. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Had a pear martini which was delicious. Started with the calamari app, excellent. Went on to have sauteed salmon medallions over pappadelli pasta, hubby had ribeye casserole, both were very good. The bartender was very attentive and upbeat. Will be going back for sure! Biggest bummer, we left our doggie bag on the bar :(

My husband and I love this place! Lots of options around cedarville and manomet, but we always come back here. The prime rib is to die for and the specials are usually good to change things up. We got the monk fish one time and it was phenomenal. Went back this past week and had the scallops with bacon mushroom risotto. Scallops were amazing, risotto was a bit under cooked. Husband got the prime rib and was not disappointed. Was disappointed to see they changed their menu style. Changed from a traditional«book» type menu to a laminated sheet which took away from the feel of the restaurant being upscale. The format was also hard to fallow on the new menu, the dishes and descriptions didn’t quite match up on the layout.

I had waited forever to come here thinking it must be impossible to get in-or too fancy pants for the likes of me. Wrong! A pretty good sized space– no wait, and so friendly and casual. The service is great, everyone I have met is nice, knowledgable and has cheerful and sweet personality. Got the Mac and cheese fritters which are reason alone to come back. OMG. My scallops and zucchini with lobster risotto was super tasty. A large portion that was seasoned and plated wonderfully. They just changed their menu so I don’t know what is different– but I know I will totally be back for good food, drinks and really awesome servers.

Quick service. Great food. Baked quahogs and sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizers are what I ordered. Very tasty. Would go back. A tad loud but that’s not a deterrent. I will travel 40 minutes for the sweet and spicy cauliflower, yes I will, ain’t no shame!!! I’ve done it 3 times this month(December). My favorite place, someday I will try something new.

Very nice experience here! I went when this restaurant first opened and loved it but live out of state, visit a few times a year so back for a visit and went Friday night with a friend. Hostess very efficient and sat us immediately. Only negative was the bread is a focaccia type and dry/stale like. Started off with two glasses of wine, great wine list list, for entrees I got the seared scallops over lobster/corn risotto with zucchini medallions, EXCELLENT! Scallops very tender. My friend got a Mahi Mahi special with rice, pineapple salsa and beans. We ended with the key lime pie and cranberry lemon martini. Service was spot on — very attentive. Definitely recommend going here to anyone who is in the Plymouth area.

What a pleasant surprise in Plymouth, MA! We recently tried this spot out while visiting family in the area, and were not disappointed. The service, food, and atmosphere all hit the spot. I’m a celiac, and they were accommodating in helping me decide on a dish that wouldn’t get me sick, always a plus. They also let me take the side from one dish and marry it to a different main course, points for that too. My drinks were delicious, and so was the Arctic Char I had over mushroom, bacon, and parmesan risotto. This will be our go-to spot while visiting the area, for sure.

Found this exquisite gem on Unilocal. We started with my usual Stoli O Cosmo, delicious ! Next we had the lobster corn chowder, full of chunks of lobster meat, appetizer we shared the Quaghog, I had never heard of it so I wanted to try it, 2 clams with a shrimp on top of each with a creamy lobster sauce, it was OK. For dinner we shared the lobster/ravioli and the 2 lb lazy man’s lobster. The lazy man’s lobster was to die for, Chuck full of shrimp, scallops and of course lobster. My husband did not care for the ravioli so the waitress took it off the bill. Great service and dining experience !

Went super early for dinner on a Saturday night. Busy place at 5:45pm! Outdoor deck is probably lovely but we didn’t have a reservation so opted for first available inside. Waitress was a little frazzled — looked like she was taking care of quite a few high maintenance tables. She accidentally dropped a few things, got a little sauce on my bag, but was really apologetic and I could tell she was trying hard. I ordered the wedge salad, mac n cheese fritters, and Margherita flatbread while my husband started with the lobster and clam corn chowder and had the seafood cioppino. The chowder was nice and he really enjoyed the cioppino. Full of seafood and a nice broth. My salad was a little heavy on the blue cheese but overall fine, fritters were obviously delicious, and the flatbread was decent(also a little heavy on the cheese). Overall a nice meal. Might be a more enjoyable place when it’s not so busy. But for a nice meal out near Plymouth it fit our needs.
